  1. Bombers offense can play any type of style, you force them to run the ball play a physical game sure, you want to force them to dink and dunk the ball down the field sure, you want to get into a shoot out sure. They have guys that can do everything.

  8. interesting to say the least, and kinda funny considering all the flack and complaining that occurred about our apparent weak secondary...quietly and efficiently just get the job done with no flash and boasting...much like the team as a whole has done week to week for past several years the Lions have scored 33 of their 58 regular season touchdowns through the air. On the opposing sideline, the Bombers defence has allowed a league-low 19 passing touchdowns this season. Additionally, Winnipeg allowed the second-fewest yards per attempt (7.8), tied BC for the fewest passing yards allowed per game (253.6) and have held opposing quarterbacks to a league-low 65 per cent completion percentage.

  9. Yes, but really struggle to... um... hmmm... field a Canadian QB?

  10. thanks. really good. "Winnipeg’s defence has surrendered just four fourth quarter offensive touchdowns all season." that is something special.

  11. Would love to see this. I’m also hoping the officials and command center don’t play a big part in this game… You can guess what result most people outside of Winnipeg would like to see.

  21. Courtesy Ed Tait: 5 NOTABLE NUMBERS FROM BOMBERS VS. LIONS 148.3: QB efficiency rating for Collaros in his five quarters of work against the Lions this year. Collaros played all of game one and went 23-of-30 for 288 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, dressed but did not play in the second matchup and then went 4-of-5 for 68 yards and two TDs in the first quarter of the final game. A perfect rating, FYI, is 158.3 14-283-4: Dalton Schoen’s receiving totals in three games vs. the Lions – 14 receptions for 283 yards and four touchdowns. Schoen had at least 82 yards in each game, got a touchdown in each and averaged 20.2 yards per catch vs. B.C. 379: Yards rushing by the Blue Bombers in the three games vs. B.C. Winnipeg rushed for 141 yards in the first game, 74 in the second and 164 in the third. The 164-yard total was the highest rushing game for the Blue Bombers of the season while the 141 in the July win ranked as the club’s third-highest ground total. 41.1: The Lions finished second to the Blue Bombers in the CFL this year in second-down conversion rate at 50.3 (Winnipeg was 56.2). But in the three games against the Blue Bombers, they were just 6-of-16 (37.5%), 5-of-16 (31.3%) and 12-of-24 (50%). 66/36/31: In the one game this year in which both teams were healthy, and both had something at stake – the first meeting of the year – the Blue Bombers built a 21-0 lead before Nathan Rourke and his receiving corps found some traction. Rourke threw for TDs of 66, 36 and 31 yards – to Josh Pearson and twice to Dominique Rhymes – in what was a 43-22 Winnipeg victory.

  22. We also played nearly twice as many games this year, which makes it tough to compare overall numbers.

  33. They got worn down... I remember watching every ******* 2 and out... every single miniscule time of possession per drive- thinking, the Defense is going to get gassed and finally fold... And look at that... they did. I don't see it as Swaggerville shat the bed, they just got worn down from that soul sucking, life force draining putrid as **** offense... The defense was on the field a lot... A LOT- until garbage time. That's my memory of GC 2011- how accurate is it.. IDK, I'm old.

    Covid-19

We need more of this, not only for issues related to Covid but for how people confuse Freedom of Speech is meant as freedom to lie without consequences. From the Canadian Press: Alberta Court of Appeal dismisses unvaccinated woman's case for organ donation. She can refuse the vaccine, the ruling says, but there are consequences that flow from that decision. So to my point, exchange the sentences above to read, he can lie all he wants, i.e., freedom to say whatever you want, but there are consequences that flow from that decision.
