I bet he will be back. Same could be said of brandon banks and a bunch of burners. But also plenty of big wrs like bowman. Bowman never had a good or even average set of hands. Its easier to cover some one like Nik lewis and deny the ball then it is against a burner. And its still pretty easy to create a lot of easy touches in an offense for a wr. Banks came into the league at about the same age as whitehead, and he spent 4 years as a fringe player at wr. 3 out of those 4 years he was much further behind what whitehead did last year. And considering how quickly he was relegated to running deep every time he was on the field in an offense that doesnt chuck it deep often he did well. Whitehead is extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands, one of the most dangerous players in the league. He may or may not take the next step and improve. If he does, he will be an all star and back in the nfl in a year or two. If he doesnt, at worst he's still the most dangerous wr threat weve had in a long long looooong time. That would be a very interesting move. He was a poor fit with the riders but Im not sure hes a better fit here. Walters killing it.9 points

Can't underestimate how good it feels to have both lines looking pretty similar to 2019. If we can somehow get Kongbo back, there will be virtually no drop off (apologies to Mr. Nevis).5 points -

Your argument is incoherent. I expect nothing less from you. Sorry, it's not up to your Rebel standards of just making up whatever you want to fit your alt-right narrative. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/11/us/florida-coronavirus-data-rebekah-jones.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/12/07/rebekah-jones-covid-19-dashboard-florida-desantis/4 points

There were no issues with Whiteheads hands at all..I think he had maybe one bad drop...it happens...he was woefully mis-used, and then when he was used it was blatantly obvious to teams as Lapo never deviated from things or expanded his role and he got smothered...and subsequently beat to a pulp, as he was nicked games before he was replaced by Bailey and it was very obvious...If you look back, after about game 3 teams would totally converge on him and lapo basically had him sitting down and then having to beat 3-4 guys who were right on him.. he got a little over 500 yards in 15 games with next to know volume..basically under 3.5 receptions a game...give him some volume..some crossers over the middle or through the seam in flight...and look out4 points

I'm not really crazy about going down this rabbit hole of an argument, but it's clear that blue states are more urban, more densely populated. Trump also flat out admitted that he would provide assistance to red states, and not so much blue states. If that isn't "blood on his hands" I don't know what is. If you aren't looking at the whole picture, then you aren't getting the whole story.4 points -
The federal government is still standing by their September prediction. Assuming all these additional vaccines get approved I would tend to believe that it can get done this year. The problem of course will be the anti-vaxxers simply refusing to get vaccinations which will allow this thing to be a problem longer than it should.4 points

Every province with a CON Premier had an awful COVID19 response, and you know that O'Toole is cut from the same cloth. Again, prioritizing $$$ ahead of lives is what they're all about. And a pandemic is not the time for that. I've said from Day 1, I was so incredibly thankful we had the Lib's in charge when the pandemic hit. I only wish Rachel Notley was still in charge in Alberta.4 points

So I thought this was just a trend for the last 2 years, but this is telling. Charleston Hughes sacks the last 7 seasons: 2019 - 16 total in 17 games (10 in first 7 games, 5 in next 5, 1 in final 5), 1 sack in 1 playoff game 2018 - 15 total in 17 games(13 in first 10 games, 2 in final 7 games), 0 sacks in 1 playoff game 2017 - 11 total in 14 games played (6 in first 5 games, 5 in final 9), 1 sack in 2 playoff games 2016 - 16 total in 18 games (7 in first 8, 3 in next 6, 6 in final 4) , 0 sacks in 2 playoff games 2015 - 10 sacks total in 15 games (9 in first 9, 1 in final 6) 2014 - 8 total in 11 games (6 in first 6, 2 in last 5), 0 sacks in 1 playoff game 2013 - 18 sacks total in 16 games (13 in first 10, 5 in last 6), 0 sacks in 1 playoff game Toronto may be wise to cut him before Labour Day when veterans’ salaries are then guaranteed for the remainder of the year.4 points -

The coronavirus is not influenza in any way, shape, or form. That's been covered in this sub-forum already a few times - in multiple threads. Coronavirus and influenza are two different types of viruses. The science was settled on that long ago. For someone who claims to "follow the science," you get the science wrong all too often.3 points -

Why do you you do this? You know this isn't true. You know it's going to get called out. Why do you need a football forum to validate your existence? I mean, if you want some meaningful interaction in the covid era- I can invite you to a game of codebreaker online if you want. If you play any co-op videogames over the internet, shoot me a gamer tag and I will totally invite you. You don't need to troll so hard for validation.3 points -

If it is, it's likely that they won't be returning, unless they're still pursuing NFL opportunities. But, if Lucky doesn't sign by Tuesday, how long can Walters hold the cap space for him? Probably not long while names are getting scratched off the list.2 points

lol @ mid-2022.... no. Anyone who wants one will have it this year for sure. In fact, I'm still optimistic about the plan to have almost everyone done by September. Once the factories are back up and running in Europe and things start rolling again, there will be a lot less hand wringing.2 points

Connor Griffith... stats said he never played a game. I don't think we will rotate 4 DT on a game. We rotated 4 DEs but not DTs. So if the plan is to sign Johnson here, we will rotate 2 Richardson and Johnson and Jake Thomas (or a Cdn DT). Btw, we signed Nichols! A DB though. 😁2 points

Best part of the Guardian article is the last two sentences of this snippet. A delicious middle finger to the grifter . ”And yet, in less than five minutes, USFL joy was replaced by USFL horror, and NFL horror was replaced by NFL joy. After confirming that, yes, the NFL had violated the law, the jury awarded damages of … $1. Yes, one dollar. “Actually, $3,” said David Cataneo, who covered the trial for the Boston Herald. “Damages in antitrust laws are tripled.” Rozelle had the car turn around again and speed to the courthouse. Trump, already there, was sitting alongside John Mara, the son of New York Giants’ owner Wellington Mara. When the words “one dollar” emerged from Leisure’s lips, the younger Mara pulled out a $1 bill from his wallet and handed it to the Generals’ owner. Trump’s sunken expression was worth the price.”2 points -
