Absolute worse case scenario will have one of the Canadian tailbacks back, and Borsa backing him up...we will be okay there with whatever American receivers we land, and truly think 2 of the 3 will be back in some combination. Defensive line is missing Stove and Kongbo at moment, as certain Thiadric will be back....If BA is shelved for a while it's a bonus...hide his salary and re-up Stove, and maybe if we dont over spend on WR's give Boateng a look in lieu of Kongbo....he'd be a sweet rotation with the Jeff's....If we can get Rose, Darby and Jones back we be looking really good....2 of the 3...still damn good...gonna be an interesting free agency for sure, but getting themeat and potatoes of our lines back was huge.....especially if we get a Stove to cook them on

I think it would be very helpful if Trudeau, Singh , the current leader of the Bloc and all the sane premiers and MPs got together and posted a video and audio recording condemning the blockades and related criminal actions along with a commitment to vigorously prosecute everyone who crosses the legal line. If we sign Lawler then we probably subtract 2 other starting players. One could be Alexander. I think we'd suffer more of a loss with BA gone & Lawler signed. We weren't a GC championship D until he moved to safety.

Darby is the play. Moncreif is just a bigger name all things considered. Darby did a phenomenal job.

I don't see the big deal about BC Lions owner having big money.... doesn't every team still need to fit under a salary cap? If you are going to blow the cap why would you waste it on a guy who would assumingly be the #3 receiver on your team after Burnham and Whitehead? Makes no sense either way.

I think there are two major differences between protests between pipelines, BLM, environmental/indigenous causes and what is happening here is: 1) This is largely a protest fueled by misinformation. 2) This is largely a protest selfish in nature in that the participants are unhappy with the consequences of their choices and don't believe they should have to face consequences. These are tendencies, so I'm sure there are actors in left-leaning protests that are truly misinformed, just as I'm sure there are some in this protest that are fully vaccinated and understand the impacts on our healthcare system, but genuinely concerned about state power. It is an interesting observation that the roles are largely reversed however.

totally not the same thing...but whatevs....who are all the guys with these big paying off-season jobs?...that make up for their football pay?...If they working a job outside of football...putting in the time and effort there, and paid for it, its no different than u...me....the tree working multiple jobs.....Standard CFL contract with housing allowance in it is cut and dried....and if a "booster" is paying housing...and that housing money is basically pocket money...yup thats skirting the sms....

200K for Lucky 165K for Burnham 250K for Lawler I guess they are "saving" with Rourke being on a somewhat friendly deal right now but the amount of money they'd have locked up in three receivers without ever addressing their offensive line (or any other aspect of their team) is questionable. It's great to have guys to catch the ball but if the guy throwing it to them is getting killed every play, I'm not sure how sustainable that is.

I'd like to know how many of these people at the " truckers protest " are actually truckers. Even the ones who actually drove trucks. A good percentage ,maybe half of farms have semis now, or often multiple semis. That doesn't make them truckers. A trucker is someone who makes his living trucking. I have my class 1 and drove trucks both in construction and farming but I'm not a trucker.

I'm taking Bailey right off the bat because he's almost a guarantee and then I'd look at Jake but this past season really shot his value up high or we just out faith into Danny Mac and scouts and we should be rather comfortable with that.

Darby in my opinion is a must sign....guy can play safety or halfback at an all-star level, as well as was a top notch sam...dude is flat out good and all about team and community....perfect Bomber material If we to lose him, then yeah I could see a stab at Moncreif, but if Maston is fully healed which I hear he is and will be 100 percent for camp them we have the same type of player, cheaper, and our defence, the presence of him, Darby or Moncreif would see same results. That extra money Moncreif would command be better spent going to Rose, or one of the receivers...or Stove for that matter Don't see us letting Couture walk, and he would stay here for less, unless someone throws a stupid Chungh deal at him...which I can't see.
