  1. If we were playing better as a team, we’d all be loving Wilson. He’s 5th in the league in receiving, it’s just that we’re all hellbent on being grumpy about every single thing on our offense. Let the rookie be a rookie, let’s be happy we’ve at least brought in one impact player.

  2. Couldn't agree more except for "tossing ducks". Zach wasn't the problem tonight. Aside from the Montreal game, all of these games have been close. Brady should be having 15 carries bare minimum, likely closer to 20 along with a handful of checkdowns/screens. This play calling, and utilization of certain talents is baffling.

  3. In no way shape or form was it a bad call to go for it on 3rd and 1 when your Jumbo was 100% on the season had been crushing it all night, getting 3 or 4 each time...

  4. I'm at the point now where I'm ready to start the airlift and get rid of the old guys who won't be around next year anyway (Neuf, Biggie, Alexander). I know it will be bad for our chances of sneaking into the last playoff spot. It will increase our chances of bouncing back next year because we'll know which replacements are worth spending more time on. It will give the new guys half a season to figure out the league, the speed, and what it takes to be successful. It will free up some SMS space too.

  5. One game before the mid way point he’s top 5 in the league. He’s been better than just good in 2 games. He’s been schoen esq in 2 games. For a rookie he’s shown tremendous mental toughness determination and improvement. His numbers compare very favourably to rookie Kenny lawler. His catch rate is almost 2/3s which is solid. If he tightens up a bit he will be damn good. I can’t wait to see him take a step forward when the game slows down. He’s pretty much as good a pass catcher as Bailey has ever been as a rookie. Bailey is a beast blocking, a leader, and has a knack for the clutch plays. (In the regular season)

  6. Thoughts in no particular order: - Turnovers from veterans are baffling. You expect mistakes from rookies - but when your backs are against the wall you expect Demski and Brady to hang onto the ball - This offensive line is comically bad in pass protection. It's one thing to get pressure off the edge, but when it comes up the middle (looking at you Neufeld/Eli), you have no chance in the pass game - Further to that...when games are as close as they are, as they have been aside from week 1...Pound the effing rock! Buck's play calling has been baffling this year especially in close games - Special teams kick coverage was outstanding tonight and I thought we were adequate, though not spectacular in our own return game - Johnson can get his apple and road map tomorrow. It's week 8 and you're getting yelled at with the play clock winding down that you're lined up wrong. Yikes. - Thought we did a better job generating pressure than we have in a long time. - Ad Naseum...Bighill/Alexander...Holy eff. Time to go. - Kramdi had maybe his best game as a pro - Pound the rock. These games are close. All of them except week 1. Brady needs 15-20 carries a game and Streveler should have at least 5-8 not including sneaks. You might as well have just kept Prukop at this point - Further to play calling. Perhaps an alcohol fuelled thought, but towards the end of the third I was thinking I actually miss Lapo as an OC - Hope going forward? Would we have won tonight with Lawler, Lucky and Bailey in the lineup? I like to think so -Which is certainly in the realm of possibility moving forward

  7. Like the call. Bad spot bottom line. Closer than it should’ve been but he got there. Btwn that and the non-call PI, refs have huge impact on the outcome.

  10. How the **** do they not call RTP on a late headshot but then pull the QB due to the spotter? How much more shame do they need before they do their jobs?

  11. 1 the fumble few. Bad drops too but just repeatedly gave the ball away 2 bigstill sucks. Ran over repeatedly pushed past for free yards. 3 ole ol. Soo much easy pressure and Strev doing all the work in short yardage crappy honker to the refs/cc. That spot was bs so was the none pi call. how do guys get pulled for head shots but the refs dont call the hits lol. honourable mentions kramdi Hubert woods adams Wilson jones the secondary and kick cover team.

  12. I don't know why folks are complaining about Wilson's catching ability. He caught the TD ball 3 times.

  13. Yep he's had tough moments at times this season. The TD to INT ratio is a problem. However, tonight he was not the reason we lost. In fact I'd go so far to say tonight was one of his better games of the year throwing for 300 plus yards while the interior of the line was caved in for the entire second half.

  14. I liked the call to go for it on 3rd and 1. Play to win and getting that gives a chance to score with no time left. Clusterfuck of others errors. Just have to laugh or go crazy with all the fumbles and missed FGs.

  15. he was 13 for 13 on the yr....and got screwed on a **** call tonight...he's hardly an issue

  16. If you can’t get a yard in the CFL when it matters you don’t deserve to win. No issue with the call.

  21. Win the Grey Cup at home? Absolutely worth it IMO. Zach is gone after next year. You're starting over regardless. Go out with a bang or at least fall guns a blazing. But I understand the counter-point.

  22. True story and with some pride, I ripped a few during the game and on one of them, the dog left the room.

  23. What a putrid loss. I don't mind losing games but the way we gave this away was sickening. Four fumbles. One Pick 6. Our OL sucked again. It always does. The OL isn't good enough yet the same players keep playing. Nothing changes. All we see on the sidelines is "Oh, gosh darn!!" when they make a mistake. I want to see a coach, ANY COACH, ripping a few on the sidelines. I don't want to see them getting patted on the head like it's okay when they screw up. There's no passion from the coaching staff at all. There's no accountability.

  26. Yup! He DID make that 1st down. But the refs were useless crap, and the command centre is worse.

  27. Ref and CC terrible but anything but a putrid brain dead offense wins that game easily. FO list: - Everyone in offense, from the HC to the OC to the QB to the water boy.

  36. I’ve never seen a player with more heart or physicality than strevy. At any position. I’ve seen guys with a similar level but no one who clearly had or played with more. Insane for a qb.

  49. I’d like to see more Case at receiver. He’s quick out of his breaks. Seems a lot more confident than most of the American receivers we’ve played this year.
