My dad and i watched the game together and took great delight in watching BC's defensive coordinator Ryan Phillips lose his s**t every time the camera was on him lol!

How does it make sense that we played two games in 5 days, no bye this week, but Toronto has already had 2 byes in 5 weeks? Absolutely a jumbled mess of a schedule.

Props to Duke Williams for stepping up and speaking up about the Marino hit and publicly saying it’s not okay. I hate to say it because I’d rather the Riders just be an absolute tire fire, but that’s a good sign of leadership they’ve been missing for a while. Good for him.

To be fair, Rhymes was a pushing off and stuff. The dude just does enough to get separation but not enough to draw a flag- it was maddening.

It's going to be the two best teams in the league. Bo looks to be back to his old self, but Zach has shown he's not ready to relinquish his claim to the throne. Carey and Henry are potent offensive weapons - but our three-headed dragon at RB is starting to get going and our air attack only benefits from that. I don't think it's a question who has the most impactful defence. Should be another great game.

The Robertson injury sucks....but it looks as if he was hurt prior to the hit...and also...the dude doing the hit didn't have the intention like Loserino..nor did he celebrate and act like a total jackass afterward...there is a clear cut difference there...the league tho has too much of that piling on..and after a guy is down hitting...every game by all teams...how u clean that up is tough...and maybe any man down hitting needs to be a 25 yarder...and if u do it again ... ejection As for the clear cut intent ones....and we can clearly see it with Marino as he targeted...and twisted...as well as tried it on that lineman the play after Robertson...coupled with the loser actions after..should be a precedent setting 6 game minimum suspension...minimum if not a season ender...no room or place in a professional league for players with that mindset...and obvious mental issues...u nip that **** in the bud now

This was the best move for both the player and the teams....this is a win/win/win....although Edmonton gets worse (somehow...) but at least they're getting a pick for a guy they were never going to play anyhow.

That is correct.

BC is a quick strike team. Fast skilled players. If you can't keep up to their pace they eat you alive. We kept to their pace and dramatically beat them in the physical part of the game. Teams like Toronto and Calgary are much more physical where they can almost keep up to us in that category. That's why they're much harder to beat for us. That said, we're the champs and we've won almost every meaningful game in over a season. And we're at home. So I expect us to win.

I think Hardrick took 3 uncharacteristic penalties. The short week has to be especially tough on the stamina of the big eaters.

Wife and I listened to CJOB with Derek Taylor and Doug Brown. MUCH BETTER than suffering through Suitor. Had the TV synced to the broadcast, and will absolutely be doing that in the future.

Should sell a lot of tickets. Friday night, mid July weather. The stumps and bombers both ran up the score in their most recent games. Only one will be undefeated.

Calgary has won a lot of ugly games against bad teams but we were the same until our victory yesterday. I like our chances at home but we can’t sleep on these guys.

This’ll be a big test for Bo Levi. He’s looked like his old self more so this year, but hasn’t played a super strong team yet.

He's marginal at best...and has been hurting that team with stupidity for 2 yrs... Sadly Dickieson has no onions or spine...and his tenure there has been a consistent lack of discipline and over the top stupidity in players on field antics...actually off field too ..he said prior to the last 16 penalty stupid fest that playing time would be taken away...and who sat..nobody...that team obviously doesn't respect him or listen...with him running things...and the Faj as the QB there no chance of hoisting a cup there ..the last game with minimal penalties I am sure was an anomaly and not the new norm...we shall see in coming weeks...but the fact that doucher did what he did...and got the penalty previous to that where he tried to break the olinemans leg ..yet he kept sending him out there tells me he condones it...or is just a useless dolt wearing the headset...and his somwhat defending of him in the presser...but also saying they don't approve of it is laughable...and sad...and no official team apology or addressing the issue..in any manner is also pathetic...but not surprising.

Masoli "is a player too" ... "something needs to be done" The TSN Panel did very well to condemn and judge Marino for his intent to injure. They noted his history and his overt celebration of his destruction of Masoli. They said he needs to be suspended for at least 3 games. They pointed out the CFLPA needs to focus on more than protecting the aggressor; they need to hone in on protecting potential future victims and the need for clean play. That means security for not only the player but also for his family. Such policy would make the game more enjoyable for both players and fans alike. There is nothing more egregious than going after a team's pivot.

Haha ...I also found it funny on a few of our plays on defense...that they were doing that B.C arm pumping thing they like to do...was comical

I personally believe BC is better than Calgary. If we are the same team this Friday as we were this past Saturday, we're gonna be just fine.

Can’t say I’d recollect either. The SK and Ott game will be remembered for being worse than a gong, or clown show. It was as bad a display of sportsmanship as anyone will remember. The games are suppose to be about skill, athleticism and competition. Nope. Not those two teams. SK demonstrated street warrior tactics, literally a premeditated assault, with racist rants. One of the teams stars will be out for many weeks because of a mugging by a thug. Now watch the Bombers and the Lions, THAT was a great football game of skill, and big league performance.

For the life of me I can not recall an athlete injuring another player intentional or other wise the celebrating it little on celebrating being ejected like that. ham ott should’ve been a good game that gave a second chance to the winner. Instead I bet it’s going to be hot garbage.

Booch he jumped on Pete’s ankle far after the play was over and that’s when Robertson was hurt, there was no limp prior to that, I’m not sure where that came from in the media. It wasn’t in the same stratosphere as Marino, who absolutely has mental issues, dude needs help. I fear he will just do it again after the suspension. He’s a good DT, physical, but he’s not a major loss if he’s out, so I too wish the team would cut their losses. Tough to win a championship with a guy like him on your roster.
