  1. Darvin was soooo underrated, and vital part also to our turn around and how our receiving group goes about it's business...even today....he was a huge influence Never liked how he went out here, should have been better in my opinion....Or even have a one day signing and retire as a Bomber and have him up in front of a big crowd....

  2. Man miss Cuthbert doing games On a different note at around 10:40....hmmm...Strev....drops back in pocket....delivers a strike for a TD...just like a guy playing Actual QB...Who'da thunk....an there is a lot of highlights of that if you actually go look...the gimmicky stuff is just ruining him

  3. Not a single person called him an all time great... Just that he was underrated, which he definitely was outside of Winnipeg. He was a great route runner, pass catcher and exceptional blocker.

I think the dropping of 8 and 9 into coverage is gonna turn into an "interception fiesta for The Molesta"

  5. Adams tho...showed...and lead by example the blocking aspect, and what/how to run your routes when you were not getting the ball....and that has continued after him. And from what I know would hold a player accountable when they let up...he was a leader He also made a lot of big catches for us....big

  6. 4th straight sell out. Since 2022, Winnipeg has 17 sellouts more than the other 8 teams combined. Riders have three. Credit to Ed Tait for this info. In short, we are the best fans in the CFL.

  7. 11:33 for the the play in the WSF. Huge play. All of Adams TDs included to turn this into an appreciation thread.

  8. Those were all great trades. Really the Nichols trade ended up changing our franchise forever it was the first real domino dropping and setting things in motion..

@DTonOB can you ask Osh if or who our nationalized American is as it is never noted on depth chart...and if we dont use one ask him why and what reason for not utilizing a rule that would only help us?

  13. the QB trades are some wizard trades but I'll always say that the opening kickoff of the modern Bomber era was Kyle Walters' first trade: Alex Hall for Paddy Neufeld (and a 4th, which became Christophe Normand) Getting a Canadian starter for a decade in exchange for a rental on an American rush end is some fine work indeed ... and the fact that it came at the expense of the Roughriders is (chef's kiss)

Glad we going with Kelly over Hallet....kids a baller Nice that Griffin is in and looking forward how we use Notree...may be a nice sneaky late season add. Cole getting lotsa reps too will be interesting....he may not let the spot go now...other than our 2 Canadian DT's thats a very athletic front 8 Still would have liked to see Fox for Bridges....dump one the Canadian DT's for Karamoko or any other Canadian or Global who can play teams and offer depth...that would be ideal

  18. I was the same. But for me it was more watching the secondary completely befuddle BLM...that was immensely entertaining.

Argos got away with the game last time. I wouldn't expect that many turnovers in scoring position again. Never mind the absolute gift td the argos got on an int that the cfl later admitted should have been PI. In summary **** you, **** the argos and their sex pest qb.

  21. Hubert or Murphy...let them get some reps...We have held Murphy for 2 yrs now....if he not worthy of being on roster then why he here? Give Samson a game...He has more upside than either the 2 on roster currently...let him show his chops But agree...or depth is not what it was, and our PR makeup is shitty too

Yes... There are four uses for the Nationalized American rule. One use is to take the spot of one of 21 Canadians on the overall roster. We are currently utilizing this rule. You do NOT need to name which player is your Nationalized American, you just need to have at least one player eligible. The second use is to replace one of the 8 required starting Canadians. You would need to name this player on your roster. The third use is as a backup - if a Canadian is injured in-game, they can be replaced by a Nationalized American. Again, no need to name these players on the roster. The fourth use is the "Designated Nationalized American" rule. You name a player as a DNA and they can replace one Designated National for up to 25 snaps per game. You have to name the DNA and the DN before the game. So, for example, we could name Lucky a DNA and Clercius a DN and Lucky could replace Clercius for 25 snaps but he could NOT replace Demski, Oliveira, or any other National.

  23. McCheese would actually make a real nice serviceable number 2 somewhere tho...and a lot of times...a change of scenery does a world of difference

  24. PJ Walker represents a bonafide chance at moving on from McCheese. I would be excited if I were a Stamps fan.

  25. The last couple years of Darvin's time here were mired in injuries and inconsistency, but he did give us a few really good years of production and big play capability. You are correct that it was time to move on, but you are also glossing over a number of years he was a consistent 1000 yard guy for us that played football the right way. Bailey was a warrior who did everything we asked of him and did it for peanuts. Are we better off without him....well with the emergence of Wheatfall and Wilson it would be pretty hard to argue that we aren't. He played his heart out for us though. Over rated...maybe...but that's because fans respected his game.

  28. Darvin made big plays in both the WSF and WF in 2019 to help us make the cup that year.

  30. yeah, until the WSF win I had the magical play mentally filed under "just another Robert Marve-style crowd pleaser." the dagger play of the WSF ... that was when I started to believe. Darvin Adams caught the winning TD for us in OT in 2021. What a great way for him to go out, he led the Bomber passing game for so many years....

  31. I’ll be honest with you guys, I still had zero faith in 2019 until the WSF. Finally winning IN Calgary made me realize it was something special. That long TD from Collaros to Adams, with Cuthberts call “Going deep for Adams….and he’s got him!” One of my favourite moments as a fan, still gives me chills to this day.

  32. Wouldn't be surprised to see Notree playing lots depending on Griffin's ability to play. Cole...we're still waiting. He's lost the job to every other American LB they've brought in and/or kept coming out of camp since he's been here. Couple picks over 3 years, down after down not really making plays.

  33. It’s kinda funny the 3 best trades of the modern bomber era is probably all 3 mafia qb trades. A 5th(iirc) for Nichols, the swap for Collaros, and the fortune we got for Willy. Honourable mention for grant trade. Has any other trades been even close since the joke that was ray to Toronto?

  34. Lawler credits Darvin with teaching him how to study the playbook until he knew it inside out, something Lawler admits he did not do seriously when he first arrived in Wpg..

Correct. But that is not included in the 21 national players stated. It's for the 45th player 3 qbs, 19 americans, 21 canadians (including nationalized american), 1 global = 44 45th can be global or canadian (which we use as a global atm) https://www.cfl.ca/game-rule-ratio/ We have 20 canadians on the roster which can only be legal if we have a nationalized american

  45. To an extent yeah, but also he barely played in college and in his many years in the nfl. Mbt is 36 and has played a total of 70 games. Mccheese is 27 and played in 56. Fajardo is 32 and he’s played 114. Bo has 176 at 34. Over 5 years of college mbt only played 55 games including plenty of back up time. Even a 2 year starter in hs. BLM played more hs and college games than mbt has since hs combined. It’s pretty wild really.

  46. Thats a great comparison. Though walker has played a whole lot more at both the pro and college level. So it's likely he picks things up faster and or has more potential. Plus the mobility. I could see him going back south after this year though. That is a guy a bunch of teams could want in camp in the NFL. Harris and zach have a TON of wear for their ages. MBT, has remarkably low physical wear. But the ghosts of his ancestors rattling around that empty dome of his. Walker is some where in between. He hasn't seen as much action as harris and zach as a pro, but way more than mbt. If walker gets action this year or is in camp next year he will be one of the more interesting guys to watch, We all need big stan to keep going for as long as possible, just for the mental health of the fans becoming old heads.

  47. Touchy McFeely's whole game is closing his eyes and hucking it as far as he can. I like to think of him as a Michael Reilly, but instead of having a cool hat he is a sex offender. Anyways, we need good coverage downfield and a safety who knows what he is doing.
