B... C... Sucks!

Ready for our usual game day experience of Stella's breakfast followed by many breweries across the city before heading to the tailgate area tonight. I maintain the reason for our bad luck this year has been a lack of Onkel Goerg's on the Stone Angel patio before each game ... But here's hoping for a better outcome tonight anyhow. It's going to be a great night for football!

My nephew who is a Lieutenant in the Canadian Military would be there tomorrow at the game as he is now based out of Shiloh but he just was ordered to go with his platoon to go help with disaster relief in Jasper. So proud of that kid.

Well can add 2 more. Decided what the heck, let’s go to the game. Taking my daughter. Should be fun. We are going on vacation leaving next Friday so why not enjoy the Winnipeg weather cuz who knows what stupid Florida gonna be like. Bombers haven’t lost with my kid in attendance. Yes that’s only like 3 games but bodes well. It’s kinda crazy that what I pay for 2 at PAS is basically what I pay for one with the Jets.

It's going to be a gorgeous night... There's no better party anywhere in the city, and tickets are inexpensive.... Win or lose, there's no reason not to come to a Bombers home game. Especially when we only get 9 or 10 a year....

For the last couple years we have played BC at home in June and I have missed the game while travelling on business. We will be at the game tonight and I am "feeling" a better outcome. Not happy with the roster we are putting out there, will be angry about how O'Sh uses some guys but still hopeful for a positive outcome. GO BLUE!!!!

Players to watch #69 Kendall Randolph. Taking the place of neufeld he has a chance to turn around our ok play in a big way. Dobson and lofton have improved so if Randolph can help cover for kola we have a decent chance to protect zach. I worry about his ability to be effective in the run game but that will remain to be seen. lucky 13, boy we really could use a shot in the arm to our wr core and some dynamic game play on the offence. 33 Tony jones looked good last week, both on D and on teams. Hopefully as he gets more comfortable in our system he will shine even more. honourable mention to the return of Jake Kelly.

You know it's a tough season when the GDT "devolves" into 80s LB corps...

Heard they're trying some new techniques in order to help in this area.

More and more I'm believing it's this lack of protection and lack of viable receiving options that is making ZC8 look worse than he is. I think Collaros still has game but needs a MUCH better team around him.

Bit of both haha. I’ve got family that goes and spend the whole game at the rum hut, 90% for the atmosphere drinks 50/50 etc. and that’s not a knock on them or the team. They’ve done an incredible job of building a cool area that young people love. One of my cousins has become a bomber fan entirely because of the rum hut party every home game.

Eli had a bit of a rough go in pass pro, but he was playing out of position and getting his first meaningful reps... Let’s give him a chance. He’s way too good to not find his groove if given a real opportunity.

Fly overs at the PAS are pretty lame. How many people in the building actually have a sight line of it? From my seats in 125 you can see it when it is approaching from the south until it gets close to the stadium and then nothing but the noise...

I only like fly overs with Jets. Need that load afterburner going. Hits ya in the chest

Didn't Delbert Fowler have a funny nick name?? I do remember him sort of tall for a LB from what I can remember. Man I would love to see a LB core like we had back then. Heck I can go back even farther. I came up here in 1971 thinking I could make the Bomber team. Only thing I ended up with is my wife of 53 years - so I guess I won???

Gonna have prolly the largest plane used in a fly over tonight as well.

Hope to see a good game tonight (I live in calgary but will be in front of my TV with my diet coke from start to finish). I really miss attending the games. When we lived in Winnipeg I loved hearing the ol chat "BC Sucks!" - I still remember to this day when the Lions came to the old stadium with Roy Dewalt as their QB and the bombers defence introduced the 3-4 for the first time. 4 linebackers (James West, maybe Gregg Battle and I can not remember the other two) and they absolutley destroyed Dewalt and the BC offense. The Lions were the heavy favorite that day. I assume they are the heavy favorites tonight also. But that is why you play the game.

It’s also been the hallmark of Zach’s best (and most consistent) seasons.

Adding more imports to a struggling OL - makes the Canadians at other positions that much more valuable. ZC played decent last game - hope to see better pass pro going forward. And I'd say it's about time. A good OL has been a hallmark of this management group.

Pretty impressive for a 2-6 team

Kendall Randolph is a pretty interesting guy. Played for Alabama for 4 years but mostly as tight end and 6th OL. He made 2 starts at left guard in his senior season then went to camp with the Seahawks and got into 3 preseason games at Guard before being released. Seems like a high-ceiling guy but not a lot of experience, we'll see how he looks in prime time.
