Truth and facts don't matter. Point the finger, get the soundbite out, raise alarm, cause divisions based on misinformation. All in the desire for power and control. It doesn't really matter if you are proven completely incorrect as the followers dismiss that as bias. The damage has already been done.4 points -

I'll give my thoughts on the subject of replacements as I had my hip replaced at age 50, the pain before the replacement was intense bone on bone with all the joint fluid gone even driving a car was painful especially going over bumps which we have an abundance of in our fare city. This is year 8 since and it's the best thing that I could of done no pain no limitations walk easily stairs a breeze and can actually run, did I mention no pain. Rehab is the most important part of getting back to where you were before the pain started. I also happen to have a pool so I did all my rehab in a pool which my Dr. said would benefit me greatly. If you're in pain whether is knee, hip or shoulder get the surgery as soon as you can for your body and mind.2 points -

Just wanted to get other people's opinions on these beauts https://3downnation.com/2023/03/08/cfl-fan-uses-artificial-intelligence-to-create-art-depicting-all-nine-teams/ Ugh... so boring, you'd think that Ai would come up with something cool for the BC lions. I guess I was wrong. Stamps? And people are worried about AI ushering the end of Mankind... maybe through LAMENESS!. So disappointed in AI... almost as much as I am in this lame pic... is that a giant dust bunny or a tribble kicked up under the horse? Next up, Ti-cats Oh hey Ai, I got a pic of my own: Ok, Alouettes- let's take it up a notch on the coolness! Uhg... fail. Ok, Elks- whatcha got? Ok... neat- I am good with the Kryptonian Large Quadra-ped look... Green sparks for the win! Oh boy- amorphous-faced, green-clad in a Confederate motif... that is eerily, too on the nose... Next up the Blue Bombers... Where The **** did this come from? I don't understand how we get to poor man's transformer. Anyone help me out on this one? Ok, maybe The ALLCAPS might muster something better: Good grief, looks like Dinwiddie with hair tonic gone crazy- wait... isn't he the head coach of.... Perfect... It is soo manly that it went way past manly and went "straight" to effeminate, the tiny gold nipples are *Chef's Kiss* perfect. Impressive 11 pack though... Anyways- I would love to hear other peoples take on these AI generated pics of CFL teams...1 point -

Donald Trump may face an anonymous jury in rape defamation suit An anonymous jury may hear writer E. Jean Carroll's upcoming rape defamation suit against Donald Trump, a judge in the case indicated Saturday. Carroll, a former columnist for Elle magazine, has accused Trump of raping her in the dressing room of a Manhattan department store in the late 1990s. She sued him for defamation after he derided her claims, said she was not his "type," and that her accusation was politically motivated. U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan issued an order Saturday asking Trump and Carroll to respond by March 17 if either side has any objections to using an anonymous jury, Bloomberg reported. Kaplan didn't explain why he might opt for an anonymous jury. But jurors could be targets of threats in the politically charged case. Anonymous juries have been used in the past to protect jurors' safety in cases involving organized crimes and terrorists. Kaplan ruled Friday that Trump's controversial hot-mic comments to an Access Hollywood host in 2005 will be allowed at the trial. Trump boasted then about "grabbing" women without their consent, saying he could get away with it because he was famous. https://www.alternet.org/Bank/trump-anonymous-jury-defamation-case/1 point -

Thank goodness we have all this "red tape" in Canada, otherwise, that would be us more regularly. Last bank failure was in the mid-90s in Canada. Remember that every time someone is pushing to cut red tape. They're just looking for shortcuts that don't protect consumers and put more money in their pocket.1 point -

There is a multi-party committee overseeing CSIS and national security and Poilievre has been called out by a Conservative MP who sits on that committee. The gist of what was said is that every member of that committee has had full updates and disclosures but are sworn to secrecy to protect sources and the degree of awareness that CSIS has about any meddling by foreign governments and actors in Canadian political affairs. Poilievre has carte blanche to huff and puff knowing full well that the government and committee cannot speak candidly on these matters.1 point -
It's bigger than just the GM and coach this team has always had one arm tied behind it's back. Every year it gets worse with whining millionaire players that won't play here or want to play somewhere else. We ( fans) might have to decide is it better just to have a team here no matter how competitive or no team?1 point

I've been banging the drum for awhile, but he's the best men's curler "we've" produced in decades. Mike is/was very talented, but.....with all due respect to him....Matt is mentally stronger. When KMart broke the story that Matt was getting back together with his World Jr champ teammate Colton Lott, and picking up one of the best 3rd's in the history of Manitoba curling, BJ Neufeld, I was ecstatic. I don't love bringing in a Harnden from out province, but it is what it is. He's helped calm/steady Colton on the front end. Overall, it's one of the best Manitoba men's teams in a very very very long time. Mike's team from 2010ish was, arguably, the best in the world. They won virtually everything on tour......but when it came time for playdowns, they (Mike?) just broke down completely. They lost to everyone in the big game....even Rob "F*** Around" Fowler, one year.....it was totally psychological. I think if there had been Wild Card teams at the Brier in those years, there's a chance they would have won a Brier, but they just couldn't get over the mental hurdle of winning a Buffalo. Anyhow, short story long, this Dunstone team is something special and as someone who is insanely passionate about the state of Manitoba "pro" curling, I am beyond ecstatic. We currently own the Women's game (at this point, we're sending glorified club curlers to the Scotties to help round out the field) and if we can get the Manitoba Men's division "powered up" again, we're going to be in really good shape. We've got Mike and Fry, curling out of Toronto because they couldn't put a team together in MB (source: Cathy Gauthier) and in the Final 4 at the Brier, Jocko Gauthier curling out of BC (he's going to be outstanding with experience).... our crop of Juniors over the last several years has been really really good, which bodes well for the Men's and Ladies divisions going forward. THANK GOODNESS!! (....and Go, Dunny, Go!)1 point

Meet the ‘Ghost’ Woman Fox Relied on for Voter Fraud Claims A voting machine company’s $1.6 billion lawsuit against Fox News has rocked the conservative media giant, exposing rifts between its journalists and the star hosts and executives more concerned with mollifying pro-Trump viewers than accurately reporting that the 2020 election wasn’t stolen. But the strangest revelation so far from the Dominion Voting Systems case against the cable channel may be the alleged source of the voter-fraud claims that sparked the lawsuit: a single email from a previously unknown woman who was convinced, among other things, that late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was murdered while being hunted for sport. That unhinged email to Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell has now become a centerpiece of Dominion’s case, raising questions about how Fox could allow obviously fake claims from a total stranger with no credentials to make it on the air. Even Maria Bartiromo, the Fox host whose show first aired the claims, admitted in a deposition that the email was ridiculous. “It’s kooky, absolutely,” Bartiromo said. But the ideas’ origin is even more “kooky” than Bartiromo might realize. In an interview with The Daily Beast, the woman behind that email—a Minnesota artist named Marlene Bourne—said that she based her now nationally prominent ideas about election fraud on a wide variety of sources, including hidden messages she detects in films, song lyrics she hears on the radio, and overheard conversations she hears while in line at the supermarket checkout. https://www.thedailybeast.com/meet-the-ghost-minnesota-artist-fox-relied-on-for-voter-fraud-claims?ref=home1 point
