  5. Yeah Wilson is our Weakside LB (top 3 in the league easy) not a DB. Also TSN just posted a video calling Fajardo the LEAGUE MOP in 2019...I know it's just a typo or whatever, but this is the type of **** that makes the CFL bush league. Not the talent/salaries etc...it's the **** reporting and just total lack of professionalism from partners. Maybe I'm nitpicking but it drives me crazy!

  11. The reports out of Bomber training camp have been thin, few and far between. In most years, we would be getting daily updates as to who is doing well, who is not, rookie "finds" and so forth. I find this lack of updates disheartening and annoying.

Three in 10 Trump voters believe the feds are using the vaccine to microchip Americans A new poll reveals a stunning political divide among Americans who are willing to protect themselves and their families against the deadly coronavirus versus those who believe conspiracy theories and lies propagated by malignant actors on Facebook, Fox News, or other far right wing media. In the latest Economist/YouGov poll, a whopping three out of every ten Republicans, Trump voters, and conservatives say they believe the U.S. Government is microchipping Americans through COVID-19 vaccine inoculations. There is no basis for the absolutely false and delirious claim. And while right wingers are not alone in this belief, only a small percentage of those identifying as Democrats, Biden voters, or liberals also claim it to be "definitely" or "probably" true. Overall, 20% – that's one in five Americans – believe the microchip lie. Within the 20% who believe that lie, half (51%) say they "will not" be vaccinated. Three in 10 Trump voters believe the feds are using the vaccine to microchip Americans - Alternet.org (If the vaccine is delivering chips, I hope I get Doritos)

  23. Ya as a Rider fan I feel the same way over here. Now that fans are able to go might get a little bit more. I find myself jonesing for any CFL news. I have been trying to follow the bombers camp also as I have a couple former teammates at camp and want to hear about how they are doing. I might go watch the Riders scrimmage of Saturday. Too bad the planned Riders vs Bombers scrimmage couldn't have happened as planned this coming up weekend. Would have been nice to go watch that. I think I would have had a combined 6 or 7 friends playing on the field between the two teams.

  24. From an outside fan perspective I think Lawler has the chance to be your best receiver. I really like Darvin Adams and think he is a very complete reciever but I think he is probably at his peak in play. I see Lawler as having room to improve. I remember him burning Purifoy in the West Final for a long touchdown on a corner route. Something not many receivers did in 2019.

I believe we will see it sweep through Manitoba's low vax areas as well. I am pleasantly surprised to see the provincial rate still climbing .I thought it might slow to a crawl by now. 77.4 % is really good.

I hear you. I have a three month old and I've been doing research in regards to transmission from fully vaccinated people and risk if he does get it somehow. According to Mayo Clinic, many kids have very little symptoms and are often diagnosed when they are admitted to hospital for other reasons, such as a broken arm - carrying Covid, but not really affected by it. Kids under 1 year of age are a bit of a different story as they have smaller airways and are less developed. My autoimmune condition likely means the vax was less effective on myself. I'm not too worried about hospitalization/death to myself, but more concerned with spreading to my son and other kids. Really want to go to the home opener, but weighing it carrying Delta back to my home. Fortunately I can have some reassurance being around others that have been sensible and likely have better protection than myself from the vax.

  34. Riders just lost their two projected starting tackles. Cyrus Kouandjio, who was penciled in as their starting right tackle, just informed the team he is retiring and Terran Vaughn, who was projected as their starting left tackle, has been out with a shoulder injury since the 14th and its more serious than originally thought. 36. Lol. Did ppl think the Jets would protect UFAs? Lol. List is what I thought it would be. Only decision was Logan vs Demelo and they made the right decision. Bottom line is DeMelo is a 3rd pair guy. Stan likely is also but he has size which the Jets D severely lacks. Perreault is a Ufa. Teams don't protect those guys. Who will Seattle take? Appleton

It seems like the lowest level of ignorance varies, and parts of america are at Rural Africa, or Afghanistan levels of ignorance and superstition. Legislators outlawing a vaccine that prevents disease in children. astonishing. " 1796, the British doctor Edward Jenner demonstrated that an infection with the relatively mild cowpox virus conferred immunity against the deadly smallpox virus." these idiots are using pre 1796 science to make decisions. Darwin's theory of natural selection is being nudged a bit cause these people should probably be dwindling in numbers without the science that they despise.

Trump says his only regret as President was not deploying military to attack BLM protestors Donald Trump, the twice-impeached, one-term Republican president who lost the popular vote twice and the Electoral College once says he has but a single regret for his time as Commander in Chief: not deploying the U.S. Military to attack Black Lives Matter protestors during the summer of 2020 – an act that at the very least would have been met with massive resistance nationwide and some say would have violated the Constitution. In a lengthy excerpt published at Vanity Fair from their new book, "I Alone Can Fix It," Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker focus on their hours-long interview with the former president at Mar-a-Lago, just 70 days after Joe Biden was sworn in as president. "I think it would be hard if George Washington came back from the dead and he chose Abraham Lincoln as his vice president, I think it would have been very hard for them to beat me," Trump told the two Washington Post reporters."I think it would be hard if George Washington came back from the dead and he chose Abraham Lincoln as his vice president, I think it would have been very hard for them to beat me." That was just one of the astonishing remarks Trump made during the interview – an interview he agreed to, knowingly, for the book. "Over the years," Leonnig and Rucker write, "Trump rarely has expressed misgivings. But he regrets his response to protests last summer in Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, and other cities. 'I think if I had it to do again, I would have brought in the military immediately,' he said." Trump says his only regret as President was not deploying military to attack BLM protestors - Alternet.org The fake Arizona "audit" is confusing, idiotic, and endless — which means it's working as intended Trump and his allies are building the foundation for the 2024 coup effort by sowing more confusion about voting now The first thing to know about the fake Arizona vote "audit" that was the subject of an equally fake state senate "hearing" last Thursday: It's nearly impossible to follow what the hell is happening. A lot of wild claims about voting "irregularities" are being flung about, and so are the fact checks, in a dizzying array of information that will cause even the most avid QAnoner's eyes to glaze over. Over the weekend, Donald Trump put out three separate statements full of so many false claims about the "audit," that it's nearly impossible to keep track of and debunk every lie. Associated Press reporters must surely be commended for their efforts in doing so. The second thing to know about the fake audit is that everything about it is pure theater. It is agitprop meant to create the illusion of information-gathering while the people involved are doing everything in their power to distort reality. Take for instance Doug Logan, a conspiracy theorist masquerading as a security "expert," whose firm, Cyber Ninjas, is running the fake audit. He pretended to testify last week about the so-called audit in an environment done up to look like a senate hearing. In reality, as the Arizona Republic reported, "it was not a hearing of any committee," and no one was allowed to ask questions but Arizona Senate President Karen Fann and Sen. Warren Peterson, two Republicans who have been involved in propping up this fake audit from day one. The third thing to know is that, even though the "audit" was supposed to be wrapped two months ago, it's quite clear now that it will be dragged out for a long time, and may never really be concluded. Logan has a pre-existing conclusion — that the election was "stolen" from Trump — and so Logan wants to keep digging even though he is yet have turned up any real evidence, because it didn't happen. He is now asking if his "auditors" can go door to door, using "canvassing" as cover for what is obviously going to be a racialized harassment campaign against Arizona voters. Around The NHL 2021/22

I guess Montreal’s GM figures the surprise Cup run has bought him some goodwill with the fans, because they are playing some dangerous games with the expansion draft. First they announce a “career threatening injury” for Shea Weber (who funnily enough looked healthy throughout the playoffs) and leave him unprotected, which many experts figure is a phoney statement to protect Chariot, Edmundson, and Petry on defence and scare Seattle away from risking the Weber pick. The league actually said they are watching closely to see if any monkey business occurs. Now they hear that Seattle will take Jake Allen so they expose Carey Price figuring the high salary will scare off Seattle once again. My hope is that they grab Price and call Montreal’s bluff. The fans would lose it, and at worst Seattle has a rock solid goalie in the Mark Andra Fleury vein, or they go back to Montreal and negotiate a trade with them so return the Habs saviour this past decade to them. All this to say those who complain that Chevy made no moves forget how Vegas burned so many teams last time. Take your lumps, lose one player and move on. Appleton or DeMelo are not the difference between winning a Stanley Cup and missing the playoffs.
