Augustine’s stats are basically meaningless. He started two games 4 years ago with Streveler starting when they were running heavy RPO. Most of his carries aside from that are in garbage time. Past 2+ seasons almost entirely reps after beat down like in the Sask game last Friday.

I saw Kelly play for Buffalo St. Joe against Steubenville High School. His team lost, and he had several tantrums. You could see the talent, but the attitude was terrible. He.took a lot of hits that night.

Its almost like...with five very good and capable receivers and only one football, that there may be some weeks where a receiver has an amazing statline or two consecutively, and may have a mediocre statline or two consecutively. I mean really, what are we doing here? Lol. Two weeks over 40 points and we're crapping on some of our receivers stats after two games. This fan base sometimes, Jesus Christ lol.

I think The Trinity sticks together through the '25 GC. People who don’t like what Agudosi or Bailey are doing so far this year don’t know what Agudosi or Bailey are supposed to be doing. Agudosi is an over the top, jump ball receiver. Red zone target. Done fine in both of those aspects so far. Bailey is a chain moving, gritty TE in a WR body type dude who is going to make the tough catches, move the sticks and lay some blocks. Done fine in all of those aspects so far. We don’t need 5 Schoen types or 5 Lawler types. We have those guys, we have Demski and we have the rest playing their roles.

Be nice to put these goofs in their place Thursday...and even more satisfying squashing the likely TSN story line and Lions tire pumping and cheer leading...I don't think the outcome will ever be in question from the opening snap

Lawler is paying for his serious lack of judgement two years ago. I'm sure he'll be relieved to get this legal stuff over with & behind him when it's over. Pretty expensive lesson. I'm not going to say we've all done it as I'm sure some here haven't but I'll be honest, 40-45 years ago when I was in my 20's & single, I got behind the wheel & drove home from a bar or party way over the legal limit plenty of times. I was just lucky I never got caught. The law was severe back then but not as severe as it is now. I hardly drink anymore & when I do it's at home. My kids & their wives don't drink so when we go there liquor is never served. My friends for the most part don't either. So, when we socialize it's juice, pop or water. I have liquor in my liquor cabinet still left over from last Xmas. But hey, back in the early 80's it was party time & I did some stupid things like drinking & driving. I made the same decisions Lawler made getting behind the wheel so I can't be harsh with him or I'm a hypocrite. We both very bad choices. I just got away with it because it was a fluke the cops never pulled me over.

I should have prefaced my comment by saying I'm not trying to discourage discussion, but the very obvious lack of understanding of basic football on the part of some is just baffling. There's ONE football to go around, we need to run the ball as well, nevermind the time spent on defence too. We're not going to have four or five 1,000 yard receivers. This isn't Madden. Oh. And Kenny Lawler is coming back eventually too. Here's the reality: There's going to be a very good receiver on our roster that maybe has in the neighbourhood of 500-700 yards this season - and that doesn't mean whatsoever that they had a bad year. There's just only so much opportunity to be had with as many mouths to feed that we have.

Bailey getting **** on for being arguably the best blocking receiver in the league.

Cornelius looks to have regressed, it seemed like he was beginning to figure out the game by the end of last season, but not much evidence of that now. Not sure the main reason but it can't help not having any experienced CFL QB in the room to add guidance even during his rookie season. Only Jones would throw 3 rookie QB's together in a room to figure out how to prepare and play the game, it's almost like expecting a bunch of 5 year olds to step up and run a daycare. I don't think Jones has any understanding of the offensive side of the ball and just leaves it up to McAdoo, who doesn't seem to know anything about QB's either, so he hired his buddy Jarious Jackson to babysit them.
