How many of his gaudy stats came in 2 absolute blow outs of the pathetic LOLks? There was the big one against calgary too that was a shootout but still for all the yards 2 tds and 2 ints... Game he was injuredhe had a lot of yards but also 2 tds to 2 ints...Pretty pedestrian game against the ticats, pedestrian against the bombers... Ottawa was big yards but 2 tds and 2 ints.. So really we're going to hand awards to Rourke because he absolutely **** kicked Edmonton twice and Toronto once in the first few weeks of the season and then was pretty even in the TD/INT ratio?

We rolled the Lions when we played them. If anyone is desperately trying to convince us that Rourke is somehow deserving of an award for playing half a season, just point to the head-to-head matchup. And, he would have be exposed by any competent defense, like we did.

Glenn was better than Buck in Winnipeg. More or less by default though because Buck couldn't stay upright. Glenn would have been much better than Lefors/Bishop in 2009, therefore cutting him was a big mistake.

It was however also an easy part of the lions season... and the one head to head with collaros saw collaros definitively come out ahead... AND collaros has gotten better as the season has gone on. Who is to say Rourke would have maintained the pace? You can't use what is essentially a hot start as an excuse to give a guy a bunch of awards. Games played matter and only getting half a season sucks for Rourke but it is what it is. Collaros the the leagues MOP this year simple as that because he's done it all year.

Who does and does not have to clear waivers has a lot to do with it.

If they can do a longevity recognition type win for Van Zyl, they should do it for Yoshi.

Argos LB Wynton McManis should take it over Shawn Lemon who they are pushing, even though he's probably out for the remainder of the season.

As long as our big vets are as healthy as can be I’m not concerned. 100%. The next man up process in Calgary was backed by constantly bringing in high tier guys to push at positions. Not familiar faces who have shown they can’t cut it. Or keeping guys on the pr who aren’t going to improve or be less available at any point in the future.

Zach really has no competition for MOP this year, he didn't just ride a good team to first place, he literally blew the doors off in a number of games with exceptional individual performances.

That’s what I’d think. And getting ellingson back would be scary good. it’s still poor roster management with him though. To have brought back McKnight then cut him and now cut Harrison too. We rostered him and gave him no reps. Could’ve been actually developing some one. Our pr this year has been a mess.

I think it is more that we can't fairly compare him and Zach head to head because he didn't play the full season. The only head to head comparison we CAN make is in the game where Zach outplayed him. Any talk of giving Rourke MOP is ludicrous, in my opinion. The back half of the season is where defences tighten up, and every team has game film on you.

Could be the team was planning on moving him back to the PR (since he wasn't doing anything on the active roster) and he didn't want to accept that.

I'm curious who chooses the new leadership for the organization and how. They need to make sure there is absolutely NOTHING left of the last crew. The crew that thought the media was unfairly making things look worse than they are. I'd love to see someone like Sheldon Kennedy involved, and LOTS of women. The TV and sponsorship dollars are about 35% of league revenues. They are extremely important to EVERY teams survival and would be severely impacted without a league presence in TO, Mtl, and Van.

Quebec City is probably a better market for a CFL team than Montreal

there no fear of Osh and Walters needing to be replaced here for the next little while unless we can them...and I dont see that happening...Osh been here for 9 yrs now...his life is here...people keep saying he may want to go home to coach there..Last time I checked North Bay didnt have a team...yeah he drafted and played for Ham...then T.O...but that was 15 yrs ago...times and people change... would take a pretty sweet deal...with a lot of concessions for Macmanus to leave...and not many teams will want a GM who would 90 percent of time being "remote"....just look at how that worked with Mack....tho I should be ashamed of myself for comparing Macmanus with Mack....feel free to cuff me around ahahaha

When you're the top team ainec you don't worry about those things. Take care of your own business the opponent doesn't matter.
