I'm happy about getting Wheatfall back. It's nice to have more weapons for Collaros and a chance to get him going before the playoffs.

Nice having Bryant and Wilson back...Like too seeing Wheatfall over Johnson....and MCI back...hope they can incorporate him a bit and help his progression DA for an import O-line guy tho at expense of beefing up the D-Line against a running team and mobile QB...just plain poor choice

I think they're only hope is to try and keep pace with Edm and hope the tie sneaks them in... IMO the west playoff field will be Winnipeg, BC and Edmonton

Imo Mike Sellers was the Dustin Bufuglien of football. Fun to watch.

Also worth noting that we are with out a back up ni wr. So if clercius or demski goes down we have to fundamentally change all our packages. Of course this could also have been insured against if we just used lucky as a NA, then he'd be able to go in for them for half the snaps in the game.

IMO, overall a net positive: Stanley > Vanterpool Wheatfall > Johnson Wilson > Bridges MCI < Woli Dolegala < Strev As others have mentioned... the only thing I'm disappointed in is not finding a way to get Adams on the roster... I feel like the DL played it's best with him in

Stegall got hurt in like the last week of the season, it was ribs. Robert's got hurt first series in the West final, Doug brown was playing through a high ankle sprain and the edmonton grounds grew made sure the turf was abysmal.

That's a great sum up of what lifelong longterm Bombers fans have endeared so I have no issues with us being a bit edgy when we win or lose. 🙂

Wow, Edmonton’s got kind of a killer DL, even before adding Rage Pee Leonard. I hope we see more of the quick/ball control stuff, this is not the game to keep Zach sitting in the pocket. Still don’t see what they do in Haba. Still don’t see why Adams is on the PR. Good thing Leake is still out but Kevin Brown is no slouch either. Gonna be a couple tight games.

6 game. He's on crutches and while it isn't impossible that he'd be back at the end of the year, I highly doubt he will. That kid was every thing advertised and soo much more. I especially love that he's taking it on him self to hone his physique into some thing better for the cfl. I look forward to seeing what he brings to camp next year. With polish far exceeding what was expected, and a year with marty plus an offseason I would not be surprised if he steals a starting G spot next year.

Did they get rid of the in/out on the depth chart this year? I swear we could tell who was on and off the roster last year without needing to think back to the last game. Fortunately it is easy to find out, but kind of annoying, especially after a bye.

Di for the 7th ol, vs just 6 dl including a couple none factors is disappointing. Adam’s off and only 6dl vs the elk is a huge risk. The door is open for them to bully ball us to death. yup...thats the only real head scratcher...especially against this team With Clercius...MCI on roster more than enough beef to run bigger packages with still having Eli as the 6th and let Schmeck who did fine as the other brute in jumbo grow into that role and be a nice multi-use guy on both lines. And seeing as we claim Jake is the other O-line guy any way well then use him as such in the rare case you have 2 guys go down for the game...Let TSN slobber all over that story like M.Johnson Burning a DA on an O-line man when he will prob get 6....7 snaps a game ...Basically insignificant ones instead of an impact guy on your dline who will prob get 30+ snaps...and play some teams...is about as brain numb as the whole Jackson stupidity last yr...at least he played some ST tho wasn't a standout by any means Wilson will help with the run defence....he can range with the best of them...Our DT's save for Woods are weak as **** tho it's a miracle hahah

Has he? He has two carries for 9 yards neither of which resulted in a first down. That's not all on him - I find our offence as a whole to be stagnant but Lucky hasn't been a difference maker. Outside of the BC game(s), he's done VERY little on offence and isn't seeing the field a tonne. Truthfully, I'd rather have let Smith grow with the KR role and try to work him into the offence as a compliment to Brady.

Having Lucky on offence seemed to open up things more for our offence. Hes been good on sweeps at critical moments and adds a lot of options. On kick returns at least hes runnong north south .

Even then, he’d have to be rolling at some point. 3 seconds into any pass play kola is facing the wrong way or face down on the ground. We are pretty evenly matched on the year in terms of sacks allowed and elk sacks generated. Both right in the middle. But we haven’t seen consistency much of the year in our ol line up. We’ve also got the fewest big plays on offence and edm is tied with us for fewest big plays surrendered. It’s very likely the whole game comes down to who runs the ball better.

Re: Lucky... I'm thinking more about the first game he played this season where he wasn't on returns and was just on offense. Had a TD and was a crucial safety blanket for Zach ..

Funny you mention this... I had about 15 mins to kill yesterday and flipped open youtube and came across that... only got about half way through the first but I definitely plan to watch the whole thing!

That leg whip at the end was absolutely intentional he used the momentum to disguise it. In my opinion he has been coached up on these tactics at some level. You used to see these things being coached many years ago, thankfully most modern ethical coaches have gone away from this practice for the overall betterment of the game.

It may or not be intentional, but there is a severe lack of body control and/or awareness on that guy, just like the hits on Brown and Streveler this year.

Houston is a no brainer instant rivalry with the Stars, 4th biggest market in the US, Atlanta has failed twice before not sure it works this time around either but that sweet sweet expansion money is tough to say no to.
