HH to Mike O'Shea for burning that timeout in the 1st quarter. We had too many men on the field. The play right after was the botched snap to the MTL punter. That timeout turned what would have been a penalty sustaining a MTL drive into a turnover for the Bombers ST. It's the little things.

Guys, guys, everyone just settle down now. We shouldnt be too happy about this win. According to posters at riderfans the refs handed us the game with a bunch of missed/non calls against us. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Demski sweep, Olivera run gets it first down at Al's 15 yard line.. Demski takes pitch outside, cuts inside all the way to endzone. TD! Deep in Bomber end, Olivera fumbles......Als lineman scoops it up... ....and rolls down the sideline for the TD. Egads! 7-7 Grant nice return to the 45.... 2 incomplete passes has the Blue punting.. Als D line getting some pretty good pressure on Zac... Harris takes a shot, but completes sideline pass But the receiver called for PI...strangely the Als challenge... ....on a 20 yard play, but gets the call overturned..... Harris tries to roll out....but smothered by Kongbo..... Zac finds Lawler and Wolt for first downs Als called for PI....ball on their 25 Nice one handed catch by Demski..gets it to the 15 Zac under pressure throws incomplete... Castillo pops 22 yd FG....10-7 for the Blue Harris runs for his life and 5 yards.... ....then is surrounded by Bombers.... sacked by Thomas Harris pressured and has arm hit by Jeffcoat.... Zac pressured but finds Oliveria on sideline.... .....but holding penalty pushes the Blue back Castillo ...37 yd attempt....misses it! 10 points now given away.... Harris throws down the middle for big 30 yd gain.... Stambeck sweeps...gets to the edge and turns corner.... ....rolling for another 35 yards....down to Blue 15 Harris throws square out into end zone....receiver open. Just like that...TD.....fans somewhat in a state of shock.......14-11 Als Pass to Demski...couple of Augustine runs...then pass to Lawler... ....has the ball on Als 25. Two incompletes brings on Castillo.... ....who hits 35 yd FG to tie up this game.....14-14 Halftime.....and this one is in doubt. Harris lays one up long...ball caught over Alford for big gain.. Stamback rumbles down to the Bomber 10 Harris looks one way, throws back door.... to wide open guy in end zone Another TD on our D. 70 yards just like that . 21-14 Als Als need this game more than the Bombers, and playing like it... ZC throws a couple of incomplete passes....punt. Bomber O not looking very sharp...at this point.... Wilson stuffs run play....Harris then feels heat and dumps it.... Zac hits Lawler and Olivera for first downs.... ...but tic tak roughing penalty....pushes us back ZC barely avoids sack.....Als still bringing some pretty good heat. The lack of finish on O.....has the crowd pretty subdued, at this point.... Als 2 and out.....both teams stalling on offense.... Zac sideline pass to Adams and another completion to Demski..... ZAC finds Woltman on hook pattern....who turns around and.... ....finds no one in front of him....cuts inside and rumbles to the end zone!! XP makes it 21-21...back to square one.... Harris drops back and has a Stove fall on him - sack Zac finds Lawler on 2nd down.....then some play action.... ...and has Lawler wide open down the sideline all the way to the 15 Zac quick one to Bailey down to the 2..... McGuire plunges in for the TD 28-21 Bombers An 85 yard drive.....that is more like it.... Als get a couple of first downs.....until Stambeck is stuffed... ....and Wilson hammers Harris on an incomplete.... Grant catches punt and for at least the 2nd time...no yards missed.... Zac is sacked....then 2nd down pass knocked down... Castillo in for 48 yd attempt.....but Bombers called for procedure... Blue O still suffering from some lack of finish.... Harris's 2nd down pass knocked down...but "phantom" PI on Taylor Harris is then sacked by Thomas....Weineke on screen clobbered by Bighill.... 3 minutes left. Can the Blue grind this one out? Harris harassed on overthrow.....then has pocket collapse on another.... 3rd and 8...Als in to punt...but Bombers offside. Now 3rd and 3.... ....and the Larks are going for it. Harris gets nervous in the service.... ...and overthrows it - right to Bighill! Turnover! 2 runs fall short....Castillo in for huge 47 yarder....and he hits it! 31-21 Bombers. All that is left is preserving the 4th Q D record..... Als have one more shot with 1:18 left. Harris throws for first down. Harris throws to sideline....but Alford jumps the pattern. INT!! The 4th quarter streak is alive. The Als are dead. Crowd is standing and paying tribute to undefeated team at home. I am now sitting and drinking...in tribute to 7-0 team at home.

All you guys talking about Rose shutting down the leagues top receiver... I didn't realize he was covering Kenny "The King" Lawler....

That all to common hip injury..it's been a pandemic this yr... everyone has multiple hip ailments if u havnt noticed haha I bet Hardrick plays next week tho

There is absolutely no need to panic. Great teams blow other teams out & they find ways to win the close ones. Especially coming from behind the way we did. We need to play these close game to give the team confidence that they can win when adversity strikes. Not just the 30-3 or 45-0 games. I'm glad the team had to work to win this one.

The Als come to town with a chip on their shoulders yapping they were better than us. To their credit, they punched us in the mouth a bit. Then refuse to lie down & actually went ahead briefly in the game. We mount a comeback & smack the tar out of the Alouettes in the second half. By the time the game is in the fourth quarter & we go ahead the end really isn't in doubt even though we just have a 7 point lead. The hit on Jake Weineke in the 4th quarter by Bighill & 2 late interceptions by Alford & Biggie just drove the final nails in the Als coffin. The Als just couldn't run with us physically & we pulled away. We got behind & faced adversity & came back to win. We really needed this game to prep for the playoffs.

I didn't think so, thought the crowd was just really into it. I also heard a lot of noise coming from the corner where there was a large group of military. They were having a good time over there.

Alford came from about 10 yards away on that pick. Excellent read and timing. That was the "baiting" that Nick Marshall gets so much credit for.

Just watched the replay and don't see how that call was overturned. As for MODP, Biggie, Alexander, Jefferson, Jeffcoat could all get the nod and I'd be like yep.

But we do constantly fire the cannon off to make it "'foggy" at IGF.

He was running some sprints on the sidelines, must have gotten a little nicked and was trying to convince someone to let him back in. Sure would like to know Hardrick’s injury. With the effort he puts in to cheering on the sidelines I can’t fathom that he isn’t good to play.

If I had a vote, it would go to Jeffcoat. That motor never stops and he plays very disciplined ball.

I for one am worried about Patrick Levels and how he'll sleep tonight after losing to a team that the Als are better than. So does Tony Washington claim he did his job tonight since the sacks came mainly from the inside?

I love the fact that right out of the gate in the 3rd quarter- the Al's came out and punched the bombers right in the freaking choppers. Bombers got up slowly and performed their version of Hogan's "Hulking up" and just shut it down for the last 27 minutes. Good to see that kind of response- more so in a game that does not impact the standings what so ever... Bomber Nation- we're in good hands.

Been thinking about it..... Als were that average dude who "shoots their shot", asking out the hot chick that is way outta their league..... They came out and gave it their best, but in the end, it wasn't enough.

Some one needs to tell our big wrs it's OK to straight up run into a db arm out pancake em and make a catch. The offense will be un stopable

Please someone explain the overturned call? We were gobsmacked in the stands that the Als challenged. And, then they won? We saw it in front of us and knew the call was coming. They showed one replay where Rose clearly gets pushed and falls down. How did TSN justify the "no PI" call?

The fact that they called it, and then over turned it on review... what is the standard for offensive PI?

Yep we’re going to have to get used to everyone playing their best game against us. Everyone has something to prove against the top dog. We’ve mostly answered the bell though.

The way this team is built - almost impossible to pick 3. In no particular order: Lawler - the go-to clutch option for Zac Thomas - great motor, 2 sacks Bighill - brings it every game Jeffcoat - brings it every game Rose - seamless re-entry back into the league Collaros - faced more pressure than usual, but got it done Demski - providing big plays every week

Bradbury had a nice game, 280 yards/2 TDs and no interceptions.

Oh how about Hm to Rose in his first start shutting down the leagues top receiver and holding him to 3 catches for 44 yards and that one catch for the majority of the yards very well could/should have been Offensive PI.

grant has done a tremendous job getting after it catching every thing and making some good gains tnite.

This is giving me deja vu - playing us just like the Argos.

Any team that will commit to the run is dangerous to us. Calgary, Montreal, Toronto are the three other contenders IMO.
