I'm really high on Adamson's potential as a guard. Might have read me saying that last year. Walters had a good way of putting it that it gives his career longevity. Want those athletic guys on the offensive side of the line too. I see a tougher version of Chris Greaves. When you have a guy with the hands and feet but not the explosiveness why the hell wouldn't you flip him around? The U of M DL in the upcoming draft is another one who probably has a better shot as a OL, Kornelson.

Resurrecting this thread from the dead since the new Manitoba camping reservation system went live today. Very similar to the Ontario Reservation System (which is not surprising since the company hired has worked on the Ontario & Parks Canada systems in the past). Much easier to use but the big test will be on Monday when the first day of reservations goes down.

Should help the system not get overwhelmed but the downside on our end is that you now go through the process on multiple times (if you plan to camp in different locations). My wife likes to go camping all over the place & does all our reservations. So now she has to plan to waste 4-5 mornings on this now instead of one. We'll see how it work out though - can't be any worse than it was before!

Yes, that definitely explains their lack of scoring............. Hellebuyck has been fine, with very little help in front, as well. The issue is that the stars up front went MIA. Again, I feel like something happened to them mentally...maybe something went down in the room... I don't know. But whatever it was, they've collapsed.

I agree, though. I'd almost prefer they miss the playoffs again - especially considering they're projected to play VGK in the opening round (and the Jets couldn't even beat them earlier on when they were actually playing good hockey). Maybe if they miss the post-season, it will be the kick in the teeth TNSE needs to make some actual changes within the organization. It seems like complacency set in a while ago and some bad stuff has been allowed to fester as a result. I'm at a loss with how this season has cratered.

I won't dispute any of that. However, during the election cycle Doer sang a much different tune and Manitobans voted for it. What you do between elections can be explained away with a good spin doctor.

I am a full blooded native man with treaty status. FULL STOP. I do not like violence against women. Many of my family, friends, and associates of native bloodline feel the same way. I am sure that his race has a lot to do with many people's perception of him for sure. However, it is ridiculous to suggest that it is the underlying motivator when discussing his past indiscretions. Violence against women is heinous. Are there racists in Manitoba? Yea...I see it and live it everyday man and that sucks for Kinew as well but don't try to play the race card as a reason a lot of people are unwilling to dismiss his past. He has to wear it as he has never adequately been able to convince many of his innocence. Whataboutism is weak as well. Undoubtedly many people will not vote for him solely on the reason of race. Sad but true. Others will object to him based on the nature of his past indiscretions. It is up to Kinew to make believers out of the latter, and so far he has not been very convincing.

I agree that the NDP needs to take an approach similar to Doer and that Wab may be holding them back. That said, when have the PCs shown ability to manage $? 7 years and no balanced budgets. Removing significant $ from the public education system without having a plan in place for a) how they will replace it and b) how education will be funded. Borrowing $ to pay for education rebates, seniors and cost of living.

1. Funding should be adequate, without any need for tax increases, at least until the next federal election. There is no reason to think the Trudeau / Singh coalition will reduce transfer payments 2. Doer actually gave most unions bigger pay increases than Selinger did - nurses and teachers for sure. It took a bit longer and involved more political fan fare, but in the end, the PC pay increases were not much lower, especially COLA in Jan. 2022 3. We have yet to see a government that has a clear vision of what red tape is, much less having the capability to remove it

41-30-3 @ 19-39-15 Jets are 0-0-1 against the Sharks. Time: 9:30 PM, TV: TSN3 Smashville is 5 points behind with 2 games in hand. Flames are 4 points behind and play LA tonight. After that, the Flames play no other playoff bound teams and have a much easier schedule. Jets still have Minnesota and Colorado on the docket. I'll beat this dead horse --- the Jets need to string together some points.

Not only are their only 2 wins against the Jets, we only scored 2 goals total, in those two games. TWO GOALS against one of the worst teams in the league! This team is broken. Their play is disjointed and lacks any kind of flow. How are they going to out score anyone when they struggle to even string a couple passes together? I shut the game off after the Sharks got their 2nd goal because I knew it was over. Pretty demoralizing feeling knowing that your team has very little, to no chance of scoring 2 or more goals. Maybe it’s best if they don’t make the playoffs…. Not sure my blood pressure could handle watching them get destroyed.

I'm now cheering for these losers to not make the playoffs. In their last 15 games including last night, the Sharks are 2-9-4. Those two wins were over this ******* team. Losers.

What the Bombers have done outside of winning is make going to games an event. They have a lot of activities and things for families, young adults, and everyone in between. What they have done pre-game lower the cost of concessions and beer has made it economically friends. I know was at the arena couple of weeks ago and got a hot dog and drink and it was $16 bucks. For that, I could have got a drink and 3 hot dogs at the stadium.

My thought is that these republicans need to pray that God opens their eyes to how idiotic their ideas about guns are.

He's not thinking or praying hard enough. And, extra lazy cause this was a God school. Maybe a drag queen drove by? Or, maybe someone read a book with a gay person in it? Hard to tell but they obviously had it coming.

There is absolutely no way I would live stream the combine if I was the CFL. No chance I would give XFL/USFL/NFL scouts free and easy access to see the players measurables that we are hoping to recruit. For the price of zero they get to take a look at our best prospects and see how they stack up? No thanks.

It often seems like the ones who do are those who are blinded by their own privilege, entitlement, and ignorance. Section 1 of the Charter seems lost on way too many people.

Why do people want to go back to having a ruling class and the rest of us being serfs serving at their leisure? That's what small government gets you. I for one want a government that works for everyone and holds every one to the same standard.
