Yeah god forbid we get an injury to him or Bryant.. then I’m starting to panic a little bit however o-line was much better in the second half of the Ottawa game last week.4 points -
Feeling like everyone is confusing Josh Miller and Houston from last year. Miller got burnt a lot.4 points

I’m hoping this is the week where Augustine becomes the number one. Again the guy with his speed just creates something on every carry, got to get him more involved he only had 7 carries compared to Oliveria’s 14, should be the other way around.4 points -

Cows really can have distinct personalities. I had a cow I bought from a neighbor and when she had a calf she was loaded with milk so I tried milking her. And we came to an agreement . I'd feed her some prime 2nd cut alfalfa and she would let me milk her 2 front teats. If I tried the back 2 she would fidget and fuss. They were reserved for her calf. One day when I wasn't in a pleasant mood I went to milk her and her mood matched mine. She kept moving around and finally knocked over the pail of milk. I stood up firing off expletives and kicked her on her back shin. She looked back at me with a " oh, yeah " look and cracked me right back with her back hoof on my shin. We looked at each other for a minute , I gave her some more feed, sat down quietly and milked her accepting that I had been put in my place.4 points -
he got burned bad twice first game....second game he wasn't getting burned....people need to chill a bit...guess we hd all our guys getting burned then in the scheme that had Ottawa take the passes underneath and in front of them, yet outta the endzone and not getting beat over the top...Adams had that one just as the rain and wind picked up...but other than that was minimal...and that was a great throw as Rose had good coverage and almost knocked it away3 points

If Rose is hurt, this is a good time to let someone else show what they've got... I thought Houston was decent in spot duty last year... let's see what he can do in a full game and then the team will know what they have3 points

Yuck. As bad as Rose has been Houston would be a pretty big downgrade.3 points -
You just need more education about poplar. 😀 But oh yes - Netley Creek maple syrup - maybe we should gift some to whoever wins the pick 'ems. The cows wanted to hear QX 104 during morning milking. If I dared to check CJOB sports at 25 after the hour, one or two of them would kick their milking machines off. But they did like afternoon baseball and football games.3 points

He's a great rotationary piece. He is very strong and gets to the quarterback. Being a global it frees up a di to provide depth somewhere else. Glad to have him back. He replaces a defensive end who probably doesnt do much on special teams.3 points -

And he’s in no way a liability when he does rotate in. He’s not a token out there, he’s demonstrated he can make an impact.3 points -
Rotation is the key to an effective D-line.3 points

so maybe Rose is somewhat knicked....and hence his odd play so far.....he was just fine last yr when he came back, and doubt he has dropped off the performance ledge at 28 yrs old....not concerned in the least2 points

I don't have any memory of Houston playing poorly last year. I'm very okay with giving Rose time off to heal up whatever the issue is.2 points

I carve.... both are good for carving.... maple has red streaks. poplar pretty easy to carve, really nice grain. both are underrated carving woods I have planted and brought along many of both... used to live on 20 acres east of wpg. I planted , watered, mulched, fertilized hundreds of trees.2 points

Now MB Maple is something I can get behind. In addition to all the other things you listed, we make our entire syrup supply for the season as well as some for friends. Also grows like a weed and has good value for turning or carving.2 points

Jock Climie would call them “the worst 2-0 team out there right now”. But this team is going to be judged on what it does in November, not now. As long as they bank wins and position themselves well for the playoffs, there is enough experience and talent to improve on stuff so no real concern yet. Remember last year’s start where we beat Hamilton but our secondary looked shaky, beat Toronto but their run game dominated us, we lost somewhat convincingly in Toronto, and but for an offside allowing a do-over on the winning field goal, and a just missed last second FG attempt from the usually reliable Paredes would have lost at home to Calgary. Then some cream puff games against Edmonton. It wasn’t until BC that we looked like the monster that the team became. So unless the “Grey Cup hangover” complacency last for another 4 weeks and we start losing games due to carelessness and don’t bounce back in anger, I see it as just a blip. I’ll check in again if I feel a trend is developing. Being a two-time defending champion does allow for some calm perspective and peace of mind during the turbulence that other teams can’t afford.2 points -

I can't believe TSN gets away with this. Last night with Sinopoli and tonight with Cui. It angers me because both of them deseve the attention and it's selling the game but TSN won't invest the time into it. Instead of having these interviews as part of the pregame, they cram it into the game. It does a disservice to both the game and the guests.1 point -

I am afraid that with your political system being what it is and with the unrestricted, massive flow of money both in the open and dark money to sway candidates, there is little chance of meaningful change in your country. The massive inequality and concentration of power has created system that benefits few and fuels the violence and unrest there. I feel for the many good people in America who are essentially powerless.1 point
