Look at all the Rider games and the DLine offsides they get...it's astonishing...that..and all the selfish undisciplined play/penalties...that's a poorly coached team ..inmates running the asylum there. On a different Note...the tsn panel... particularly Barker (whom I like btw,) either just can't/don't want to give the Bombers credit...or just catering to whiney Rider fsnbase with comments about the Riders having to deal with injuries..etc ..and that the results were inevitable and the wins were not truly indicative. Let me think...we missed a starting running back for 3 games...starting reciever (Adams) for 3...lost run stopping DT in first game...Started season without our Will... He still out..missed Demski for 2... Jefferson knicked for first 3...lost our starting Sam in TC and then his replacement in in game 1. Lost the Will replacemt in game 1. Have started 2 raw rookies in secondary...hmmmm....lost our returner in game one....had to replace Medlock...and we are....oh yes 5-1 It's called depth ..good coaching and a kick ass team culture in the dressing room.

Just want to point something out on the first half melee… I didn’t catch it all during the game… saw the Harris helmet rip after the fact… should he have been kicked out? Maybe…. But it seems a lot of people are forgetting in 2019 against Montreal when Vernon Adams ripped Bighill’s helmet off, tried to smash his head in with it… and still stayed in the game… Ripping a helmet off is definitely not an automatic dq…

Harris busts up the gut to the 7….then down to the 2.. McGuire burrows in for the TD. 6-3 Bombers…. …as Leggo misses the extra point What is it with the Rider D line and these offsides Morrow clobbered on KR. Several Bombers miss tackles on hitch pass, to Powell Powell bursts for 12……Riders sticking with the run game Bombers not dominating the LOS, right now Fajardo completes down to the Bomber 25…. Cody finally feels the heat and dumps ball away Rider FG makes it a 6-6 game Harris stuffed on 2nd down attempt…. Fajardo is buried by Jeffcoat and Bighill…. ….but then finds huge hole up the middle… ..scrambles for big gain.... Fajardo pressured...throws it up to no one in particular... .....except Bighill who makes nice diving INT.. Zac to Demski on a slant....who finds the sideline... ...and rolls for big gain to Sask 40... Zac hammered and completes to Wolt, who is on his back. 50 yard punt by Leggo….uh, I mean missed FG attempt Some concern about this kicking, moving forward…. Commander Cody finds a guy iso’ed on Bighill, along sideline… …..for 50 yd gain. 2 runs by Powell…then 2 incompletes Red zone D is the one thing Bomber D is doing right, so far… Crowd has shut up, somewhat…. Blue being outplayed… Harris for 9…..McGuire comes in…to, oops…..play action pass…. ….right down the pipe to Demski all the way to Rider 14 Zac scrambles and finds Bailey down to the 1 McGuire pounds it in…..now 12-9 Bombers…. Suddenly a brawl fest in end zone……Demski roughed up… …while Harris rips the helmet right off some dude Officials have a meeting and eject 2 Riders….but not Harris…. ……crowd cheering. Leggo misses extra point…crowd booing.. Leggo follows that up….with a KO out of bounds. Not good enough. Powell with a couple more good runs….and more missed tackles on D.. Cody F. scrambles out and finds Moore down to the Bomber 40.. Mike Jones breaks up pass at the goal line…..Sask challenge for PI….. ….but no dice. Lauther misses 50 FG attempt…. Nelson returns it….and does his run to the sideline thing….. Willie J. blows in and sacks Fajardo, who hits his head on the turf… ….and is walked to the dressing room… Zac finds Lawler down the middle on 2nd down for 22…. ….Rider roughing penalty tacked on….gets it to the Sask 30…. Harris on draw play….uses 2nd and 3rd effort for a first down… Zac looks for Lawler deep ….he is pulled down…obvious PI.. Mike Edem heads for the dressing room, holding his arm….. …while receiving plenty of “encouragement” from the fans.. McGuire pushes it in for TD #3….will he lead the league in scoring? Leggo makes the extra point….fans cheering somewhat ironically…. 19-9 Riders will need a bunch of field goals, here…. Harker comes in and scramble/passes it down to the Bombers 40 Lauther misses a 40 yarder…..bad kicking some kinda disease, here… Powell runs for 15 with yet more missed tackles. Riders jump offside. Bomber 3 man rush….but Jefferson strips the ball from Harker….. …..Riders recover…but it is a 22 yard loss…. 3 straight completions to Demski, Wolt, and Bailey have Blue moving.. Rider take yet ANOTHER offside call. Boning themselves with this stuff…. Collaros looks downfield and spots Adams 10 yards behind his man…… Zac lays the ball right in there…..for an easy peasy 40 TD pass. Leggo adds a bonus extra point….now 25-9 Bombers. 30,000 fans now won’t shut up….. Blue kick coverage good today…..rest of ST’s shaky….. Riders punt….Nelson busts return for 6 or 7 yards….. Leggo has punted pretty well at least Harker with more short passes….then sacked by Hansen….. 2nd down dump pass snuffed out by Bighill…. Harris uses classic spin move up the middle, for 15 Zac chucks up long ball over the back shoulder to Lawler… ....right on target….Lawler goes up and comes down with it.. 55 yd TD. Those 30K fans…still won’t shut up 33-9 with 2 minutes left Bombers run out the clock, with yet another Rider offside in the mix Riders without a touchdown or a point in 2nd half for 2 straight weeks… Bombers putting up crazy defensive record in points allowed…. Do or Die putting down crazy amounts of gin…..

Meh, who cares if we are underrated. Let the Rider fan base be fat and happy. I am fine with everyone not giving us credit where it is due. Pretty sure TSN still hasn't comprehended pur manhandling of the Ti-Cats in the 2019 Grey Cup

Is this correct, Collaros is 9 and 1 as a Bomber?

Collaros ability to scramble and get the ball to a spot with some zip make building an offense possible. We don't need Harris to be a 1000-1000, he's barely a factor as a receiver now that we can throw downfield and scramble out of the pocket.

I was looking at his stats the other day. I know he gets a lot of flack because of the grey cup in 2007 and his sharp decline in 2008 but he averaged about 1500 yards and close to 6 yards per carry for five straight seasons and the amazing thing is during his prime we had one one of the worst offensive lines in the league and guys like Tee Martin under Center. Also back to back 2000 all purpose yards. I love me some Andrew Harris but Roberts was truly spectacular. As a kid growing up during his prime and being a short fast runningback I remember emulating his game and I have to say he doesn’t get enough love.

Somehow he gets over looked. Said it a little while back but he is healthy and back in MOP form. You see the plays, but he also gets people in the right spot and makes calls. He is going to get paid next year and I hope we keep him.

My initial reaction will probably always be anger as well. These idiots have significantly affected my career, my side business, the birth of my son and ability to have relationships with family who have developed difficult health conditions. Not to mention my personal mental health. Being able to share anger and disgust through this board has helped me to realize I am not alone and that it really is an exceptionally vocal minority. Unfortunately, there's very little I can do personally to stop these people from dragging society back with them and extending the pandemic further. Once they've built up that wall of arrogance around them, arguments don't tend to work, no matter how logical or fact based. What we can do is hold politician's feet to the fire to ensure vaccine requirements and mask mandates are held up and insist on the protection of those who cannot get vaccinated. As much as I'm feeling pandemic fatigue, I'm also feeling the fatigue of being kept in a state of hatred and I am likely extending that to those around me more than I'd like.

the change from Hecht to Alexander in 2019 was like the change from Willy to Nichols in 2016 -- suddenly we were a different team.

The D was never brutal. This D from the time Richie Hall came in has been solid. Turned the franchise around, tons of turnovers, scored tons of points itself and with short fields for the O. Having Nichols at QB was a huge handicap for this entire team and the fact they've been able to stay top 3 in the West relied a lot on D and Medlock scoring a bunch/dominating field position plus Harris being an all-time player into his 30's as a 1000-1000 type player. It certainly annoys people to see other teams march and pile up first downs, but the scoreboard is what matters.

Just like our ridiculous run in the 2019 playoffs. Giving up 1 touchdown in the final 10 quarters of football against the 1st, 3rd, and 4th highest scoring teams in the league(we were 2nd). Greatest defensive playoff run in history? Probably.

Its been said, but man we miss Stove up the middle in the run game. We have DTs who can play, but we dont have a plugger like him.

O'Shea has given Liegghio a shot to kick some longer field goals but I think heading into Edmonton he needs to gear down a bit, punt those ones and let Liegghio earn trust to try those 45 plus yarders by showing consistency in hitting converts. Focus on the converts and go from there. No one is coming to the rescue with the quarantine requirements on the way in.

Ottawa’s secondary is like our kicking. Needs some work. Yeesh. Dunnigan is an excellent colour play by play man imo.

Credit where credit is due. But Richie Hall deserves mad props. He wasn’t my first choice when they brought him in and his bend but don’t break D was brutal those first few years. It wasn’t until they brought in guys like Jeffcoat, Jackson, Bighill but he has those guys firing on all cylinders game in and game out. It’s a beauty to watch.

Just having stove back will be huge. But yeah. And imagine if we re sign rose, get stove and wilson back? The league is not prepared.

Yep, best play off D ive ever seen. This year theyve kept it up. Our D in the last 9 games going back to 2019 is un real. Half a season worth of games, 12.7 points per game against our D.

What is he supposed to do? He had good coverage and the ball was behind both players. He let up and the receiver had no chance to play that ball. Terrible throw. If faj had an arm he could led the receiver and scored an easy td but his arm sucks and he left it short.

Also, mentioned on the TV broadcast, the DB didn't extend his arms on the push off which makes it rather innocuous. Had it been a more aggressive push off with arm extension, that might have changed things...

And Bighill’s INT wasn’t the usual gift wrapped ones LB’s usually get. It was a beaut.

Blink is one of the most physically talented backs I've ever seen. Either side of the border any league. He did more with bad olines and offensive systems then is believable. I blame a lot of his drop off to that. Yes he was a party animal and not a pro with his body. But he was 165 lbs between the tackles runner. That's nuts. The gc come on with Glenn we win. With out we lose. Can't put that on him and not put 01 on khari milt Cameron etc. Cornish Reynolds blink Pringle Harris. The best backs of the last 30 years. He carried our team more and longer than many guys. More than brown. Honestly then he never sees the cfl. 4.6 40. High 4.4 low 4.5 he's a career kr in the NFL.

Had a quick boo at the Riderfans website. Its safe to say that the honeymoon with Craig Dickenson and Fajardo is over and they are not too pleased with anyone on the team either. A few are openly admitting that the Bombers are a much better team. The consensus is that Dickenson has lost control of the team and that the talent on the team is very poor. And, oh yes, the referees screwed them and Suitor was cheering for the Bombers.

He always tried hard on the field. He gets a bad rep but he gave it all he had on the field. He was phenomenal

I won’t hold it against him. He carried our team for several years. He always brought his A game on the field. I don’t care what he did off of it. He has to be the most spectacular running back I’ve ever seen in the cfl in terms of making the man miss, especially in open field.
