My guess is that if Brady can't play, they'll put McCrae on, leave Brady on and have a 45-man roster. Saves them a bit on the salary cap, though it would have them essentially playing with a 44-man roster. What we were wondering about is if Brady can play are they allowed to add Fox back in and say "that's part of our game-time decision"?

Actually, the growth is 18.5% during that period. The growth in the private sector during this time is 9.8%. So, its double you say. True. What is missing is context. During 2011, the Harper government did a 25% slash of jobs ACROSS the board. Every facet of federal public servants were affected. So, after Harper's government got sacked, the public sector had to catch up and rehire a tonne of staff to get back to decent staffing levels to deal with the back log and be able to effectively administer public services. Ok. So, then private sector grew 9.8% during the time frame mentioned. If you factor in the 25% initial deficit, the government is well behind the private sector in terms of growth.

I don't agree that wanting small gov't is evil. I think it's narrow minded and has proved be a disaster in practice time and time again.

Yeah they kept Frankie Williams over Grant. Williams won the league award for ST player of the year so it's hard to argue with their decision. I'd say it worked out for both teams, especially us!

Again, crazy to me how the depth has been allowed to get to where it is. I don't really know what their plan is at this point if a Canadian goes down in practice. The only guy not on the roster is Murphy. The guys on 1 game are OL and DT. Razor thin. They basically haven't replaced Miller and Burtenshaw.

I don't know how you arrive at this conclusion. Most unions got 1% - 3% annual increases under the NDP. Nurses even took a wage freeze at one point The current increases are not lower, they are higher

Because cutting the public service by 18% worked so well for Manitoba between 2016-2023? Because a 42% vacancy rate in Manitoba Health is so awesome? Because Kansas proved that small government and low taxation leads to disaster? It may not be evil, but it sure shows a lack of understanding in how governing a society actually works.

Honestly, what's incredible is that Gizmo lasted 14 years. For a KR, and the abuse they take sometimes, that's phenomenal. If we manage to have Grant for 10+ years, that'll be a miracle.

Grant has 7 in his first 35. Gizmo had 8 in his first 41 games.

Bombers vs Riders = ratings 690k watched. More ppl watched bomber riders than 2 other games combined, Thursday and Sunday.

If BO doesn’t play, they probably replace Fox with McCrae… if Brady plays, Fox probably gets back in… unless I missed something else.

I don't like that Brady is doubtful. Would feel a little better with an Augustine/McCrae combo but its a downgrade. Rhymes and Hatcher out for BC helps us.

My son is 12 and has always been a fan…I was lucky enough to take him to the 2019 cup. It was wild to see how emotional he got at the end of the game. It was beyond special for me to be there with him

I've lived in northern Alberta for 16 years and my wife is from the maritimes and I met her in Alberta. She had never met a CFL fan and expressed interest in the Bombers initially but that faded as our relationship progressed haha. She knows I need 18 nights(and playoffs) a year to hang out with the boys. The funny part is that I now have a daughter and son and my daughter has 0 interest in the Bombers. But, her birthday always seems to fall within a week of the Bombers playing in Edmonton. She's a hell of a kid and suggested that she brings a couple of friends to Edmonton and she's having her 13th birthday party at the game in August. She gets to spend a few days in Edmonton with her friends but the Bomber game is her party again this year haha

They played pretty good, they made it a game for a bit. We were just a bit better and pulled away when all the chips were down. Sask. looked better than they did in the past. In that sense they should be happy. Harriss is a good QB, but ours is better and although he put up some great stats IMO Zach was still the better QB that game Looking across the league VA has looked pretty good, but history tells us he is a very emotional and that get's the best of him and he suffers through wild ups and downs, very interested to see how he looks this Thursday Corny has looked unfortunately bad this year Mair got some stats late last week but has looked mostly bad to be honest Arbuckle has been a disaster Bo has played the worst that he ever has in his entire professional career the last two weeks and is now injured again to boot Fajardo looked competent in Mtrl. but I can't see him lasting getting hit so much...can it all be o-line or does the responsibility start to fall on him.... Kelly started hot and used his legs well, but we have seen this playbook before once teams get film/tendencies he probably won't get away with that So really outside of Zach only three guys have looked good VAJ, Kelly and Harriss and out of the three one could argue Harriss has looked the best. Other teams need some positives too it can't just be all Bombers or it would get boring...
