  1. many other less severe, and almost accidental hits to a head via a shld, and forearm has been called in my opinion way too often, how this hit where it was total intent to smack the guy in the head was missed is almost laughable....he totally intended to do what he did, and the positin of Schoen, and the fact he was fumbling...or even ctaching the ball is irrelevant....should have been a penalty....plain and simple....

  2. the manner in which they won is absolutely HUGE. Especially for the young kids in the crowd. They don't quite understand the ins and outs of football...but they absolutely understand TDs! BC hit a grand slam in basically every possible way last week.

  3. I don’t know why you keep on dying on this hill the defender decided to use his helmet to target a defense less receiver and hit him helmet to helmet, he was already losing control of the ball when the first tackler bumped him, there was no need to target the head, these hits have been called pretty consistently for the last several years in both the NFL and the CFL. Like it or not this isn’t the 80’s or 90’s player safety is important and reckless hits have no part in the game.

  6. Let me be clear, Suitor would still be terrible at his job even if he was not a Rider Homer. Comments such as "In the CFL, RB need to pick up the blitzer" being an example of the stupidity that comes out of his mouth. Fawning over a singer during the third quarter of a Grey Cup game is another.

  7. I’m hoping maybe we can get Augustine some more touches this game. With his speed it could definitely benefit us, especially with our o-line taking some time to gel and play up to their high standards.

  9. There seems to be ...let's say, a 'little uneveness' in officiating in the games played so far....Fajardo should have definitely sat for 3 plays....if anything to make sure he hadn't sustained a more serious injury.....The guy was writhing on the ground, for cripes sake, after that late hit ...The hit on Schoen was definitely a missed call and could have resulted in a serious injury...Those were blatant misses and there were a few more borderline calls missed....I know you can't expect perfection out of the refs. but for cripes sake, missing the obvious is not acceptable

Hello everyone. Fan from your favorite brother down below(Or not as the case may be). Only been a fan for a couple years now and nothing special about how I became one; Needed a football fix so started watching CFL games via ESPN Plus and liked the Blue Bombers uniforms and some of their players the best. As an American also follow the NFL of course and the Titans are my team down here. Work with high school students(Though they never seem to listen) and my dream is to become a real life James Bond(Or at least get all the women like he does). Thanks for having me and I promise to try and cut down on any Americanisms(Is that a word?). Cheers.

  11. Ultimately it doesn’t matter he was fumbling and in a vulnerable position there was no need to target the head, that’s a 15 yard penalty in today’s game, I’ve seen a lot less called for the exact same thing. Like it or not player safety is a big focus.

  15. Yeah once Jeffcoat is back we should be fine, with one of the rooks rotating in, and dependent on how we structure the roster, an interior with Jake/Sayles/Lawson and Walker or whomever the other dline guy will be it should be just fine. Same with secondary, Rose in interview said he was trying to much and forcing plays trying to make the INT...and should have just let play come to him...he will be fine, and Glass was fine as well...got beat on a deep corner, but was a great throw, and guys get beat...its gonna happen....they clean up the safety play and things will look way different. The LB's were great and will get better and had no issues in their play....so this second game should be the better...true barometer of how things are...heck we sucked and gave up only 17 points....only 6 in second half....

  18. I’m not talking about Collaros. In fact even though it’s normally called on QB’s I could live with out the penalty because at least he was on the way down and it looked accidental. However the Ottawa defender led with his head, Shoen had his neck exposed looking down as he was lost the ball the the defender decided to light him up, to me that’s a clear and cut 15 yard un necessary roughness penalty at the very least not to mention he’s a punk for leading with his helmet anyways, you’re taught at a young age not to use your head in tackling so I’m not sure why you’re trying to argue about this.

  19. I don't think the preseason qualifies. https://nflpa.com/active-players/faq/what-is-a-credited-season-and-what-does-it-mean-to-be-vested What is a Credited Season and what does it mean to be vested? Generally, you earn a credited season if you are on the active, inactive, IR or PUP roster for three or more regular or post-season NFL games. You also earn a Credited Season if you are released injured and receive an injury settlement or grievance for the equivalent of 3 or more regular season games.

  22. Great trade for the Als....and typical Jones roster moves in Edm with Wilder getting the play before Fletcher, as I think Fletcher was/is the better back with more upside, but Wilder makes Jones feel all warm and giddy

  23. Maybe they aren't happy with Prukop. Between his FG hold he botched and the way he runs short yardage, it can't hurt to have another option. Mancuso saw no pre-season action so we have no idea what he brings to the table yet.

  24. Despite the stats you really hit the nail on the head - Despite letting Ottawa get some yards the D only gave up 9 points over 3/4 of the game (1 field goal per quarter after the 1st). It wasn't like our offense was dominating the time of possession to make it easy on the D either.

Of course there's crickets from him on the crypto implosion front. Quelle surprise. He's now more upset about a Liberal MP swearing: But at least he never greeted, shook hands, or bought donuts for "freedom loving patriots" who waved F*ck Trudeau flags just a few months ago. He's certainly not a massive ******* hypocrite. Chazz yup...played on the edge and was an irritant...and yes at times took liberties....but so did I so guess thats why I like him....that being said he is knowledgeable and calls it for what it is....he just needs more polish I still think if the CFL had its crap together they would do a weekly Walby/Dunnigan weekly show and have Brody part of it as well....

  29. MTL trades a 6th round draft pick to the L'ks for RB Fletcher. This could be absolutely huge for the ALs. I thought Fletcher was great last year in his few opportunities.

It's never going to be over. If you know anyone who is unvaxxed and has crossed the border recently - some border crossings turn them back, others let them cross There is no consistency - what happens at Emerson doesn't happen at Boissevain or Bottineau.

  37. I don't care how good he was, you can't put a punter ahead of anyone who plays a regular position. Bob Cameron did his job & he was very good but he was a specialist. Someone who got on the field maybe 7 or 8 times a game. Moreso if the offense couldn't move the ball. Bob's best game he could possibly have is if he never punted. Which would have meant that his offense was functioning at peak efficiency. So, saying Cameron is better than Andrew Harris is wrong. Compare Cameron to other punters & then we can have a conversation. Anything else is a non starter. We could argue all day who the greatest Canadian player is/was for the Bombers. Joe Poplawski certainly was one of those players but you had othe as well such as Fullback Gerry James who played for the Leafs & Bombers simultaneously in the 50's & early 60's. Jim Heighton was a Defensive End in the 70's who was a helluva player & played a long time for Winnipeg. Doug Brown was an immovable object for years on the defensive line despite being double teamed on every play. John Bonk a perennial all star at Center. Chris Walby for sure should be up for consideration. Gordie Rowland as a corner. Another guy who played well over a decade in Blue & Gold & distinguished himself with Bomber team awards, all star nominations & Grey Cup victories. There are others I've missed.

None of that group can hold a candle to the absolute best John Madden. Suitor is on this “he has to get his hips turned around to move on” schtick. Just repeated goofiness. Somewhere in my noggin Sanchez was a dirty player. That clouds my opinion of him. Matt, he’s a treat. Milt, he’s ok, but slightly over animated. Kate, curvaceous, toned physicality. I’d like to gently stroke her hair.
