I genuinely think he is one of the best QBs in the CFL. I've thought so since he first established himself with Toronto. The perception of him being middle of the pack at best is mostly based on injury concerns due to concussions, understandably. If the games were played on PS5 with injuries turned off he's right near the top.

If BC had a kicker..they win And both mid teir teams there tho rider fans will say otherwise..and I see the riders trifecta of Marshall..Gainey and Edem are still the biggest douchers in the league..

To me I could give a rats ass..and honestly I like walby and Dunnigan the best..not most polished...out of the box delivery but by far most entertaining and give best insights..and who cares if they cheerlead here and there..I think that's great..

Pvr'd the game. Our fronts dominated on both sides. Thought BO20 had great vision and his cuts to open lanes where sharp and quick. Runs a bit like Andrew. We look like we are in good hands with him. What a difference a healthy Biggie is. Flying all over the field making plays. After a rough start Alford settled in and was in position from there on. Sayles looks like a player. Miss Darvin punking db's with his blocking and trash talk. Our kicking is a big concern for me. Cant go all season without having confidence in making 45yard field goals... So happy CFL is back!!

And you are wrong. It's not the voice that makes Bob Irving a ******* legend. It's the way he calls the game. I mean **** rod black has a great voice for it but he's still dogshit. My assessment, you don't know what you're talking about and mistake voice for actual talent calling the game.

A voice is like being a 6'4 athletic as all hell receiver it gets you a lot of chances but ultimately it's not the only thing you need. You actually have to be good at what you do.

You heard it here first guys. Doesn't matter what you say so long as you sound good saying it. This according to a guy that claims to know someone who works for HNIC. Pack it in Noeller, your decades of first hand experience are nothing next to the anecdotes of a guy that knows a guy.

The more he plays the more I like Jones. He got a good lick in on banks early too and you could see the poutiness start to creep in. Guy gets it.

here's a Mike Jones play I noticed. Ticats run a pretty-looking play with a lead blocker out in front of the receiver, the blocker has good positioning ... but Jones just goes thru the blocker Thiadric style, gets a little bit of body on the rec and slows him up so the bomber D can rally to the tackle. it was true in 2019 and is still true in 2021: the best way to club a Ticat is to use another Ticat.

They are treating the international program a bit too much like make a wish for my liking.

Game crew still crying about last years playoff loss

I have been watching the Blue Bombers for four decades, and this will forever be one of my favorite Bomber plays that I will always remember. Thank you Matt for all that you did for us.

Don't mean to distract anyone from tonights game, or to be a downer, but I have to get this off my chest: this game was very, very emotional for me. My Mom was a big Blue Bomber fan. And back in November, 2019, we watched the Bombers win the Cup together. We cried and hugged each other with joy, as she waited so long to see the Blue win the Cup (as did we all). Last week our family lost our Mom, at age 96. She lived a long and good life and she truly had a heart of gold (I'd like to think "Blue And Gold!"😉) and was loved by all who knew her. And that Grey Cup game was the last Bomber game she would ever see. It breaks my heart that she couldn't watch the game tonight, but if she could have, she would have had a big smile on her face, to see the Bombers win, especially after this last year and a half or so of the world going crazy. So, with a mixture of happiness and sadness, I'm thinking of Mom tonight. #ForMyMom #ForThe W🥲💔🏈

if you're talking about us not going for the FG just before the half, that was a 52-yarder, which is a 50/50 kick even for a guy like Medlock. and then our fg team has to cover a dangerous return guy. was a low reward / high risk play and a good coaching decision; we wound up not needing the points.

Listen - here's an absolute broadcasting truth: There's a lot of subjectivity to it, as far as what people enjoy. I don't want to go so far as to say "everyone's ears are different..." but some people are just looking for different things out of a broadcast/broadcaster... And that's fine. I'm okay with that. If what Rod Black does is enjoyable to some people, that's great. Whatever makes you happy. But from a guy who hires broadcasters for a living, the voice is among the least important things for me when I'm hiring someone new. I want a top notch communicator, a hard worker, and an extremely positive attitude. I don't work in TV, and things are a bit different over in that world, but the basics are the same. There's a reason Chris Cuthbert is the best to ever do it... And it's very little to do with his voice.

There is something about Barker that has irritated me in the past, but I thought he gave a pretty good breakdown of the Sask game plan for the half and how it compensated for their o-line woes. He has good insight and can communicate it to an audience well to my mind.

Very impressed with "Our Bombers" last night. It was so amazing to be at the game after all that's gone on the last couple years. Winnipeg was more ready for the season than Hamilton was. I think that our rookie DB's handled themselves quite well and will only get better. Hamilton was out of sync where as Winnipeg was able to use their tried and true running attack to dominate the game. Hamilton will be much more difficult to face later on in the season. But based on this game Winnipeg deserves to be number 1 on all CFL power rankings. Defending Grey Cup champs and Hamilton is supposed to be better than us based on the so called experts. We dominated them!

Black has no clue where the ball is on the field. He never says the down & distance. The other thing is that TSN no longer keeps track of ind player stats. So, we don't know how many yards Oliveira had, we don't know the passing stats of the qbs & we don't know receiving stats of the players unless the announcers tell us. They keep no defensive stats as well. Especially sack totals like they used to. When I said the production value was better, it was. Some very nice shots of the stadium inside & out but it's the same **** again for viewers watching. The (lack of) talent in the booth hasn't changed.

I'm recwatching the game now. I've seen two bad misses on ham and a couple badly missed holding calls on Nelson. Both away from the play which is probably why they went un noticed. He seems frustrated with the physicality of the cats dbs. The bump n run / press cover took him out of plays heavily a few times early. One missed on him would've been a first down and he was wearing the db like a sweater with the ball in the air. The tug was on another scramble by collaros he was on a deep out tried to come back and the db rode his jersey.

Dammit ! Why did I watch that ! Lol, one day I fully expect Dr. Faucci to walk up to a mic and say " You know what , f**K all of you I'm out of here " and leave the USA.
