Stove was key...but also Wilson...highly underated around the league and even here..he allows us to do so much more defensively when he is playing...his addition back in lineup was huge. Correct me if I am wrong but we have basically shut down Sask ability to get touchdowns this year...before we even added Wilson..Stove and Rose into the lineup.. and now we have more experienced DB's in Alford and Nichols from the start of the season...to the point that Jones is our 6th man..I like our chances...

Happy to see him flourish after his early struggles had many wanting to cut him.

Just to note Buck has had to integrate zero new starters into his offence after inheriting a lineup that just won the G.C.. I can't think of another first year O.C. that's ever been dealt such a fortunate hand.

I remember on the news just before the border reopened they talked to someone from the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce. They were itching to welcome back Canadians (and their wallets) but mentioned that they didn't have any public health measures in place so they recommended masking up while there because of their infection rate. Their state tourism slogan should be "Welcome to North Dakota: We'll trade you your money for COVID".

So ........I wonder if he thinks people from Winkler should stay out of the ICUs in the province. Because I don't think Boundry Trails has one. I know dozens of people ( including myself ) who no longer do business in Winkler. We use other towns and cities including Winnipeg. One of the things I have noticed in Winnipeg is things have pretty much returned to normal. You wear your mask, distance when you can and flash your vax passport when asked. No big deal. It's as close to normal as could be expected.

I received two tickets and now I'm going to give away my other two tickets. Here's the catch. One of the tickets I have is a youth ticket... So you'll need to bring someone under the age of 15. Still a Lawler follower but as this year has gone on I've become much more of a Baily Booster. So dynamic for a big strong guy.

I think Buck has done a great job balancing the offense. He could have just relied on Harris like Lapo did in 2019 but Buck made the decision to develop a passing game. I'm not an X's and O's guy but it seems that a lot of our passing plays are built on the fact that we have a really good o line. Less slants. More pushing the ball down the field. Fits Collaros really well too. And somehow (partly Collaros, partly the scheme) the risk of interceptions seems low too.

How Many games has Andrew harris missed? He's had to integrate 2 different rbs and a bunch of wrs for demski and adams. He's had to start a back up qb with no experience and a game with 3rd string ol. The offense of 2019 was also not based around collaros and his skill set. The offense this year is heavily adjusted to collaros. The 2019 offense struggled a lot it relied on the best kicker ever and a great d to win. He's taken an offense that for years was the worst at going 2 and out overly reliant on pounding Harris into the ground and none stop check downs. Buck took that and had the leagues leading passer the highest scoring offense with the most explosion plays. Bill bellicheck says that luck is the residue of hard work.

However we can just look at Collaros in Saskatchewan and see that it's not just having the qb. You gotta put the guy in a situation to succeed and I feel that Pierce has done that very well for Collaros. He still has some growing to do as an offensive coordinator but as far as year one goes I would call it a big success.

Either way the CFL looks like an absolute joke with this. This is a slap in the face to Ja’gared Davis, to Kenny Stafford, to Brendan Labatte, to any other players who have sacrificed because of these rules and to literally every other team in the CFL. The rules to begin with were stupid. There’s no disputing that. The idea that MBT can’t go to a Raptors game but Willie Jefferson can do promotional appearances at a car dealership is a bad one. But they’re still the rules. To change them now is embarrassing and honestly, as much as Arash gets annoying sometimes with his constantly negative stance towards Ambrosie, he’s not far off the mark. Ambrosie is an absolute joke of a commissioner, easily the worst professional sports commissioner of my lifetime and the league will be better off once he’s gone.

Can I re-use my offensive post and re-direct it at these two clowns instead? Always ready to pounce and rip the league. How about pointing out all the flaws of their precious MLSE and their complete mismanagement of the Argos and this COVID breach situation? Oh no, because they want so badly for that corporation to get an NFL sniff and cover the “big league” that they ignore the utter disregard for any kind of money or marketing invested in the team they own to build a fan base, and throw stones at the CFL instead. I think the Toronto games were also really early in the season when the offense was still figuring itself out a bit.

Bailey is a made man simply because of his statement to fans post grey cup " we didn't just win, we whipped their ass! And we knew we were going to do it!"

The QBs that have played best against us this year were Maier and Arbuckle. Neither we have to see for the rest of the year. I'm good with that.

What I like about Buck, is he tries to make the system fit for the players he has and does less of trying to fit players into his system. I think the reverse is true for Lapo. Lapo has a great system but it needs certain type of key cogs to make it work.

Starting with OL. The have to be considered one of the all - time best OLs in the CFL.

3 Things stuck out for for me; 1. certainly not a lot of Canadians making that trip still. Border crossing were relatively quick and easy, especially considering people haven't ben able to do it for like 18+ months. Not many cars with MB license plates in any of the parking lots 2. Made me appreciate the collective effort we've done. Yeah, south MB is a shitshow, it hasn't been remotely perfect anywhere, but it's light years beyond what they're doing collectively and as a whole. Also gave me a perspective of how they got to where they are at as opposed to us 3. definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone that values taking precautions. I honestly feel like an idiot for even going for a few hours and doing everything I normally do to protect myself and others.

Well story time; Went to Grand Forks today (yes we had the app) and it's gonna be a while before we do that again! Had a couple packages to pick up in Pembina and we figured go a bit further have some lunch, shop, make a day of it. You'd never know we were still in a pandemic, 95% of people unmasked, most masked elderly. People walking around without any care, dirty looks we got from people, lack of measures in place, zero distancing. I can't recall the last time I felt that uncomfortable and unsettled.

Great coaches need great qbs. It's not Buck's fault LaPo took the HC job with the RedBlacks. Buck was dealt a great hand having Zach Collaros as his guy & he took advantage of it. Just like all the great coaches mentioned. That's my take, anyway. Just sayin'. Not trying to lecture.

Thats kinda a bit wrong..Lapo even with ZC still relied and had the check down and dump off's to the RB's as his bread and butter...I doubt our RB's have had 30 catches total all year...total different philosophy
