Ok but what I quoted was you saying the dominance started when collaros took over... just pointing out that Nichols too had the team positioned in first place at the time of his injury. At least try and keep your arguments straight.5 points -

I came across this quote today in the Guardian. It was in reference to the Epstein/Maxwell/ Prince Andrew affair but I feel it holds true for Trump, many other Trump style politicians , many of today's elite rich , ....... ” Could it be that when you grow up in a tiny bubble of rich, protected, privileged, narcissist- and sociopath-heavy elitists, certain human traits such as empathy, conscience and morality are not as fully nurtured as they might be? Discuss over champagne and little people’s tears.5 points -

Sask seems content to build from the outside in (receivers, d-backs, defensive ends are their biggest strengths and salary cap focus). Bombers built their championship teams from the inside out (o and d-lines, and up the middle with QB, RB, MLB, and safety all the league’s best, and a solid centre and powerful run stuffer at DT). I much prefer our model.5 points -

I don't know what Streveler has done that makes people think he's a viable #1 in the CFL.... I absolutely love the guy, as much as anyone, but he's never shown anything that proves he can be a #1. He's a complimentary piece, but not the main guy.4 points -

Her laser-focus is too busy promoting Crown Royal. Check the thread, some of the replies are golden. The replies noting that CR alcohol content are twice her approval rating are my favourite. Apparently people are a little disappointed she would post this on a day where 20 Covid deaths were announced while they evaluate how things will play out.4 points

Complete horseshit that they give him that 2nd loss too. He was winning the game until Dru Brown went in and lost it. Collaros is 17-1 as a bomber.4 points

Mechanics aside, i really think people are letting his devastating running ability and his legendary Grey Cup celebrating blur their memory about Streveler. Even after a couple of seasons with us he was still prone to horrendous decisions and brain farts in the passing game, often forcing throws and flat out missing wide open guys. People forget he started 7 games in a row during the latter part of 2019 and had a TD/INT ratio of 7-11, throwing multiple INT's in 5 of 7 games. His poor decision making followed him to Arizona where he was ultimately released after being outperformed by 35 year old journeyman Colt McCoy?!? He's shown flashes but is wayyyyyy too inconsistent to be trusted as a starter. Like Noeller said, i love the guy but he is not a #1 QB in any league.3 points -
Rider's sign one of our scrap heaped O-lineman...NaTay Rogers.....maybe hoping to pull a reverse Hardrick...lol....mind u..he is probably better than any of the lineman they had last year, so they just improved3 points

Agree. I used to call him a "gimmick qb". I just think he's an absolute run first qb. Tough as nails & fires everyone up. He makes plays & wins with his legs but not his arm. Give him a package of run/short pass plays he shines. Give him the entire playbook & he struggles.2 points -
actually, most americans, either party, want what Bernie stands for. single payer health care for example. but they wont get anything. Americans are fenced in by corruption. Every where you look, it's there in plain sight. There are no moves to the the good possible any more cause the net that has been built over the last thirty or forty years is far too comprehensive. municipal, state, national government, press, military, police, judiciary, church, education, all bases are covered by the corrupt. Pretty frightening what horrors their supreme court is going to spew over the next few years2 points

that's a HUGE drop off from Collaros to Strev, IMO..... I like that he'd have a good handle on our offense (in theory), but I still don't trust him as a full time starter.2 points

I would never pay Streveler as a full time starter, and I don't think he comes back to the CFL to be a gimmick guy making back-up QB money, so I'm not sure what exactly you do with a guy like that. If there was a way they could afford both Collaros and Strev as back-up gimmick guy, I would be over the moon......but that seems impossible.2 points -

Just re-watched the game... there is one missed call that keeps bugging the **** outta me: With 27 seconds left in the half... Ciraco MUGS Rose and springs Don Jackson for a 36 yard gain to end up on the Bomber's 10 yard line and then score a major going into half-time. Still bugs the **** out of me. Ah well- there is always this:2 points -
And Bishop was 12 - 1 or whatever that one season he was so while QB is greatly important it doesn't completely translate in why a team is up and above compared to middle of the road. Look how terrible Collaros was in Saskatchewan playing behind a crap o-line and a crap system. Far more intangibles involved then simply a QB makes or breaks how good the O runs. Collaros was a cherry on the top, but also factor in some of the guys were new to our system and in 2021 after having time to develop they blossomed and also raised the bar on how good our O works (see: Bailey/Lawler) Nichols also was completely shot even in 2018 so it's a bit unfair to use him as a level to compare with. 2018/2019 Nichols is so far down in the ability to perform that guys like Masoli and Harris are light years ahead of being able to play QB. Long story short..... Zach is awesome.... if he leaves for whatever reason.... if we were to plug in a Harris/Masoli/Arbuckle/MBT to replace him... our O still would be formidable and those QB's would have the tools to also play at an optimal level.2 points

Bolded the ones that are signed for next year that you had in Italics Nichols is but if he gets a NFL shot they would release him.2 points

He's gonna run some ones offense one day. Leonard is one of the all time great at dodging tests. Up there with Wanderlei silva slipping out the window and running down the street half naked. The Jeff part 2 really stepped up in 21. He played some of the most dominant defensive games league wide last year. He's just coming into his peak too. Saw on 3dn the weekly gossip piece said they think Jones will dump both Boateng and Betts this off season. If he doesnt try to bring them back it should be a huge red flag to the elk brass. Their ni talent is already pencil thin they can't just replace a starter that easy.2 points

I don't recall if he's a FA or not but would there be any interest in Banks at a lower pay? I know he'll be 34 but he still has some speed and seems fairly reliable, just an idea if Lawler buggers off and we don't acquire a player like Burnham to replace. Lucky would've been nice as he's a burner but not saying I still wouldn't be happier than **** if Lawler signed back here.2 points -
Wasn't he paid in the top range of WR last year? I can't see him getting a bump of any significant money...also looked horrible last yr...and the attitude is a huge red flag for me...and the age Duke will want top dollar...and combined with the Faj joke...and PED Leonard's 200k+...and i sure Shaqs higher salary not enough there to rebuild an online ..especially when I need some quality dlineman...and linebackers as well...nobody signing there for discounts like in wpg...we got Jeffcoat at 30k less than PED Leonard ...that in itself is funny as Jefffcoat is more of a difference maker..and just flat out better2 points

Articles and complaints about stuff like this drive me crazy. 5G wouldn't be the issue, the frequencies that they may be using to deploy parts of the 5G networks could be, but the technology itself isn't the problem.2 points
