  1. Interesting tid-bit: "Miller and his crew will release their numbers from ’22 in a couple of months, and they’ll show another profitable year for the Bombers. “No. 1 in attendance in the CFL, which was great,” he said, a hint of pride coming through over the phone. “Great corporate partnerships and support. So it’s going to be a really positive year.” It’s the first time in recent memory, probably in decades, the Bombers have been No. 1 at the gate. With four straight crowds of more than 30,000, last season marked the second-best attendance in team history, behind only 2013, the first year of the new stadium. Miller wasn’t ready to reveal the bottom line, but it should be at least $2 million, the size of the 2021 profit." https://winnipegsun.com/sports/football/cfl/winnipeg-bluebombers/bombers-miller-shrugs-off-als-takeover-looks-for-profitable-2023

  6. I began to wonder yesterday if Sheed was going to return to Winnipeg for less money. Lawler-Schoen-Bailey-Demski-Agudosi With Wolitarsky and BOL too? Not fair.

  8. Yesterday, we were bickering. Today, Sheed has brought us together. Go Bombers!

  9. That guy is just a pure heart and soul player. Very glad to see him back.

  10. Yep. the latest quote from Sheed is just as good: I'm so f**king happy for this signing. I don't know where he fits in wth our receiving core looking the way it does but I'm so glad he's back.

  12. knew it all along and never doubted it...was gonna say something yesterday but was keeping my pie hole shut....This teams ability to keep guys for less is unmatched anywhere....and has frustrated and angered some other teams brass...not my words...I got that from someone in the know....unfair was a word I heard that has been uttered...haha...and I love it

  13. I’m shocked. Surprised but very happy. This might just be the best receiving core I’ve ever seen in my life time. Good luck trying to cover those guys.

  14. OMG. This is totally an irrational fan thing but I am happy he's back. I don't have to make the numbers work, I can just enjoy another year of Sheed.

  16. Sometime I wish we had more reactions to choose from... a simple thumbs up or Go Bombers doesn't cut it. I absolutely love these quotes from and about Sheed. Is it June yet?

  19. Oh sure but is our OLine good enough to block and give Collaros time to throw it? Yes, yes, they are. Oh, sure, but do we have a RB that keep defences honest? Yes, yes, we do.

  20. Honestly, given the drought before 2019, and the way Edmonton use to spend, and the utter hypocrisy of the Riders to blatantly overspend when the cap was in place...IDGAF. This team is making money hand over fist. That said, we're the flagship organization in this league for a reason. We don't use shady tactics, and Farhan said Sheed left a lot on the table elsewhere.

  32. Evans will be the starter there, and that will put them below us....They may challenge for tops in the East...have some good pieces, but also have some glaring weaknesses. I still think when you look at each franchise top to bottom....Management and coaching...intangibles and top end players in prime....(and pffft with the age thing) we are still the class of the league and the team to beat....Barring some type of catastrophic injury(s) but that can be said for all teams If it is another Grey Cup appearance, and against the Argo's....I see it as a total different result..... and not just looking at it thru blue tinted spectacles....its from looking at and evaluating the sum of all the parts

Nah, the Dems are corrupt sure but it’s night and day man. One party are typical politicians like we’ve always known. The other are straight up scorched earth fascists. It’s not “both sides are equally bad”. Not even close.
