The $5 Menu helps ensure there is something for everyone.” It says the $5 menu is in effect immediately" https://vancouver.citynews.ca/2023/03/22/bc-place-beer-menu/6 points -

Most of these statements seem to be made by people who have already benefited economically over their lifetime from the stability of the country and government they seem to loath. They fail to acknowledge that younger citizens and immigrants on their way up should also have access to the same opportunities stable government provides. In my estimation this attitude stems from greed and selfishness as a base motivation that often seems to be derived from an increased sense of prosperity. Poorer people tend not to adopt the attitude of disgruntled shitbags.5 points -

actually...when u see here...bc...Ott...Mtl...even in T.O there are a lot of young people in the crowds...this mantra that the fan base is dying off is a bit over blown...the CFL just needs to get with the times and become accesible, and more relevant on the new age of social media...marketing..etc...etc, and yes....broadcast the full draft...combines...create a weekly show ...focusing on league highlights the week before, then doing player profiles...personal interest stories with players..fans...etc....thats where they are missing the boat4 points -
No I mock him because he bought into the hype despite his many flaws and then when predictably things started going poorly he continued to act like it was all things outside his control. I was harder on Evans too until he opened up about his challenges and sought help for it. That's the entire difference. Honestly I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to rider players who aren't total ass clowns. It's always been the fans that are the biggest issue there.4 points

Join that illustrious club. 🙂 I'm not talking about voluntary living in this Country. Come, go do whatever you want to do. I'm saying that enjoying the freedoms and individual rights that we have as Canadians come with responsibilities we have to others and to our environment. I love how some people gloss over, wave away, ignore civic responsibility like it's just an aside and think the only issue here is my rights, my freedoms.4 points -

Nick Taylor was a basketball player too. for the most part I think tcf is a thing of the past. The closest thing now is recycled qbs coming in as the 5th arm to keep guys fresh, junior kids, extra legs for kicking to return guys and maybe some un drafted fa ni guys. The game is too competitive now with talent and athletic levels too high to risk a spot. You never know when a guy could break through like Alford or schoen. At this point I think only bad teams deal in tcf imps. Like maybe edm. Chris jones does crazy things.4 points

Honestly if Schaffer baker was a bomber he too would have been playing second fiddle to the lawyers, schoens, ellingsons etc etc just like demski and wolitarsky do too. Honestly wolitarsky on a different team would get an assload more yards. That guy is a real rock solid receiver who is a role player because of the depth on this offense3 points

Nope, nope, nope. The Agencies have not confirmed anything as far as I've read (and I could be wrong at this second). The sources are unnamed "whistleblowers". Again, the stated motivation to delay the Michaels' release makes zero sense, but I'm more than willing to follow the evidence as it builds/crumbles. So far, this is not passing the smell test for me. Keep in mind, just because it was ran past the Global lawyers prior to publishing, they often advise on wording rather than the actual veracity of the story.3 points

I see we have a few mental health advocates who constantly tell us not to mock pro athletes as it's cruel doing the mocking here. Nice. Well done, fellas. Maybe you should look in a mirror before lecturing others. Let's face it, KSB would be a starter on every team in the CFL. I'm sure as he gets more experience his all around game will improve. He's only 24. Agreed. Demski is a versatile player who can also be a running back or slot. As well as return punts & kicks. KSB is a pure receiver.2 points -
Demski got hurt in his 3rd season (broken foot) while KSB is going to start his 3rd season on the injured list so they aren't exactly worlds apart in terms of staying healthy. You could argue Demski actually has the edge since he made it through 40 games before hitting the IR where KSB has only played 30. The jury is still out on how durable KSB will be as he gets older.2 points

100% he wouldn’t. Ksb can’t block. Woli blocks more than he runs routes. Seriously it’s a completely different role. demski didn’t have injury Issues for his first 5 seasons. Can’t really compare the last two season health wise to a guy 22-24. He’s a talented young guy with lots of success for an ni wr. Nothing would change if he was here. Would it be sick to have that depth? Sure. But he wouldn’t sit on the bench as depth any way. And wouldn’t bump a starter. you really don’t seem to get what we have in bolo and woli. Or the role that our ni wrs play. just because it’s a contrarian point you don’t have to own it. 3dn, cfl pa, tsn, really any outlet you choose to look at demski is recognized for what he does.2 points -

saved me some time posting the "other" things...or things not factored in...well done we have BOLO who is similar...and has more upside as he is an actual polished receiver with prob some the best hands on the team...noit his fault he has 5 studs in front of him....way more upside there...and WOLI is clutch...makes the grimy tough plays....and also is key in the run game...and doesnt mug for the camera like a assbag like KSB has become accustomed to in that culture there...so no...he wouldn't crack our starting 6 receivers...For what Woli brings to the table you gonna sit him, or Demski for KSB?...Or flip your ratio and supplant Lawler..Schoen or Bailey for him?....highly unlikely2 points

who had a bigger effect on a game tho?...Demski...Gittens...Or KSB?....not KSB....Which player had trash all around him and had more of a focus on him to make a play...certainly KSB.....scouting report on KSB all along with people who know things is lacks true WR polish and route running ability...and why you think he didn't even get a sniff of even TC fodder for NFL...even tho he has the body type NFL teams gravitate to?...cause he is a butt horrible receiver ...sure he can do some things with ball in his hands...but he never gonna be a top 5-10 in the CFL...Nor a guy teams are gonna game plan and focus on in stopping...and that based on if he were RIDER...Bomber....Cat...whatever...maybe if he works and refines his game. Also there is talk he has a hard time grasping a professional play-book....hence why he did limited routes in Sask, and was basically a hitch screen guy, and a curl or short out guy...If you didn't notice the last 2 yrs he rarely is out on actual routes that develop, then not sure what you been watching...there was a reason for it, and wasnt a game plan to focus on others...it's cause he isn't capable to do it right now2 points -

We have more numbers than yards receiving ya know. demski put up a combined 923 yards in 13 games for 71 yards per game with 10 tds and 75% catch rate. Averaging a td every .77 games. Vs bakers 1034 in 18 games for 57.44 per game with 5 tds and 69% catch rate. That’s .27 tds per game. 0 multi td games for baker to 3 for demski. that with baker being the no1 target in ssk and demski being no3 for about half his games and no2 target for the other half. Then you have to factor in that demski is one of the best blocking wrs in the league and the single biggest difference making wr with out the ball in his hands in the league. Last year demski had more tds than baker has in his career. 30 games vs 13. Then you know wins are also a stat too. People love to attribute them to qbs but win shares are not just a qb stat and demski has far more. Demski also made west division all star over baker. but yes despite all the stats that demski crushed baker in, baker put up more rec yards. demski>baker and it’s not even remotely close. Baker has a lot of football ahead of him but he’s got a long way to go to catch demski. Baker wouldn’t make the bombers roster. Woli plays a role blocking and providing very secure hands. Demski does way too much more and is better at just about everything. Baker wouldn’t get half the pass attempts in our offense.2 points -

This is Russia's greatest nightmare. Previously, NATO had no access to a huge border along Russia, which Russians moved their forces through. There's one main route that could be disrupted that would not allow Russians to move North. Now, they need to defend that entire border. Ef' Putin.1 point
