I still live in a bit of a bubble. Kids being under 12, means that I am more careful about my interactions. I have a thought on why the Southern Health area may not be raising the numbers in Manitoba in general. There is a large part of that population that stays within that zone. They have limited movement outside the area. Secondly and more importantly my quess is a very high percentage of the people that traveled I to the area are no longer willing to do so. We are 40 minutes from Winkler and I would quess %80 to %90 of the people we know are no longer willing to go there. Personally we have switched grocery stores, equipment dealers, parts dealers, ...... to other areas. I now only go there if there is absolutely no other option. Perhaps it is slowing transmission. At least I hope so.

The party with the most seats will always get the first chance to form government. It would be political suicide for any party to come out and say they refuse to work with the minority winner right off the bat. It would be extremely damaging if the either the Libs or Cons tried grabbing power without the most seats as well. I know the Liberals are nervous, and they should be, but there is no world in which all parties in opposition would refuse to give the seat winner a chance.

I'm pretty sure that the collective egos of the Cons would not allow them to be measured in their governance, and that would lead to another election. When you promise to relax gun laws, reduce access to abortion and begin to privatize healthcare and yet not deliver, that would arouse ire among supporters. The Liberals, NDP and Bloc would stop those dead in their tracks.

Yeah legs isnt going any where. I like the way he bounced back after the illegal punt. Its probably not fair to say, but legs seems much more mentally tough than ali. Id be worried about how mourtada dealt with the misses. Medlock working with legs wouldve been great, for kicking and punting. Officially, they can be counted as soon as polls close to ensure someone with a mail-in ballot does not vote in person too. It may be that Elections Canada is not going to open them tonight, which I assume is a staffing issue. Polling suggests that mail-in ballots lean heavy to Liberals and NDP. But, I don't think that polling takes into account regional variances in voting patterns. So, each riding is likely different. Oh, and thank-goodness for independent election commissions!! I can't believe any first world country still relies on partisan commissions.
