  5. Not to mention it is far better for his healthy to not be subjected to the absolute **** that Sask is trotting out for an offensive line. You want to talk about good family decisions a guy not having his head turned to mush is a pretty good reason to stay the **** away from Sask.

  10. More like he is simply what would happen if you put a microphone in front of a riderfans poster. Just a fanboi without any understanding of how the sport really works spewing biased homer takes and then refusing to accept that he was wrong.

  11. If Demski is signed....and fully expect it...And Schoen returns I would be okay with Ellingson comes back at a team friendly deal...but only if we retain those top 2 mentioned....but if it's at the expense of Bailey...whom is very underrated and a key piece then it's a hard pass...wondering if he is waiting for the tamper window to see his open market value so he has a number to give the Bombers...I believe he signed late last yr too....so if he returns I'm more tan fine with Demski, Woli and Bolo as Canadian's and Schoen, Bailey and one of the very intriguing guys we have under contract...I'm looking at you Agudosi and Helliegh...may have spelled that wrong

  19. C'mon- $450k for two receivers? Totally doable! lol.

  20. Sheed does everything asked of him. His stats aren't "relatively low" because he can't be a top tier receiver.... it's just that he's used differently. On another team, as the 1st or 2nd option, he'd likely have huge stats. So it's not that he isn't worth the money. The only way he leaves is if he feels like another team will give him a chance to be a star...

So what happens, and you can thank social media for this, is when I am spreading misinformation, lies (whether on purpose or I genuinely believe in these lies) and I'm countered with facts, all I do then is seed doubt with these facts being thrown at me by playing the victim, I'm the bearer of truths and these people who are countering with their facts are lying and spreading misinformation to counter the original lies I used. Mission accomplished to seed confusion, doubt everywhere and create a both sides argument when in fact there is only one side, the side of fact, i.e., science doesn't care about your 'opinions'.

  23. I don’t want him back under any scenario really. Sign Bailey.

  24. I think they'll wait until after they sign Demski and find out if Schoen is likely to return to see how much money they have left over to spend, if that doesn't happen I think Ellingson is a lock considering his relationship with Zach. Lawler and Lewis are going to be too expensive once F.A. opens, better off with the receivers they have in house spreading the ball around.

  28. Doesn't matter how much you think your organization is beloved when you've been a tire-fire on and off the field and your coach/GM are on one year deals but should have been canned. That is not a situation anyone wants to go to. No coaches, no players want that. Some will have to live with it.

Proud Boys members 'intend to subpoena' Donald Trump at their seditious conspiracy trial Members of the Proud Boys are reportedly telling former President Donald Trump to stand back and stand by for a subpoena. According to New York Times reported Alan Feuer, members of the Proud Boys who have been accused by the government of engaging in a seditious conspiracy are saying they "intend to subpoena Donald Trump as a witness at the trial." Although it's not clear why members of the gang would want Trump to testify on their behalf, many other January 6th defendants have argued that broke into the Capitol and violently clashed with police officers because it was what the former president wanted them to do. Feuer, however, expresses skepticism that the defendants will really be able to compel Trump's testimony. "That hasn’t flown with judges in other J6 cases so we’ll see where it goes," he said of past efforts to score Trump as a witness. "An Ohio exterminator tried to subpoena Trump at his own trial last year. The judge shut it down." The Proud Boys members are under increased pressure after the government earlier this week won seditious conspiracy convictions against four more members of the Oath Keepers militia, whom prosecutors argued engaged in a plot to block the peaceful transition of power to keep Trump in the White House. https://www.alternet.org/proud-boys-subpoena-donald-trump/

  33. I think that’s what Bailey is looking for, tbh. I expect him to move on to a team who will feature him more. He’s been a great teammate, but I think he’s looking for more than we can offer (in terms of targets, not dollars - though they tend to go up together).

Special Counsel John Durham tried to use Russian intelligence memos that were suspected of containing disinformation in his investigation of Russiagate. The New York Times reported: In Mr. Durham’s case, the dubious sources were memos, whose credibility the intelligence community doubted, written by Russian intelligence analysts and discussing purported conversations involving American victims of Russian hacking, according to people familiar with the matter. The memos were part of a trove provided to the C.I.A. by a Dutch spy agency, which had infiltrated the servers of its Russian counterpart. The memos were said to make demonstrably inconsistent, inaccurate or exaggerated claims, and some U.S. analysts believed Russia may have deliberately seeded them with disinformation. Mr. Durham wanted to use the memos, which included descriptions of Americans discussing a purported plan by Mrs. Clinton to attack Mr. Trump by linking him to Russia’s hacking and releasing in 2016 of Democratic emails, to pursue the theory that the Clinton campaign conspired to frame Mr. Trump. And in doing so, Mr. Durham sought to use the memos as justification to get access to the private communications of an American citizen.

  39. only way he fits is at a VERY cost-effective price.... with his injury history, it's tough to justify any real money, especially when Lawler and Lewis and maybe Schoen are out there looking for big $$$....

  40. Tried to listen to the Sports Cage yesterday to hear Ball's take on BLM signing in Hamilton, he went on and on through numerous guests trying to justify past statements he's made that didn't work out. Even Luc Mullinder refuted his claims with a little common sense. I'm not sure he even believes most of the **** he's spewing, it's more or less theatrics to draw ears and try to keep his job.

    The TV Thread

Having played both games recently, I can confirm that it's been pretty bang on to the source material so far. Some minor changes but that's inevitable so no complaints from me. I was skeptical of Bella Ramsey playing Ellie but so far so good. They told both leads not to watch any of the game stuff, so they can make the characters their own. Both admit to checking some stuff out so I'm sure that is one reason why it's been so similar to the game (at least from a character standpoint). There's only two episodes of LOU out so there's not much to get into yet. We watched the 1st episode of the 90's show... really wanted to like it but I don't know if we'll be going back for episode 2. Didn't find it funny aside from Red & Kitty.

  42. Interesting (don't hate me) info from a riderfans poster regarding FA signings last year: Last year 141 pending FAs extended with their old teams while 65 would sign with new teams after becoming free agents. 89 more either never signed anywhere or were picked up well after free agency opened up. Of the 141 who did stay put 20 signed before the end of December, 65 signed between Jan 1 and the opening of the legal tampering window, 49 extended during the tampering window including the first day of free agency. 6 more opted to re-sign with their old teams in the 2 weeks following becoming free agents. We are still 11 days away from the tampering window opening. Last year 80 of the 141 or 56.7% signed in the period from 11 days before the tampering window opening and the start of free agency. There were some very big names amongst those 80.

    Restaurant/food thread

I have not tried Colin's house but will add that to the list thank you for the recommendation. I have gone to Drifters in Lac Du Bonnet and from the outside it doesn't look nice but the inside looks new and the food was really good. The only other restaurant in that area of Manitoba that I've gone multiple time is the Hillside Beach eatery (near Grand Beach), the pizza is ridiculously good on a nice hot summer day. Well worth the travel and visit.

  48. He was already the third highest paid receiver in the league last season behind Lawler and Duke Williams, both are looking at taking a lot less this year. I think he's making a lot of noise but probably misreading the market trend.
