Putting up back to back 2000 yard seasons (running and receiving) in 2005 and 2006 with how putrid our offensive line was is nothing short of greatness. He was without a doubt one of the most dominating running backs of all time.7 points -

Ford also had the good sense to shut up and not piss people off. Being angry and loud and "edgy" is all PP has. He's basically Jason kenney. Horribly divisive and unfit to lead.6 points -

I'm glad that Lalji was clear that Ford would be starting at QB. If the tweet just said "Ford starting" then it could mean that Jones decided to try him at long snapper or cover team gunner.5 points -

7 time CFL all star. CFL Hall of Fame, +10,000 career rushing yards, avg. 5.4 per carry, +3000 receiving. 6 x 1000 yard rushing seasons. MOP nominee. ANY CFL team would have loved to have him on the squad, despite his warts.5 points

Looking forward to seeing tonight’s game. I think Ottawa is likely better then their 0-2 start and will have something to prove, and I want to see if B.C comes back down to earth. They’re not going to win every game by 40 points so should be an interesting game tonight.4 points -
BC @ OTTAWA Edmonton @ Hamilton Montreal @ Riders Bombers @ Argos Outside our game,I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night's game and how real Rourke actually is. I won't take away anything he did in his first 2 games, guy looked like Tom Brady out there but he hasn't played away from BC place and will be facing a well rested and good Ottawa team. Masoli is better than any qb Edmonton has and is better than MBT in Toronto. I have the feeling that BCs defense will be winning them this game if they do actually win but my money is on Ottawa tomorrow.3 points

He went from not moving to full speed instantly and could change direction without losing any speed. Just such a natural talent. I too really wish he had the drive to be better because he was a special player even with all his flaws.3 points

Good week of games again. Been a sick season soo far. ott bc is def the gem of the week. Edm ham will be good too. One of those teams is gonna have a chance and the other is gonna be out of the running before LD. Als and sask should be good. Qb controversy mon looks better with Harris. Sask has got to be angry and play even more reckless football than we’re used to. then the return of Harris. A lot of players will be geared up for this one.3 points -

Again, I'm not sure he actually believes that bitcoin is a hedge against inflation. He holds crypto and promoting it is just another avenue for personal gains and the lunatic convoy people love crypto, so might as well promote it. Fortunately with the fall of bitcoin, he's got all sorts of egg over his face and personal financial loss as well. Somehow his supporters will ignore it and see him as an economic genius that will free the country from Trudeau's idiot financial policies. I can only hope you're right, but I thought the same thing with Trump. I assume most moderate conservatives will still embrace him if he's the leader rather than Liberals.2 points -
It's also Chris Jones... would not be the least bit surprised to see him be the 1st to field 2 QB's at the same time.2 points

Like in the ‘50’s. The 1650’s, in England, that is. Where the Church ran the government, with the King as the appointed head, for life. Sound like the wish of anyone we know nowadays? Oh yeah, it took a Civil War in England in the 1660’s to settle the issue and create a parliamentary democracy.2 points -

If that's what it takes to kick Brady/Johnny in the ass to get going then I'm each getting them a pack of players light menthol smooth and a case of Redbulls2 points -
Personally I think a small back in good shape holds up better. They are harder to square up. And don’t get drug down from behind with as much force or resistance. normally you get a read pick up or and assist. they are on one side of the qb and their read is to pick up the first path to the qb on that side. Could be an edge rusher a blitzer inside or out or a twisting linemen beating a guard. Usually it’s an edge rusher though. Simply first man with a path to the qb on your side. Few backs are capable of crossing behind the qb and picking up a block and it’s risky at best any way. some times If you face a particularly nasty pass rusher like say jeffcoat you might assign your rb to chip the rusher on the outside and force him into the tackle. you more so see a rb on the line head up on a rusher in the us where they will motion a blocker to cover an over load blitz. Other wise here you’d see it in either rare two back sets with a blocking back like we used to with mike sellers or in short yardage. mostly we use wrs to pinch on the edge almost always woli this year. Rbs here mostly pick up the first man. harris used to run block and release and make incredible pick ups. But no one else in the cfl today can do what Harris does in pass pro. given how well Augustine has picked up special teams play and improved as a player over the past two ish seasons I see no reason why he can’t become an excellent pass pro rb. Brady’s us experience has him more adept at pick ups but physically Augustine is soo strong and quick I dont see any thing that limits him. But it’s really some thing you have to do in game to improve at. Augustine’s split on production between big runs and the rest of his runs is the reason imo. The variance is huge. And neither Brady or Augustine is going to produce great with out great ol. Especially in this system. Augustine with a more diverse zone run scheme like ozr split zone mid zone wide zone and counter / counter trap etc gives us our best production. But I don’t think we will diversify our run scheme.2 points

Agree with the opinion that Augustine and Oliveira should basically split reps, and go with whoever is rolling. Totally supported not paying a 35 year old Harris big $, but full respect - you can really see the difference. He is a hall of famer, our current RB's likely won't be. But we need at least 75% of the total production Harris gave us from our two RB's, and for defenses to at least respect our run game a bit.2 points -
