My guess...and just a guess, is that we don't end up with either ford. Tre IMO is too raw and in a difficult position, with Fajardo, Mc Beth, Mair, Masoli, Streveler etc. potentially being available. This year QB's who have taken teams to the cup and even won it are potentially available....and not many teams will be looking for a number 1, so he is still looking to be a "bridesmaid" I think. Tyrel has shown he is patient with the NFL, I think he will have some interest, and can't blame him for trying.....I think if/when he has his sights set on the CFL his ask will be too much for us.

Exactly...no different than here...and Killam has way more coaching experience And by all accounts I aware of...he's highly regarded and respected by players...not just ST slugs...so he gets his shot now...as long as he no Claybrooks he will be fine...as long as as he has good people around him

the same group of players has been torn on if the top half of the stamps them self are reputable or not. Mos, was also a hof on the short list of best Canadian players of all time. A lot of the hiring of a hc is based on interviews, and how your own character check into their background goes. Not saying he’s a bad hire, not sure there is a hc I’d get really excited about bringing in for any team this year. But a project hc for a team that has been every shade of bad for many years is not encouraging. Especially when they were almost a play off team after the ejection of jones. This move means another group that comes in and clears out old players and tries to start from scratch. Instead of building off what they had. But also when claybrooks got his job imo. Every time an established co get a hc job people celebrate.

Except that a seemingly endless parade of former players have taken to social media saying what an incredible leader of men he is and how he's long overdue for this promotion. It almost sounds like the praise surrounding Osh when he first got hired here....

I get that, I think with our offence though he could really flourish. And he fits a big need for us in a big way.
