Thats precisely why he is the GOAT. I wont hear any argument for guys like Simon, Pitts, etc. Those guys had MVP caliber QB's over their careers. Milt had 4 years with Khari, 5 years with Glenn, and 5 years with dogshit. If he would of had decent QB's from 1995-1999.....Good lawwwwwwwd. And if he would of had Pitts' QB's for his career.........Were talking 20,000+ yards.

That's a pretty big penalty on Argos if they don't get relief on his bonus.

Well, Kelly's character flaws have come to roost just as I and many other predicted. Bluto, I know this smarts but todaso. If he is able to come back after 9 games, and that is a big IF given his history, will that give the Toronto media enough time to annoint him MOP again over more deserving players? Maybe not the consummate leader but misunderstood pro you thought he was Bluto?

The numbers milt put up despite having only a couple seasons with elite qb play.... it's just mind bottling. Imagine if he'd had better qbing throughout his career?

The wording in the CFL statement is pretty clear and it's not a good look for the Argo's who filed a statement of defense last week stating they had no knowledge of this stuff and what they did know wasn't quite what she said. They say they are going be talking to the club about their role in this but if the investigation showed that Kelly clearly violated the policies, I don't see how there won't be punishment coming for the Argo's front office as well.

He did. He chided the argos league office and Kelly deservedly so imo. wow this is kind of shocking. Using a league or team investigation is fast. The argos and Kelly just disputed the claim. Heavy handed late and right after the dispute is very peculiar. I am glad the league is taking a serious stance on this.

There has never been a better receiver in the history of the CFL and I will never, ever be swayed in that opinion. Milt was the only thing worth watching through many very lean years for our team.

Morris in the Village was his handle during call in shows on OB and the like. He is a former radio guy and actually did help me once upon a time with a move from one gig to another. But man he's batshit nuts for sure...

So glad the league did the right thing (the wait didn’t look good, but in light of the independent investigation into the matter it’s understandable). The Argos whole organization is going to have endure be “Blackhawked”, but it will ultimately be best for this league going forward.

This is a great point. If the argos are any bit as guilty as it’s been made out they should immediately be punished and not get support. That said I don’t think the league will punish the argos in a way that hurts their on the field quality.

There's no way the league is going to give a break on any sms punishment to a team they're investigating. That would be an absolutely horrible look.

I’d be shocked if it happened - Rourke was pretty outspoken about the way this was all handled, it‘d be a real “money talks” situation if he were to turn around and sign with a team that tried to bury it

Yeah Murphy & Pinball were mentioned by name (along with others). Not sure Murphy tried to bury it but when it was brought to his attention (allegedly) he kind of blamed her for opening a can of worms that didn't need to be opened.

Mike O'Shea said that pound-for-pound Janarion Grant was undoubtedly the toughest player on the squad. Of course no one is irreplaceable. But guaranteed whoever is returning kicks this season will not be in Grant's class. I feel bad for him because the ankle/foot injury that cost him was a really dumb play call - a handoff that had him running a counter up the gut into heavy traffic.

He will be missed. Maybe he's dead.
