they have pissed away much of their water. irrigating the desert, growing subsidized gm corn to dump in Mexico., hay to sell to Asia. American do not conserve resources. They will be taking ours one way or the other. thats one thing we can expect. As the planet heats, expect America to be more like a third world country, than it is already.3 points

Booked my 2nd vaccine shot July 4 and just peeked at the 2021 schedule - only one Thursday night game (which the missus hates) but it coincidentally lands during our holidays. Looking forward to it... summer just got a lot more promising!3 points -

See, I think the UK thing might not necessarily happen because of the difference in population density. UK is the entire population of Canada in a space the size of Alberta. I'm not saying that what Alberta is doing right....I'm not saying the UK situation ISN'T going to happen here....I'm just saying that it's not for sure, and there's absolutely legitimate reasons why it might not happen here.2 points -

It's insanity. The fact that it's being allowed just shows how far down the fascist rabbit hole they have already gone. I've said it before and I'll say it again , the USA is pooched. The only questions in my mind are how ugly it gets and how bad will it be for Canada being their next door neighbor.1 point -

In a better place than MB? Absolutely. That is a a low bar... we have the highest ingrown rate north of the Mexican border. But what is happening in the UK is a glimpse of what is gong to happen, unless something different is done. Throwing the province wide open with only 25% of the population being fully vaccinated... that is not learning from other's mistakes.1 point -
Okay, but, along with Lirim, they're pros. The hope was that Medlock could teach Marc how to be a pro and then push him. You bring in a vet kicker and let them teach him.1 point

Alberta is crazy. I'm just hoping for a modest reopening such as being able to go to the gym, eat on a patio with family or friends, 25% in stores. Oh and being at IGF on August 5th.1 point -

They'll make the changes next week, as the current health orders are set to expire on June 26th. By then (the 22th to 24th), we'll have 25% with 2nd doses and they can "let us" have a more open Canada Day. Provided, the cases, TPR and hospitalizations continue to drop. Gee, it's almost like the Federal Government has been saying since November, that everyone who wants one will have a first dose by the end of June and second dose by the end of September.1 point -

I think their Minister of Health just said that yeah, a lot of people died but they weren't really healthy. Death to the weak is bold conservative strategy.1 point -

At some point in our lives, it comes to us that we are not going to live forever, and most of us have our share of regrets about the things we have done and the way we have treated people. And then many will begin to fear that God is "gonna get them for that" and all the judgmental stuff we have heard as children makes us fear that we are going to Hell for not being perfect. Those who have accepted this crap fall into what they hope will be perfect obedience to dogma rather than the final direction of the Christ- treat others as you would be treated and love your neighbours (all others) as you love yourself. Our faith reflects our concept of our Creator- either angry, condemning and unquestionable or loving, encouraging of us to be better and tolerant of the paths that others choose that do not do harm. We are all imperfect but most of us desire to do and be better. Its all about choices.1 point -
