I just don't understand the difficulty the Jets are having in bringing consistent high levels of structured intensity to their every shift. Puck battles, forechecking, back checking etc lacks energy that is totally opposite of how the Avs are playing. To me that means lack of preparation, discipline, focus etc. Toffoli didn't seem in the game at all. No energy, disinterested.

Absolutely. Except that it was 50 min of getting dominated. And the tiring narrative around Helle, the “best goalie in the world” and “shoe in for the Vezina trophy” gets very aggravating when it doesn’t translate into playoff performance. What a pile of hot garbage. Jets look like **** and while Helle has been unreal at times, he's also let in some muffins. That first goal was embarrassing as a pro goalie. 10 goals given up in two games... While that's not all on Helle, that is not Jets hockey.

So in order to strengthen the game … you want to take what? 60 collegiate football players and somehow convince them to dedicate themselves to the game of football for half the regular salary, they don’t get to travel with the team to learn about what it’s like to be a pro on the road, they don’t get to make a living wage and they basically just get to what? Become special teams crash test dummies because they’re already the bottom of the totem pole as far as athletic talents go (otherwise they would hold a better spot on the roster) and their development is being accelerated at half the pace of their teammates?

Fajardo put up 290 3 tds and 1 pick. It’s an offensive, passing league. The two loses blame starts and ends at qb. Other players and positions could’ve won the game for us. But we lost it on offence.

I as gonna say the exact thing....and doesnt hurt to have a backup place kicker in case of an injury...a global punter is a waste unless he is something special and consistantly swings the tide of game in your favour (and that Global would be down south anyway)...a DL guy...DB...gives you way more benefits, and an overall better roster

It's been said already, but it really is a shame that Brady got robbed of the MOP award. The League could have had a guy who at least appears to be a proud Canadian, playing for his home team and literally rescues puppies, as the face of the league....instead they have a Chad...

Castillo has been a full time punter in the league, he has 134 punts in his career. We also have the rights to 2-3 other global punters from previous drafts.

He probably also thinks that because Auston Matthews scored in game 2 that Toronto is now going to rattle off 3 more straight wins and beat Boston because Auston Matthews Everyone is so eager to throw away the regular season matchups... but the fact is that the Jets dominated the Avs in all 3 meetings. Also conveniently lost in this, is that the Jets played Colorado's "game" in game 1 and still WON. Jets play Jets hockey the rest of the series, I'm confident we're going to round 2.

Anyone else irritated by the fact they got Janarion hurt last year by running him up the gut on a gimmick play? I’m all for using ST weapons as part of the offence, but running a 170lb returner up the middle was very foolish imo.

They could have given the MOP to Brady who'd be an excellent face of the CFL but they gave it to King Douchebag.

It's not so bad as of today, but I wonder how seniors in 15 or so years will be able to survive on a smaller income. At least many of the current seniors are/were able to get ahead financially since they were able to purchase a house for a fair price and then sell it at the current insane high levels. Middle class is also shrinking at a scary rate so I'm going to guess down the road Canada will be similar to the States in which you see seniors working hard until the day they die.
