I did, but then I randomly happened upon a person singing it. They sang it as if they knew me, in all my dark despair. I felt she found my song and read it all out loud! Like go on and just tell my whole life, with this song. But then the fugees stole it and I didnt care any more. Thats just evil, we cant compare any thing to that. They also missed the opportunity to have thiadric hansen go on stage and take them all out with 1 hit. Then he could yell, "There can be only 1!" and kick in some queen tunes. OK ok enough tired references ill show my self out.4 points -

I remember they used to do Tae Kwan Do shows at half time in the 80's. These guys in full on robes kicking their way all the way across the field. I remember one game against BC it was pouring rain and those guys still went out there and kicked their hearts out. I remember I had mad respect for that.4 points -

If your question is how far should be look into serial rapists and child molesters, then the answer is that I hope these reporters never stop digging. Everyone should face these tough questions. The players and coaches on the Chicago teams need to state their case and called out for obvious lies. The culture is sick and broken when we are protecting the abusers and not the abused. This is how you try to change it and make people less likely to cover things up next time a pervert sneaks his way into a locker room.4 points -

Just one more thing regarding sexual abuse. When I coached football, I was a bantam HC here in Calgary. This was back in 2003-2005. I instigated a team rule at practice or games that any coach or volunteer that needed to take a player back to our locker room to treat an injury or fix an equipment problem with a player couldn't do it alone. At least 2 adults always had to be present at all times when a player went back. To protect not only the player but the volunteers or coaches themselves.3 points -

Okay, so the Riders were founded in 1910 that means if they don't win another Grey Cup by 2026, they will average one Grey Cup every (116 years / 4 Grey Cups) = 29 years. Meaning they would average our longest Grey Cup drought for each championship they have ever won. In contrast, for the Bombers to achieve this average years per Championship, we would have to not win another Grey Cup from now until 22493 points -
But the CFL has also made rule changes to increase scoring - yet scoring keeps decreasing. Lower than in the “glory days” where defences could do whatever the hell they wanted and concussions prevailed. This is an issue. Despite the fact that is hardcore fans, who talk on message boards in our free time and support the league no matter what, offence drives interest. Quarterbacks who dominate become the face of teams/leagues. It’s important.3 points
-
This is not about Collaros. This is about the entire league. I’m sorry if I upset everyone by using Zach as an example - I did not mean that he wasn’t deserving - simply that his numbers shouldn’t be this far ahead of the rest of the field. I’m questioning what’s wrong with everyone else - not Zach.3 points
-
But those numbers match up well against the last two QBs to win MOP and two of the best QBs of their era. Why is it his fault he is playing way better than everyone else? I am not interested in what the NFL has done to make playing Defence borderline impossible. I like defence.3 points

Yea this starts at the grassroots level and changing certain approaches for the better. Not to say that it doesn't happen in other sports because it obviously does but being a parent of two student athletes over the years I rarely heard anything positive said about the hockey culture unless of course it's coming from 'that' guy.2 points -

This seems to take everything that Chevy says at face value...while taking Kyle Beach's account with a grain of salt.2 points
-
I'm sorry man, I don't buy what you're selling. Chevy was not some low-level AHL gm. He was the Assistant General Manager. He was the senior management team. If he is telling the "truth", it means he was aware while Aldrich groped an intern after this was reported, was aware while Aldrich got his day with the Stanley Cup, was aware when Aldrich took other jobs, was aware when Aldrich volunteered at a high school. Your best case is that he held his hands over his ears and said I don't want to know. That is not a person I deem qualified to be an NHL GM where he might have to face this situation again.2 points

I'm fine with a very long list. My focus on Chevy has more to do with his role with the Jets on a Jets discussion board than me saying he's solely to blame. Chevy wasn't (as some suggest) some low rung shlub. His position with the Hawks was the reason he became the GM of the Jets. He works side by side with a guy who was a close associate of Graham James - no secret in the hockey world. Maybe we need to argue about whether Chevy has a conscience. Can't think that a guy who sees Zinger on a regular basis hasn't thought about Kyle Beach on dozens of occasions. He was in a position of leadership. A true leader is someone who does the right thing, even when it is the difficult thing.2 points

I think the CFL was hoping that Globals would be able to pick up the slack left by the NFL taking and keeping more players. Globals basically give each team an extra DI and they can play in US colleges before the CFL. GCn20's right about the OL situation and that makes the QB situation look even worse. Give Reilly time and he's still got the goods to produce big offensive numbers. Teams still want to use the tried and true 'use your Canadians on the OL', but it isn't working any more. DL's are eating them alive, which leads to tons of short dump passes and very few deep balls. 3 Import OL's make sense, but then teams need to be able to find starting level NI's at other spots. I know this is unpopular but maybe the answer is 1 more starting import and 1 less starting Canadian. No training camp and short work days can be fixed in the next contract and those changes should have a positive effect on the game. I hope the players association agrees. If the CFL wants to get fans more attached to the teams, then it needs to reduce the amount of player turnover. The 1 year contracts are good for players who have a good year and get an NFL look. Bring back the NFL window and 2 year minimum contracts and have the teams hold the CFL rights to the player if they come back to the CFL and still have a year left on their contract.2 points

Confusing investigative reporting with "going after someone" is a disservice to the core of journalistic practises. We need more investigative, long-form journalism - not less.2 points -
Remember a couple years ago when if a DB sneezed too hard in the general direction of a WR PI was called and nearly all the PI challenges were won by offensive teams? I think the defensive / offensive parity is really good right now rule wise. If any thing you could see more offensive PI, and spearing on offensive players, not to mention a lot more holding calls on OL. The issue making offense lag this year is teams (out side of wpg) have failed to develop good OLs, and we are hitting an age wall with the previous block of good and great QBs. Its a transition period where in maybe just 2 years every qb who has been top tier or even good starter tier will be gone. The "next guys" like mbt, fajardo, vaj, and evans hit the sophomore wall HARD. Some of them were getting away with smoke and mirrors and its been exposed. Some have battled health issues, others consistency. Next year we will see who if any are for real. But they also have the next wave of guys nipping at their heels. With how long the old guard was in the league, teams moved far away from balanced offenses. Every team is scratching and clawing at the same FA wrs every year, and hoping signing a single OL will fix their whole OL. Macadoo did a really good job in ssk giving fajardo a simple playbook he could execute. But other wise teams have failed to adapt their offenses to fit young QBs and groom them properly. The league cant come down on defenses and make it easier on the offense for the failings of teams to develop and run their offenses.2 points

Sakic was a teenager responsible for playing hockey. Chevy was an adult, high level executive and in a position to do something. There's a big difference in their relative roles and responsibilites. Big difference between the 80s and 2010s in terms of knowledge about sexual assault too.2 points -
