Ryan Ballantine is an unabashed Stamps fan. He apparently didn't plan the best route to BMO Field from his hotel. He's being roasted by Argo supporters. He'll rarely write a positive article about other teams. He did no research on this. He makes himself out to be a sportswriter but he's not. That is why I seldom read 3 Down Nation anymore. It's become a Fan Boyz website.5 points -

Best trade ever - we got rid of LaPo and Nichols massive contract in exchange for N O T H I N G Didn't even have to give up a 2-for-1 Winnipeg restaurant coupon.3 points -
Don't miss Lapo's terrible play calling one bit. He did have to creativity here and there but his ice cream is only vanilla flavor. Pierce has called a phenomenal season so far and has been an upgrade to our players skill sets over Lapo.3 points

"Elizondo adds it’s a hard decision to make because of his history with Harris but says even though the struggles are not all on him he’s not getting enough out of the QB position as his starter. Feels they can attack differently with Cornelius and Prukop. #Elks #CFL" Yeah, ok.3 points

That would have been late 70's. I believe I bought it at a place called Athletes Wear off the downtown. No, there was no Bomber store. Most fans didn't wear jerseys in those days. They also weren't the highest quality. They got better as the years went by. With quality improving fans started wearing jerseys more & more. Teams soon realized that if they sold team jerseys & collectibles that fans would buy them & they could make $$$ off that stuff.3 points -

I fgeel bad for Matt Nichols. That shoulder injury he suffered was brutal. It has essentially ended his career. I don't think he'll ever play again. He's up in the booth "helping out" the RedBlacks. Hopefully, he gets into coaching as he has a lot of knowledge to pass on to younger players. Mark Nelson's knees are shot. I used to walk like that before my knee replacement.2 points -

Bottom line is Walters needs to do something because Mortada isn't good enough. 4 out of 10 with a long of 29 is suboptimal for a high school kicker.2 points -

Objectively subpar... well if that isn't polishing a turd. Objectively he has been God awful. If anyone played that badly you can be damned sure people would be wanting them cut. It's like a receiver who can't catch or a db who is never there in coverage.2 points -
“It’s frustrating. We wanted to win two out of three and if we win two out of three we put Calgary on the outside looking in. Now it’s the opposite, they’re right there on our tail now and it’s going to make every game that much more important coming down the stretch,” head coach Craig Dickenson said after Rene Paredes hit a walk-off field goal to hand the Stamps the season series." Saskatchewan not living the "1-0 this week" life. Looked ahead and expected a loss They say it but we live it.2 points

The only hope America has of surviving as a nation is if their Department of Justice starts aggressively prosecuting Trump and every one of the GOP and all those involved in the attempted coup. The January 6th incident was a trial run and those involved in organizing are still free. They are organizing subversion at the school board, civic and state levels to challenge any elections result they lose and to disqualify as many Democratic voters as possible.2 points -

So we have 16 points now. Calgary and BC can tie us in points and be ahead of us in the standings provided they win the season series. Saskatchewan and every Eastern team needs to get to 17 points minimum to pass us. Edmonton and Ottawa already cannot pass us based on the tiebreaking rules. So, although they have not mathematically clinched a crossover playoff spot yet, for the Bombers to miss the playoffs ALL of the the following needs to happen: - Bombers lose every game from here on out, including to Calgary by 3 or more points and to BC by 22 or more points. - Edmonton loses every game from here on out - Ottawa loses every game from here on out - Other than games involving Winnipeg, Edmonton, or Ottawa, the remaining 6 teams must all get exactly these records in games against each other for all of them to finish ahead of Winnipeg: Sask: 1-1-1 Cal: 2-1 BC: 2-2 Tor: 1-2-1 Ham: 2-1-1 Mtl: 0-1-1 The odds of all of that happening are so small that I cannot compute it To simplify things, no matter what else happens, if the Bombers win one more game they clinch a West playoff spot. Win 2 and they clinch a home playoff date. If one of those two wins is against BC, or even if they lose to BC by 20 points or less but still win 2 games, they will finish number 1 in the West. So they can clinch top spot in the West within 2 weeks.2 points -

Saw it live from the upper deck, he was wide open before Collaros even rolled out. If he had seen Adams, it was an easy pitch and catch. Yes, Adams would have had to make the catch, but it's not very often that a receiver drops one like that.2 points

I believe this is a huge reason behind "stop polluting" initiatives. Industry successfully pushed responsibility onto the public. Obviously consumers can vote with their dollars, but this doesn't happen enough to have a big effect - look at the situation we're in now. Most people are obsessed with buying at the lowest possible price, rather than limiting consumption and voting with dollars. Governments embrace this by offering incentives to big corporations for under the guise of employment benefits. Corporations love this power and "give back" to the community through initiatives that remove their responsibility and place it in the hands of the consumer, often while getting further tax incentives or straight up government grants.2 points

What success did Maier have? 16 points is not a successful offensive game. Calgary's defence played lights out against us. No love for Tom Europe? I kid... Mo Kelly at S was a physical guy as well.1 point

A good DB makes a great receiver coach. Who better to help receivers exploit what DB's see and do...and how to attack them. Generally at the pro level that coach is just augmenting what they should already know about catching a ball..any DB knows all the routes in the receiving tree and how to best defend them so parlaying that to receivers is a benefit...plus as stated...is an entry level position as well..1 point -

Don't get me wrong... I agree that it's far more satisfying than the 2011 Swag team or, especially, the 2013/2005 laughing stock... it's just an odd feeling... I'm not old enough to remember the 80s... closest thing I've seen to this in my lifetime is 2001... but even that year the second and third (and fifth 😜) place teams felt closer to the Bombers... this year it feels like no one is close...1 point
