  1. Turns out the wins are ******* off.

  2. Bombers were winning when the injury occured. Its hard to judge how the game would have gone without the injury. They fell behind i think mostly because of how horrible Streveler looked in the 3rd quarter. In hindsight it was probably him being too ampt or rust ect. Then in the 4th quarter it was probably the best quarter of quarterback play we've got this season. He showed actual potential as a drop back passer IMO.

  3. Brown is looking pretty damn solid in terms of playing a clean game but also having that ability to make every throw and open it up. Gonna be sad watching his career and lots of wins unfold somewhere else.

  5. Bombers brought back Kody Case.

  6. Collaros has no doubt had rock solid MVP regular seasons, come playoffs, I cant remember him at all carrying our team in the playoffs. Our Oline sure isn't helping, Streveler isn't our future and Dru couldve been. Its dreaming but Id love to make the Pitch to Nathan Rourke in the offseason. If we're really serious about winning it at home next year, we need to detatch from being loyal to some of these aging vets and bring in younger talent.

  7. he also escaped pressure and hit some the secondary targets....or got positive yards withhis legs...ZC...that wouldnt have happened

  9. Sounds like every receiver I've ever met. Would have had 2000 yards and 25 TDs if QB would have just thrown me the ball. Forget the fact that when the plays were there to be made they quit on their route or dropped the ball. God I hate receivers.

  10. Yeah, some things just aren’t fair. Nevermind football, a special person like that being taken from their family is a ******* travesty.

  11. I don’t know how anything else would be but I’m damn sure Eli would be our center and Tre Thomas would be our starting WIL lol

  12. He is obviously listening to Osh's recommendations tho...and I don't think Osh uses the right factors to justify his assessments. Time for Walter's now to over rule...You can bet your life the discussions were had...ZC or Dru Brown and Osh pushed and said ZC is the guy...and I sure that happened on many players...and now it's killing us. Crappy part...isn't ZC garuanteed a big amount for 2025? That's gonna totally hamstring us next yr and basically ensure he's back..

  14. The whole team rested on their laurels, even the veteran players have yet to accept that a multitude of teams have surpassed them in ability. They're still in denial that they are being outplayed and think it's somehow all going to fall into place one of these days. Staying on top is so difficult to balance, it's pretty much impossible.

  15. Hamilton is an amazingly bad football team for the talent they have on their roster, something is deeply wrong with that organization.

  16. Yeah Collaros mobility has declined significantly even since 2021. There's not much scrambling anymore. You need an all-time elite OL to keep him producing. And that's hard to do even if you spend money on OL. Like our OL peaked in 19-21 and has been declining since. I don't feel we'd be much better off if we paid Hardrick if at all. He was quite bad last season and isn't lighting it up in Sask.

  17. Yes, that has certainly been overlooked. Ahhh the heady days of strange characters on OB. Then was also a guy who always wrote long posts in third person. Dedos - IIRC Everyone wants to FO

  18. Strev threw to all the receivers Zach ignored.
    3 points
  19. I know you can’t judge it fully, but I really think Calgary would have steamrolled Zach up the middle. I don’t think it ends close without Streveler. Even in the 3rd when Strev was figuring it out we got comparable results to Zach’s. Streveler can throw the ball as an actual quarterback.
    3 points
  20. As we've seen recently Collaros has a penchant to throw to familiar faces, despite the amount of time Agudosi spent on the club Zach never embraced him and rarely threw a ball his way. A QB should not pick favourites, he should be a vessel to move the ball efficiently through wherever it needs to go. By continually ignoring certain receivers Zach short-circuits Buck's game plan with diminished results.

  21. I'd be blown away to see either one of those guys leave before next year. This team doesn't need to be blown up. They're likely sitting at 2-2 if not for injuries. I'm not saying things will be fine this year. Just thatnthis regime will be in place until well into 2025. Wade wants a home GC win and doing it with the mafia.

  24. There is lots I like and will comment on...but I am also not an idiot and boot licker...and been around the game a long time..in various capacities...and still am...and when I see for a lack of a better word "stupid" stuff going on I will say it. And not to say I told you so...but last yr already...actually even late 2022 I started on this.. and to say we need to be very wary/careful cause i could see what's coming..and where it may lead us...and lots u all laughed...mocked it...etc..etc...well here we are...I have seen this and been part of it first hand so was very obvious to me...and a few others No clue tho what u talking about in regards to some fan wanting to be coach..I don't recall that. That being said I know if I was handed the reigns in Jan 2024 we'd be sitting at 3-1 right now at minimum

  25. Saskatchewan. #1 they have an even older qb and #2 their insane bomber envy would be a natural fit to try and be winnipeg.

  26. I have to agree...if Collaros stayed in...wouldnt have went to O.T....and prob been a worse loss as he would have still tried to force feed balls to 2 guys...as well have zero escapability and been sacked likely 3 more times...and thrown a bad pic

  27. Love it. Has the ability to return and was looking like the most promising new receiver in TC in my eyes. Actually kind of forgot about him to this point. Note that I absolutely think Chris Smith is our best option at returner still. But I would be lining this guy up beside him on kickoffs.

  28. That’s just it. Ottawa is in a better place moving forward at QB than most of the league. BC- Adams probably is at his ceiling, Proukop isn’t going to take the next leap. Calgary- McCheese and his even fatter backup. Edmonton- MBT is what he is. Ford could improve I guess. Us- Hinges on Strev. Not much of a future with Collaros. Sask- Same as here minus Streveler. TO- I think Dukes is quite impressive given the situation. I can’t stand Kelly, but he’ll probably be back too. They’ll be ok at QB for a while. Montreal- They’re in good shape as well. Has anyone mentioned that Fajardo’s play improved after a year of working with Calvillo? I think that’s been very overlooked. Hamilton- Powell might be good, completely unproven. BLM is more cooked than Collaros. Then Ottawa with Brown and Crum. If I’m building a CFL team from scratch, I’ll take their QB room over anyones right now. Problem there is, the rest of the team being scratch.

  29. Yeah not ever Rec can see 15 passes a game. Agudosi made some plays, but missed on some too. Guys like Scheon/Lawler etc didn't miss when they were new to the league. That's why they're still playing. I was hyped for Agudosi when he got that starting spot too. But he did nothing with it.

  30. Pretty sure Agudosi got plenty of balls his first game and then got hurt. All QBs have favourites because they need to know what a guy is going to do and where he’s going to be. I like it. He showed well before he got hurt. He had his chances. After his first game he couldn’t make the plays when needed. He had balls up to him in the end zone he didn’t bring down

  33. Brown also lead the team down the field to set up the game winning FG. He's started what 6 games? MIddle of the pack right now but a starting QB with upside and potential. Much better than having say 38 year old Harris, 36 year old Collaros, 35 year old MBT.

  34. Yes he is well connected and has a lot of experience..he'd be my guy as opposed to a recycled guy..

  35. Ahhh, hes fine- he holds the Blue to a higher standard and all that. I think of him more like the Blue Bombers Tiger MOm. I think he started in a stellar fashion with 2 tds- was injured (in the same game IIRC), went on the six game. healed up... and got hurt in his return from injury game.

  36. Garbutt is highly touted for a guy who hasn't set foot on the field. He might want to quit now while he's ahead.

  37. Personally I would go with Darryl Patterson...he has respect of players..and nice combo of some the older school coaching exposure but relates to players now. I liked what and where he came from in the States prior to coaching up here and is as close to a Richard Harris type as you will find...a man I had great respect for...and too bad he never got his chance as he would have been a long tenured and loved HC

  38. Again though... BLM and Trevor Harris are still seen as viable starters... cfl qbing is the drizzling shits right now.

  39. Haba as well, though I’m not sure he’d have made it out of camp if everyone was healthy That was around the same time as Sam Canadian, that guy who came on OB talking about how he could win the Bombers starting QB job, talking about putting on “workouts” at Assiniboine park or something. The entire team is predictable. I was saying a few weeks ago, when was the last time you saw the Bombers do anything innovative in any context?
    2 points
  40. Yet no mention that the stamps needed an injury to the Bombers starting qb to get to OT? Your Schick is as old and tires as some of the Bombers starters. Million excuses for the other team no consideration given the other way.

  43. Sure would. Damn..imagine that DL at full health with a rotation of Fox/Woods/Lawson/Adams/Willie/Garbutt.

  44. Woods beside Adams inside. That would fix a lot of our front 6 problems.

  45. Yeah, I don’t see it now either. The time for that was 6 months ago.

  46. See, to me that’s as much on Walters then. There’s a fine line between listening to your people, and letting them talk you out of making the right choices. I’d give him way more rope than MOS right now but Walters isn’t blameless either. He’s been around the league long enough to know better than to let that many key guys on the roster age out of their prime at once. There were rumblings of a rift before Walters signed his latest deal. Makes you wonder..

  47. Even if he was making the right calls, he appears to really not have the physical tools to be a good center. The fact that Eli is around makes it the most baffling of all MOS decisions to me. There’s no excuse, it has to be stubbornness at this point. There’s just no other valid reason.
