  2. Hardrick was playing really well, and as mentioned above is a true leader , he was here and all indications are he was in Sask. also...I wish him nothing but the best., and hope he has a full recovery...as for Sask. that is a big loss Sask...is starting to get hit with the injury bug, I think we match up well and expect this to be great physical game.....

  3. Schoen likely won't be ready for start of season..so if we want all 3...we will have all 3 I'd bet next yr we will run Lawler..Demski..Woli..Wilson (if this wasn't a flash in the pan) and heavy Clercius and a T.B.D 5th guy...Schoen when ready but if not who knows...is wheatfall in the pic...one game doesn't cement him in as for sure...a diff rookie...heck maybe even Lucky if he shows this yr he has value. Guarantee it will be Schoen when he's ready..and maybe he will be for start...he also off a season ender injury won't be collecting as big a salary as he could have as well...so that will help

  4. I am hoping for a 2019 style thing where they added some pieces towards the end of the year that really solidified things.

  5. IMO, no that team doesn’t win a gc, or play in one. If kolo and biggie are still playing primary reps I don’t know if we are competitive in a play off game, unless we uncover some one between now and then who is a modp/mop level addition.

  6. Watson was a beast, case of a guy hitting so hard he always broke, same with Johnny Sears.

  7. So how many fans at the game Friday are going to be disguised as empty seats?

  8. To overlook the advantage the Blue has would be a mistake. Intangibles matter. This time of year, the SK province still uses standard time, because the cows prefer it for milking. The rider players will have had a full day of milking prior to the game, which is tiring. I’ve seen a prediction of the bombers winning by scoring more than 40, but playing in standard time, we score over 50.

  9. I feel like whomever wins the turnover battle wins. What's the over/under on how many times they verbally fellatio Rider fans? 100?150?

  10. Score wise idk what to expect. The riders give up the most passing yards and sacks though. I could see a coming out party type game for Adams and or woods. The riders run D has been very good, but buck has a habit of passing to run lately and that could work very well. The riders passing o isn’t good and our pass D is maybe the best. I don’t think the riders will commit to running but will hurt us when they do. Probably some thing like 13 caries 100 yards for aj. I think we will control TOP, and drive the field a lot, but struggle to cash in. Another big night for Sergio. The riders also force a crazy amount of turn overs, I think either way this goes we have a decent chance of seeing strevy if zach doesn’t protect the ball. Biggie shouldn’t play D any more in the cfl. Dudes toast.

  11. I hope so but man I am skeptical... bighill was allowed to play in the grey cup when he had no business playing, not sure even as bad an outing as he had last week is enough for oshea to change course on that particular player.

  13. we always seem to run well against Sask...Don't see that changing...expect a few defensive changes this week too for us...so thats gonna cause patterson issues

  14. That’s a pretty high ceiling. Dude was a 1200 yard receiver in his prime. If he’s even 80 percent of that production I would consider that a great pick.

  15. Clercius is going to be a good solid national wr. Like 500-600 yards, great blocker, does the dirty work guy.

  16. I'll go all Tanya Harding on him at the gym then ...for the Forum....I'd do Jake as well but never ever see him training lol...I take beers...ceasars and porter house steaks as form of payment/appreciation....and I will film it as well just for funnsies and proof!

  17. Maybe MOS has been hoping that Biggie will come around health wise and conditioning after his injury and missing TC, who knows but i agree we need help down the middle and maybe adding Jones helps.

  18. Allright then....look closely at my middle finger, the answer you are seeking is right near the top of it. I think Yoshi himself probably knew he shouldn't be on that leg but a ballers gotta ball, and an earners gotta earn.

  19. But hopefully far better durability

  20. For sure he does, I was saying this earlier this year too. I think Clercius will end up being a key guy here. Jason Clermont-esqe.

  21. He was, just like he was here, their emotional leader both on and off the field. He made them a better line just by being there and in the room. Massive blow to the Criders who needed his confidence. He will be 6 gamed and not allowed to attend meetings or participate in practice. That will deflate an OL that was brutal last year and had rallied around his leadership.

  22. I think this may be a worsening of the same injury he fought through at times last season as well. I am not sure the RIder's brass did their due diligence on Hardrick's health. Totally get Yosh taking the payday, but last year he was having a real tough time on that leg as well. In their desperation to make a splash, I think O'Day may have been guilty of ignoring some real telling signs that Hardrick was not 100.

  23. IF Wilson shows well again this week....never mind next year...next week we could have Woli...Wilson...Demski....Whitehead....Clercius.....and potentially the following week Woli...Wilson...Demski....Lawler....Whitehead....

  25. I would have bet every cent I have that he would have gone for the single. I was literally shocked. And all business, too. No excessive celebrating. Drops the ball...points down the field...back to work.

  26. Honestly I think he could be even better, but I think he is a turn key woli role guy. Hes as smooth as bolo and with some polish he could be really special. Hes also an outlier in terms of strength for his size. He’s built like a wil

  27. That would be the dream for sure. We have some really good promising young guys that I could see taking that step next year. Woods Adams bonds griffin ford Wallace Mci clercius and even Hebert. Those guys in a healthy year next year could propel us back to the top of the west. It’s as important that we bite the bullet and get a couple vets out as finding top end guys. Especially on two wins idk if mos will be willing to do that.

  30. I don't believe they need to carry 7 ol anyway... I mean the biggest reason before was to keep Eli and Dobson on the active roster and not lose them... but is it the best use of the roster? I doubt it.

  31. With mci and clericius in the wings we might finally be able to get away from carrying 7 ol. A good lead blocker is way better than an extra 300lbser in a double tight set any way imo. Even more pointless while carrying so many ni dl

  32. No matter what, like Bailey he's not going to see a lot of balls coming his way, might as well use every snap to punish people for getting in his space.

Yes but if they mutually agree to terminate the contract then it gets wiped off the books, Canes got lucky.😊

  36. Stoddard never ever dropped...........a beer.

  37. Stoddard carved out a pretty nice career for himself standing on the LOS all by himself and waiting for the odd pass when no one bothered to cover him.

  38. We aren't talking Jamie Stoddard are we? Dare to dream?

  39. To me Clercius is just going to depend on what role he winds up in. He becomes a favored target sky is the limit. Huge dude with solid mitts... that could rack up a lot of yards.

  40. There would be no need for that. We'd still have Ontaria at a rookie salary next year. So we could have an elite receiving core.
    1 point
  41. Not as worried as Winnipeg doesn't have a receiver like Justin McInnis. Good as Ontaria Wilson is, I'm not sure he has a repeat of last week's performance.

  42. Couldn't be worse then president of the tub club Watson. Clermont is probably a reach, but he plays that same style.

  43. Injured his shoulder carrying the front 7 on his back!

  44. As long as he's getting his money, and doesn't have to wear that gross uni, it's a win. Hope he has a speedy recovery and is back to 100% before next season.
