Jeffcoat was only on the 6 game IR for 2 weeks. So Lawrence may have an issue that is indeterminate and he could be back sooner as well. OTOH, Rose may be back before him since he was running but not practising last week. Musical chairs somewhat with our injuries and return dates not known by us posters. A few of them may be ready soon technically. Whether their injury status allows that IDK.

Maybe he was playing hurt...and hence his poorer play....from when we picked him up...and thru first game he was very good

Clements tho has actuallybeen pretty good.....maybe he gets it this yr....but a healthy and up to speed Wilson is lights out...so when he ready will be a good dilemma

yup...this should for most part be our defensive line combo...maybe some tweaks with Walker/Fox and bringing on Hansen for Mauro when he ready....if all healthy...should be solid...Lawson is highly underrated, and kind of unknown , but will soon be noticed Mack reminds me a lot of Lawler...we keep him reigned in, and the defense shows up against the run...we actually have been good in that aspect...we should be good, as the Faj won't beat us from his passing...especially if we contain and keep him on the pocket...if our DT's cause issues and collapse..The Faj just does...well those Faj things we all love ahaha

For those wondering - Demski's fiancee is due to give birth any time now, and that's why he's a GTD. Apparently Agudosi gets his spot if Demmer can't go. Lots of us have Dsmski in the LOTW....... Not sure what to do about that just yet...

Swaray still starting is worrisome. Listing Eli as a g and Dobson as a c is silly. Should’ve naturalized American’d jeffcoat and started haba but of course we aren’t doing that. Kramdi is listed as a starter and gtd over Darby. Also list Agudosi on the ar with mccrae. 8 WRs for 5 spots, with maybe no back up db or imp dt. I am excited to see Lawson and jeffcoat come back in on dl.

I sure hope not. Dyce deserves time. He’s still trying to clean up plops mess of a roster. With jones on the verge of getting canned too and maybe even coach O I can see a race to fire starting. That way front offices start their search early and get the best guy available. At least in theory. Bad for the league to have multiple in season firings though. Jones will be a net gain by getting him out.

yup...will be a lil ripple effect for sure...Hansen and Haba spelling off the Jeff's...and in sets all together like we did with the Jeff's and Kongbo/Hansen will be a nice group. Lawson will give us way more than what Jake does...and likely WALKER who needs to pick up his game and show us all this "stuff" Osh rambles on about...I have yet to see it other than a few sporadic plays...Having Ford back would be huge....He could be an 8th Canadian starter on the corner and allow us to dress that other import DB...or DT...or get Cole back on roster who we miss on tams...Him and Miller back...and Hansen for that matter will be huge for our cover units

yeah I can see some Lawson and 3 de sets and it causing some issues....Jeffcoat as well when used in middle is pretty effective....He's prob the best pure pass rusher on the roster, and is good against run...when healthy, he's prob the best all around dlineman in the CFL

I would go heavy on the DT side if at all possible. The Montrael run game scares me more than their passing game. I also think the extra O-lineman is in for more run blocking on our side. I almost get the feeling this game will be decided by who can run the ball the best.

it's not about the reporting, it's about the information that the team releases.... and they choose to release very little, in order to protect the players' privacy as much as possible. I'm not saying I agree or disagree, just saying that's how it is and it's certainly not the reporters fault. They just don't have anything to work with.

Could really use some good reporting. They don’t have to say it’s this injury or that or super serious or not. Just let us know if they might be back sooner than 6 or not, what’s going on with lawler, if and when guys are getting close.

If it wasn’t for jakes age and miles I would say dig up another ni dt and start him and Lawson dump walker all together. If we could find a reasonable rotational ni dt we could still make it work. We just really need to smarten up with the imp dt spot. Once that’s done and we are a bit healthier this front will be a monster. Just getting healthy is going to be like a making a couple massive pick ups. still miller Hansen rose Houston Parker and kyrie to come back. Maybe half way recovered from the ir bug to start the year. This D is gonna be excellent if we can get and stay healthy. I feel like the cfl has gone don Mathew’s with rosters. Far more guys moving around playing different positions on d. More getting the best players on the field than strict positional limits. We seem to be behind the times on that other than dl.

Jones getting fired would be a relief to many- maybe even him. Life cannot be enjoyable for him these days.

they have 23 snaps as a Canadian...So say WJ is the national....he can play 23 snaps in place of Thomas or Lawson so we can sub in an import for them...or any other declared starting Canadian on the defense if we declare more than 1

I still don’t think the D is gonna look much better without some more help at tackle…Lawson yeah, just he can’t spell Jake and Ricky Walker at the same time. If we were rostering Fox, I’d feel a bit better but we still need an American pile pusher from outside the club. Parker is the one I’m wanting back the most at DB. While my memory is not as good as it use to be - didn't Jones do the same thing last year as well? I seem to remember him making multiple roster changes for just about every game last year also. What a sad commentary on the franchaise in Edmonton - once a proud franchaise and the hated empire throughout the league to bottom feeder status.
