I am rooting for Ottawa but expect Toronto to win the ESF. WSF-I am hoping for BC because I hate the Riders and want their season to end.

It's already a dynasty. If anyone was to go back to 2018, with the drought still in tact and someone says to them - you're going to make it to the next 5 grey cups, but you can't know how the games turn out, would you take it? Every single fan at the time would say yes without hesitation.

This is a rule of the site, but it is mostly around legalities of not trying to steal content and making sure people who create content get the revenue / clicks / views for producing it. If Zach wants to post an article he wrote on this site, its his right as its his content. As for posting articles here, I have no problem with Zach promoting content here. As many have said, there is very little CFL content in even the major news sites these days, so if its a passion, I see no harm in doing what they are doing. It promotes the CFL and Winnipeg sports scene, which is great. Without any knowledge of traffic or the business model for Bonfire sports, I highly doubt they are getting rich off of it. It might trend to spam if he starts posting a new thread daily which simply links to an article, but that is not at all what I've seen so far. There is a stickied thread where he posts videos, and this is the first "dedicated" thread I've seen or remember. Go do your thing Zach and let the haters hate.

I am still perplexed by your reasoning. Don’t fans on this site want people to hear their opinion? What’s the difference between that and a blog post? Only difference I can see is that a blog post is longer and accessible by a link. Either way, my article is not a blog post. And by the way, I read 3Down and their stuff is getting a lot better. John Hodge is a friend of mine and his pieces are top-notch. Also, how do you expect CFL content to grow if not from people that aspire to hone their craft, even if they’re fans? It’s not like the newspaper industry is growing. This is the new way people consume news. Yes some of the stuff on 3Down is fluff but the newspapers are dying. Free Press is the only newspaper in the country that sends a cfl reporter to away games. That’s Jeff Hamilton. It’s a sad state of affairs. I’m trying to grow the cfl by writing about it and talking about it on our show. If you don’t want to read or listen to my stuff because I’m not a trained reporter, all the power to you. But you don’t need to disparage it.

Gotta disagree pretty hard here. We complain about lack of CFL coverage in general, and the fluff on 3dn. After Dark is some of the most thorough, thoughtful CFL content in the country. Zach is one of us man. I think he deserves our respect, or at the very least to not be **** on. That being said, @Zach Schnitzer, nice article but for the love of god, take that “Shynasty” word out of your mouth and off your keyboard until (if and when) it’s cemented, “They’re gonna do it again, and they’re gonna do it in Regina!” Me- to the whole room during the 2021 GC presentation. “Mike O’Shea and Zach Collaros are not losing a Grey Cup game to Jason Maas and Cody Fajardo” -Me on here, the day before the ‘23 game ffs.

Ottawa's secondary just mindlessly running around. The fact you can have two guys that open in the middle of the field, have the ball tipped and floating in the air, guy can catch it and not get massacred in the process speaks volumes.

I don't think another QB in this league today wins 7 games with the Bombers receiving corps this year minus Schoen, Lawler and Wolitarsky so much. Playing so many games without any big/reliable targets. So if you're worried about Collaros play in Grey Cup games. Be happy we have him to give us a chance to get there.

According to TSN stats, Dru and Kelly are not that far apart- surprising. If Dru Brown cranks his game up a bit, it could be an interesting game despite the differences in on-field talent in receivers, running backs and O-lines.

I'm 100 percent on the Osh bias of Canadians getting moocho reps whether they the best option or not...some point he wants to parlay or some soap box he needs to preach from....I get it....he's Canadian....proud as punch about it....but you also have to have some balance and concrete reasoning as to why u have the need to field more than required, at expense of your best roster...

Read your comments, Zach. My main issue with MOS is we haven't fielded our best team all year. Why are we playing 10 or 11 starting Canadians at the expense of better American players especially on the defensive line with Canadians Thomas & Schmeckel, two of our "all star" (sarcasm) UNDERperformers constantly getting playing time? They do absolutely nothing out there yet they get playing time at the expense of Woods, Fox & Adams. Our OL same thing. Some of the personnel decisions are just baffling. As far as returners go, Returner Chandler Worthy was on the Stamps PR & released when their season ended. Why wouldn't we pick the guy up for the playoff run? Just put the best team on the field starting 7 Canadians & see what happens.

I particularly enjoy the pregame content with Chris Walby, I never would have known about it if Zach hadn't posted it months ago. There is plenty of worthwhile content to watch and read if you're looking for CFL content I assume that like MBB at least part of your revenue is generated by ad views. I wonder if there is a way to throw a little MBB banner link up somewhere on your website, or a 'friends of the page' section somewhere? Get those clicks flowing both directions! Projecting a lot of feeling and opinion towards blogs on zach here. I’ve never found his content to be self important or self righteous. I am far worse on here than that I’m sure. I get it, I’ve got plenty on here blocked because I don’t enjoy what they write. same lol also agree. I think 1 more win with in a streak of appearances ices it, but I don’t think you’ll see this level of accomplishment often in a generation.

Far as I can see we have plenty of posters who like to express their opinion and see who agrees/disagrees. If you are simply posting to show how smart you are the its futile. At least Zac tries to put out his views with items to support them and welcomes other opinions. To simply put down another poster is something that you usually see on the rider forum

Godber is better, and Ferland as pressed into duty is better. Worse ol, but kola wouldn’t make their roster. This is a good question. Justin Lawrence in Montreal, Sean mcewen in Calgary, and couture in bc are the class of the league. When healthy, couture is the guy I’d pick on game day. Lawrence is the guy I’d take to go into a season with. I’m a bit biased towards couture. He’s soo good at making guys around him better. Lawrence heads up vs a pass rusher is better.

I agree with you… we were desperate to end that drought in the late teens… but man one (or ideally two) more would make it so much sweeter…

If BLM can throw for the kind of yards he did over the course of this season, it’s not unreasonable to think that Zach can elevate his playoff play for two games.

Ottawa plays into November with no running back so they seem resigned to lose.
