This game was a lot like a lot of other games that we won. Keep it close. 1 big drive in the 4th to put the game away. It would have worked again if Collaros hadn't fumbled and Leggz could make a short FG. We weren't going to go undefeated. We lost to an Eastern team like last year. We're still in first place and will be when we get back from the much needed bye.

You know how you get mentally tougher? You have a bad game and learn from it. You have a bad game and realize that your team mates are still behind you. You learn that you're never going to be perfect and that you don't have to be. And you learn that every other player on the team screws up too, many times in a game, so the loss is never just on you. Those are the things that one learns in order to be mentally tough. Oh, and the other thing that you learn is to ignore the chattering masses who have zero clue of what they are talking about.

Cote puts 42 yd FG right down the pipe.......20-17 Oliveira runs for 6....Zac incomplete to Schoen.... Leggs has 37 yd attempt to tie this thing..... Ball is up.....and ......bounces off the right upright!!! Game. Bombers LOSE 20-17. No 400th home win.... ....no more undefeated season. But on balance, the Blue kinda deserved this one..... Just like I deserve postgame gin.

Very rough riders esque post after a loss

ZC needs to take care of the ball and not fumble like that. Just handed it to the defence. Leggz needs to make that kick but **** happens. Routledge needs to line up onside (I think the LOS was wrong and he wasn't offside but what can you do) O-line had their worst game in years. Defence limited the Als on the scoreboard but didn't make any big plays to swing the game. Team looked tired and checked out before the bye week. And after that did they get blown out? No, they lost by 3 in OT. In August. Against a team not in their division. Bad game all around. Maybe a loss is better than a cheap win to refocus and piss off the team. It will be ok.

It’s a mid-season loss after a brutal schedule. They won’t use it as an excuse but it was an obvious factor. Things to fix and they will go back to work after healing up a bit. Couture can’t come back soon enough and Buck needs to figure out how to keep ZC8 in one piece. The defense needs a rest in the worst way.

Yeah maybe break the tension a bit and dig a bit deeper into what's wrong with the offense. There's no way the O should have us tied in a game where the other team has 17. O turns the ball over to set up the game tying drive. Offense is way too inconsistent. Yeah when they run hot it's beautiful but this team is way too good to need to lean on a kicker to finish games like this off.

You could put up any club and ask em to go 9-1 in a 10 game stretch and likely no one would do it. 9-1 is damn impressive and although last night's loss stings bad were still using our oxygen tanks at the top of the mountain.

My thoughts exactly. The Bombers had several opportunities to ice the game, but it didn't happen. Few expected to run the table this season, but to lose in such a manner where the game was within reach but fumbled away is galling. We need to cut Liegghio some slack. He choked, plain and simple when the game was on the line. but athletes early in their careers have been known to do so are still have stellar careers. Its way too early to tell if this is a chronic issue or a rookieism. The O-line was terrible from start to finish but 10 games without a breather and multiple injuries will do that. We need to back away from the edge.

Sounds right. They are not going to mention the schedule. 10 games is too long without a bye, but when you consider the short weeks and away games it is even more crazy. I am not concerned. Worst part is that our home unbeaten streak is broken!

Here's the bottom line. Do you want Leggio to have to kick a game winner in the west final? I know I don't. Might be the last guy in the league I'd want in fact. Maybe there's a way to not run him outta town, but also address the issue? Bring in a vet , make a trade? If you can't kick a single from 30 yards out, I think it'd fair to ask questions. Lol. This is a championship quality team, no room for guys who can't get it done in the clutch.

You do realize that beyond the subsidies that we've provided for O&G, this same government literally bought a pipeline that has been losing a ton of public money? Trudeau has also advocated for Keystone XL when cancelled by Biden. What exactly are you saying the feds should do? Abandon climate change goals and put even more public funds towards O&G? You're also aware that the 30% reduction on fertilizers isn't actually a 30% reduction on fertilizers? It is a reduction on emissions from fertilizers, working towards efficiency rather than banning. I can't see how any investment in O&G would be anything other than a net loss in the long term for our economy, beyond being completely environmentally irresponsible. The problem we've had in the country is that we've dug in to a declining industry for political reasons for too long. Kenney's energy war room has been a disastrous use of public funds. The sooner we realize digging in on O&G isn't the answer, the better.
