  1. I feel like the general consensus around here going into last week was that this line-up was the best that the Bombers have fielded so far this season

  2. It doesn't bother me that ******* Dinwiddie could've ran for the first down instead of throwing it to James Johnson.

  3. Current rankings. 1. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (9-6) Last Week: 1 Last Game: 55-27 win over Edmonton Next game: At Hamilton, Fri. Oct. 4 Worth noting: The Bombers are now 9-2 since that 0-4 start to their season and are playoff-bound for the eighth consecutive year. Big games from Zach Collaros, Brady Oliveira and Nic Demski in last week’s demolition of the Elks should be very encouraging for a fan base that through all of the recent success they’ve seen, may have still been questioning that side of the ball. A career night from Collaros likely provides a confidence boost from the field level through all of the seats at Princess Auto Stadium.

  4. Because it's no fun to say, Bombers are going to beat them like a rented mule.

  5. No Bridges, Bell or Usher for the Ti Cats. Have to do what we haven’t done since the dynasty started.. and win a game on the road in Hamilton. This team feels different! After an 0-4 start and 2-6 start nothing feels given it’s been earned week in and week out.

  6. exactly right... culture starts at the top... Mace - jury still out on how good of a coach he will be - is working under Reynolds and O'Day... now compare that to the Bombers hierarchy and there's a clear difference... well his resumé includes 3 years as a "pass game coordinator" and 3 years as a "run game coordinator"... it's almost like the guy is qualified to be a coordinator of offenses... I wonder if a job like that exists 🤔

  7. well it doesn't bother me like keeps me up at night... I just imagine how dominant the D could be with a legit pass rush

  9. Williams suspended for one game. Guy tries to hurt another player and it could have resulted in paralysis. One game is joke but so is CFL "discipline".

  10. This club has taken the bad start we had AND has used it as a motivator....Are we done as a force in this league , was the question I'm sure every player asked themselves when they looked in the mirror and quickly came to the conclusion that the answer was....'NO gawd damn way........We're going to turn this thing around' and that became the theme AND it has become the new mantra right till this point ......I don't think we're going to let up now and we should be able to cool ol Bo Levi's jets tomorrow....This team has the talent to go all the way ...and we'll sure as hell give it our best shot to be in the Cup, and bring another one home come NOV. and ya just can't ask for a better turn around than that

  11. I really like it cuz its so fun to see the moment they are completely forced to steer away from their script. 🙂

  20. If Demski can’t go I think they should move Clercius inside and bump Lucky out to wideout.

  23. Howell is an interesting choice. He's been coaching for over a decade. I do wonder why he's basically only been a receivers coach/passing game co ordinator and never an OC.

  25. They’ve called on buck a few times so it’s hard to imagine that he wasn’t their first pick. Also for them to take our oc that’s been groomed for years would be a big win with the market and if it made us worse an even bigger win. That said I think we would’ve been better off with a new oc, and they’d be worse off with buck over mace. I fully believe mace wants that Mafia culture. I don’t think he has a clue how to get it done, little on what it’d take to cut out the toxicity. And I don’t know if he, the market or oday would have the patience to do what would be needed. I really think we got close to not making it before the 19 gc too.

  28. Much like the year he was the west nominee, it's the 2 sweetest words in the English language. De - Fault! Bo Levi is on too crappy a team, adams didn't play all year, Kelly missed most of the year cause he's an *******... Really the choice is simple: Brady. But people gonna use touchdowns as some kind of reason not to.

  29. Hamiltons pass game has been maybe the best in the league. Their D however, has been the dead last in terms of total points, offensive points, tds, first downs and second worst in passing tds. While also giving up the second most passing and rushing first downs, 2nd worst 2nd conversion rate, a qbr against of almost 100, while being neck and neck with us in pretty much all run stopping categories. We are +7 on turnovers compared to Hamilton, +7 in big plays, while they have a slight edge in pass pro and pass rushing. If any secondary or D can slow down Hamilton, it’s us. And their D weaknesses line up very well with our strengths. I don’t think they can slow us down or shoot it out with us unless we play down to them. I don’t think we will put a 50 burger up again, but I think the play on the field with be pretty one sided in our favour.

  30. Yeah that was some WWE type crap...yeah he apologized...they all do when caught...but he still did it..and the way in which he did was total intent and pathetic...not a case of "not controlling" your body...or a borderline late head shot type impact...he totally knew what he was trying to do..was as cut and dry as you will see...I bet if we had a idiot do that he would a) be cut or b) not see the field again this yr But...Riders..."oh he sorry" and "we talked about it and how it's bad" blah blah blah

  32. Week 3 Power Rankings. We were dead last. 9. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (0-2) Last Week: 5 Last Game: 23-19 loss to Ottawa Next game: Vs. BC, Fri. June 21 Worth noting: We said it last week when they were at No. 5 and we’ll say it again this week with them at No. 9: this feels strange. Zach Collaros is yet to throw a passing touchdown and has three interceptions; the Bombers have allowed five sacks in two games, giving them the second-worst total in the league and they’re last in scoring, at 15.5 points per game. Those are all bad stats, but also things that as we head into Week 3 of the season, could change in one game. Injuries are a factor in their slow start. Brady Oliveira sat out last week’s loss to Ottawa and Kenny Lawler is on the six-game injured list with a fractured arm. Another star receiver, Dalton Schoen, sat out Monday’s practice with a hip issue. Time will heal some physical wounds and we still think that the Bombers will find their way back to the upper levels of these rankings.

  37. I don't even think in the past 5...6 yr that P.Jones was what he used to be either...I think he was past his best before date as well...and isn't as connected, or in touch as much as he used to be yup...the rot permeates right on down the line

  39. Reynolds took over and immediately threw the code of conduct out the window. He was the original culture setter that rules don't matter. No culture until he is gone. He cheated to get Jones, he then allowed...nay...encouraged Jones to cheat, who in turn allowed his players to play fast and loose with the rule book. It's so entrenched there now you gotta blow it up. Nik Marshall and a couple Crips wanna have a word with you about your opinion.
