  3. Honestly, I think so few receivers have signed that Walters and Demski are struggling to find the right rate. Gittens signing may seal the Demski signing. Fingers crossed.

  4. Great news! Especially glad that we got a signing going into the weekend.

  5. No receiver in the league better than Demski catching the ball over his shoulder on a broken play and taking it to the house from anywhere on the field. McCrae can't touch that.

  6. Walker looked like someone completely out of fucks to give the last couple seasons. He’d fit perfectly with Sask.

  7. Or the over the shoulder catches. Even Collaros is amazed by Demski's ability for this. Zach said he started calling him Willie Mays but Nic didn't know who that was. 😂

  10. Yep, I have to think it pretty much ends any speculation Demski follows Harris to the Argos. Can't see them paying both guys at #1 National receiver rate.

  11. Gittens signing in TO means the market is WIDE OPEN for Demski, should he choose to go that route....

  12. One can hope the team has Demski all but signed and they are just waiting to file with the league. Re: Lawler. I'm a huge fan. Would take him over Geno. Pretty much unstoppable in any part of the field catching the ball.

I'm sure name recognition counts to some degree but neither was handed anything as far as I can tell regarding their respective accomplishments. I don't know Blaikie personally but have voted for him twice now based on his views, ideas, and commitment to his community. I've known Ben for nearly 15 years and he's as dedicated as he is intelligent - much like his late father. I wouldn't classify either as "nepo* babies," as both have worked diligently to get where they are in their lives. And FWIW, neither of them are kids. They're both in their late 30s. * nepotism generally carries a negative connotation

Hilarious. That bunch of assholes, who (at times) make the AB UCP seem tame, would rather reach out to Republican states than be seen asking the DREADED JPT for help... HORRORS! What a bunch of clowns.

  22. Does versatility matter when you do what you do (get open and make tough catches for your qb) so well? Don't get me wrong, you can do a lot of unique things with Demski and he can hurt a team in so many ways... but sometimes you don't need a swiss army knife when you've got a tool that can do it's one job exceptionally well. Passport is the biggest plus in Demskis favour IMO. The versatility is just a nice bonus. In summary, just get both Demski and Lawler. Schoen too while we're at it. Then go out there and tear the rest of the league a new *******.

  24. And from what I've observed about 89% of these wealthy people say others need to pull up their bootstraps if they want to be like them. Maybe I'm being to harsh, maybe 88%.

To my knowledge I have not gotten Covid, and am booked for my 3rd booster in the middle of the month, do I have to probably not but at this point I don't want to tempt faith

  27. I wouldn't pencil in Lawler as a lock to return just yet. They've been saying the same thing for a few weeks now and he's no closer to signing a new deal so it looks like he wants to see what other offers are out there.

  28. More than that, he is a homeboy, and that resonates with bomber fans. Its a mark of pride for the team management,

You may wish to consider the potential risk in vaccination vs the potential harm if you do not. We get influenza shots every fall, so we do have precedent.

Great point. However, controlling for the media and democrats failings on this, I would think there might of been a few kinks in his armour that voters could have picked up on if they wanted to or had the ability to critically think thru. My point is the voters share some (not all) of the blame here.

  31. Ya that's actually not a super hot take at all. Mr McCrae (with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg...) is definitely an American Demski.... But... The passport.
    2 points
  32. So I didn't want to be the guy to say that.... but you're not exactly wrong. I mean McCrae isn't at demskis level yet but it's the same type of guy just not as polished as a receiver

5 jabs here. No issues. Teen-aged kids both have the bivalent - no issues. Also no COVID.

    Covid-19

I got 4 regular ones (every time I've been eligible, I've jumped on the day I was able) but haven't had the chance to get the 5th (bi-valent) yet. Got sick just as I was eligible for it. Hoping in the next couple weeks to be able to go get it. AFAIC, the risk of COVID far outweighs the risk of myocarditis. Get that protection in me as soon as possible, thanks...

  39. Hot take. Greg McCrae can do everything Demski does. It’s the potential loss of passport that would be detrimental.

I don't understand being "torn". What is the main reason you wouldn't?
    2 points
  41. Really wouldn’t be too happy. Demski is a Swiss Army knife who I still believe has another gear,he’s close to really becoming a dominant player plus his passport makes him to me more valuable then almost any American receiver in the league. I don’t really see a scenario where we get Lewis or Lawler cheaper then what Demski is going to get so unless Demski doesn’t want to be here I would rather just use the money on him.
    2 points
  42. It depends what he gets I suppose. I don't think he would come cheap. Again...what does Scott Moe have to do with the RIders? Nothing at all. It's political commentary not football.

  44. I wonder what gittens got. Could drive the price up for demski. I like seeing guys resign it’s good for the league. I think lawler will bolt unless edm gets a good qb.
