  3. Nope. Great leaders know when to lead, know when to follow and know when to get the hell out of the way.

  7. And yet, our numbers are great in other defensive categories. It's actually quite the phenomenon. Say what you will about this management group - they are more than capable when it comes to scouting and coaching the secondary.

  8. I really don't see a scenario where he and WIllie could be on the field at the same time. We'd get gashed badly by any QB who had a moderate football IQ. We need a guy who gets off the line and disrupts the pocket. Not more guys who play basketball defense on a football field.

  9. Bottom line: I would say the Bombers have a decent chance of winning at least 3 more games Labour day is not a close game if ZC stays in - and that would not have been their first blow out Banjo Bowl was a good example of doing what it takes to win There are some many interesting intangibles with this team - so many different aspects that can show up in any game Making do with a patch work OL, Brady O churning yards on check downs, Ford interceptions, certain DBs with lockdown coverage, Sergio, outstanding kick coverage, ZC hitting more shots to Lawler or Demski, etc. The Als are trending downward, as are the Lions. Toronto and Ottawa are huge question marks. The Elks look interesting but also quite beatable Just my 0.02

The fact that ties exist in football in 2024 is a joke and embarrassing. Should adopt the OT rules in the NCAA.

  16. Mass changes... agreed... but if this offseason there is an elite pass rusher and/or offensive tackle available in FA... the Bombers would be wise to pursue both... even if it means potentially going over the cap

No you're the one who thinks leaders are the most important thing. You must think Donald Trump is a hell of a leader eh? He embodies everything you're saying a leader should be.

Goldeyes almost pulled a miracle out of their butts in the 9th inning again but now they'll have to take the lead and keep it otherwise a new season of Radio Classics starts this week on CJNU

  23. Reminder... Never work for me! You have the deadly combination of ignorance combined with arrogance. Blindly following isn't leadership. Putting yourself 2nd is a definition of a follower. I want honesty in my leaders. Saying the 'right thing' when you think your leader is wrong is dishonest. Note: This doesn't mean you can't support your team. It means that you shouldn't blindly support people above you in the chain of command. Leaders sell the dream and get buy in to that dream. That's why it was the "I have a dream speech", not the "this other guy has the dream and I'mma gonna follow it" speech. MAGA's follow their leader blindly and make excuses for his behavior. They are committed to the team and the result, putting themselves 2nd to their great leader. Anyone who thinks that makes them leaders themselves are simply wrong about leadership.

  24. There is also a time to disagree and commit so the whole team can move on. Should anyone be happy about being benched? No Should you pout and come of as whiny in front of the whole team? No Take it up with the coach behind closed doors. Don't let it spill over to affect any one else. And if ultimately you can't reconcile differences with management, you leave for a better situation as soon as you can.

  28. So 3clown nation had Montreal in first in their power rankings this week, somehow B.C. second and Ottawa third. Bombers winners of 5 dropped 2 spots. Would love to hear their dipshit reasoning this week if Montreal loses to complete the Trifecta.

  36. Netflix has the least must watch content, but the most I just want to find something to watch content. Prime keeps dropping in quality, but the wife orders **** on Amazon 4 days a week so I keep it Paramount has some stuff worth watching, but no must watches. I do enjoy Stallone still hanging around, season 2 of Tulsa King starts tomorrow. Crave is way overpriced and has the worst app. It's a subscribe for specific content then cancel service. Apple TV I've had for a could years for $0 because there's always a promo somewhere for a few months free. I wouldn't pay for it. Good content but very limited content.

  42. They've been saying too much TV can rot a person's mind since the early 60's, that statement has never been truer than today. As usual, less is more. Excessive TV-watching — defined as four or more hours daily — is associated with a greater risk of developing brain-based disorders such as dementia, depression, and Parkinson's disease, a new analysis suggests.Mar 1, 2024
