The lions are experts at picking through our ol left overs lol. The riders are expertly bad at it. Ringmaiden has contributed a ton of talent scouting and managing. And doman has been great as an owner. But the lions are still building a team that keeps getting worse on the field and in culture. I feel like change is gonna be brewing for them as soon as they dip in performance.

Captain obvious here, special teams becomes even more crucial in the playoffs. Being one of the best 5 v 5 hockey team in the league ultimately means squat if your pp and pk sucks bum.

Yeah Tkachuk is the same guy who was admittedly laughing his ass off when his teammate took a slapper into an empty net not too long ago. He has zero room to be upset about something like this.

Flaherty also did not start as a performer, he began his career as a production assistant with Second City in Chicago with no intention of ever going on stage. He got roped into filling roles whenever an extra body was needed and began his career mostly by being in the right place at the wrong time.

Sandler definitely had to look away multiple times so he didn't completely break. I loved Farley, I don't know how anyone kept a straight face around him during those skits.

If you're somehow new to that podcast (and I'm not sure how that's possible...) they are very well done. Some better than others but they're all good. The Doug Brown one in season one is fantastic. The first Andrew Harris one is really good. Any of the Paddy Neufeld ones...

With Chris jones being Chris jones and us having 3 picks in the top 20, I wonder if either side would entertain a trade? Dublanko would be a great fit for us and could learn under and beside biggie. Instead of having to be an immediate starter he could be a heavy rotation guy which could allow us to get more games out of biggie and kyrie. Jones would probably want a pick or two and an imp player but I think we could make a decent trade for both sides. I’d also be interested in moving up to another spot if it meant we got to lock in our pick of Dumoulin Duguay, una, and hergel.
