It was one of the loudest non playoff games I’ve ever been too. Also I’ve never seen such few green jerseys at the banjo bowl. Seems to be getting less and less every year.

Exactly. You can’t be a black hole out there as a target. You have to keep a defense honest. If Johnson can’t be relied upon to catch the ball or stretch the field he’s absolutely a waste of a roster spot. Put Wheatfall out there, he’s a big target, Zach’s been missing that deep shot player most of the season. Let the defense have to worry about someone other then Lawler or Demski going deep.

Rewatching a bit tonight, I missed most of the first half for my kids birthday party. 5 minutes in and I’m already irritated at the commentary. I can’t express how much better the LDC was to watch with Lapo doing CC. Also, outside of a west final I’m not sure I’ve ever heard the stadium that loud on TV. Truly impressive. Props to all those who were there, big time.

Our Canadians as a group on the OL are probably the worst in the entire league right now. It would be between us and Sask. We have 3 TD's of 24 not scored by the O. 1 by the D, 2 on special teams fumble recoveries. That's 88% on O, 12% any other way. So not quite what you're spewing here. We did have teams that had historic takeaway records from 2016-2022. This team is nowhere near that. D is not taking the ball away.

I'd feel more comfortable if we just had one or two games where our O has a strong showing for four quarters and gets TD's instead of FG's. How insane is it that Brady still hasn't scored a TD!? Can we get a few games in a row with 30+ points please and thank you.

I'd be in Corny's ear in 2022 on a crap crap team and environment he threw for almost 2800 yards with 11 TD's and 9 picks....ran for 500 more with 7 td's Plus he has history with Lawler and Lawler made some crazy sick catches with Corny tossing the ball out to him....That be my target Plus he only 28....and really many a player has looked significantly better in a new environment...We have seen the Prukopps...Pipkins...Bananaboy....all still look like garbage in multiple places

well....he blowing Jackson's stats and purpose from last year right out of the country if thats a plus hahahaha...so thats a net gain lol But yeah in all honesty....why?....and Clercius/Whitehead could easily fill his role in what we doing....and allow us another import elsewhere....one that would make an actual impact And like someone else mentioned Nationalize Whitehead and he and Clercius could freely come in for one another....designate 7 nationals on offence if we choose to keep Neuf as a starter and have the ability to go all import on defense save for Ford...

It is just mind boggling that Johnson is still starting. He has 138 yards receiving in 10 games. Still has not passed Schoen's totals from not even 3 full games and Schoen didn't have a great start to the season. The last 4 games he has 2 catches for 21 yards. How is this acceptable for an import receiver? For the love of god please try someone else there.

Drew Edwards was good, despite being a Hammy guy. He and Dunk carried it in the beginning. That anonymous insider thing was the best they ever did. It’s not as bad now as say 2 or 3 years ago. The leading running back in the whole league for TD's has 5. On pace for like 8 over a full 18 game season. Streveler leads league in rushing TD's with 10. They don't get TD's because if the ball is from basically the 3 yard line in teams are putting short-yardage QB's in.

I thought it was a lost season as much as anyone on here, right through to the home and home with BC but now I don’t know. I’m actually getting a good feeling. What’s everyone’s thoughts on Edmonton? They actually worry me, they’ve got a lot of weapons, especially the run game. I think our secondary can handle them but if we dress 5/6 DL and they stick with the run it could get dicey.

I kind of wish that the CFL would tidy up the language in their roughing the passer Vs the NFL "Even if the initial contact is above the knee" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there and is definitely within the spirit of the rule. If you hit higher up and slide/roll down it is still as potentially catastrophic as hitting directly there. You can start making the argument about being 'blocked' into it but the point of contention of "well he initiated contact above the knee!" is a bit disingenuous. And I didn't find exiting the bowl/stadium all that bad from the 200s, what was kind of a shitshow was the Bike Valet. It was packed on Saturday and people come from both sides of the stadium and a line just kind of... coalesces near the guard rail but its not very clear. It would be useful to have some stadium staff there to assist with getting people into the line up in an orderly fashion.

I'd sign Tre Ford even if he was Cauchey Muamba 2.0 if that meant his brother reupped with us. That said, Tre would be a nice QB of the future/guy to pair with Zach.

my experience in the game has seen many a player mask their dirty play quite well, and make seems seem "innocent" or "Unintentional" but still accomplishes the goal....Our beloved HC was one of those guys and really good at it...was a real prick to be honest on the field....and I actually applaud that and played same way...different time...different game....different player laws/code were in effect....the wild days Brown tho....not saying he intentionally did that last game ( Tho the Brown one and the ZC were clearly intent) ....but I also can say he knew exactly what the result may have been doing it...and took his shot...he could have totally not hit him...as well if he wasn't in total control he could have avoided the wrap up with arms to hold him in place as well....and driving his full weight into a QB who couldn't move and was pinned in place...that part as total intent, and totally avoidable....but alas...he took the opportunity to do it...so that part was intentional dirtball play

Someone had to say something, when a goon takes your qb out.....This guy took out Drew in the Ottawa game earlier in the year ....Head smacks Zack in the previous game, takes Streve out and he pleads innocent.....He's a clean player though, according to Suitor....the evidence is mounting to say different....
