My vote is for Jackson. I was impressed with the Elks run game. I think he could bring some fresh ideas to Winnipeg's offence.

I really don’t think Bighill goes in. 2x MODP might get him there, but there’s no way he gets in before Brady, Harris, Bryant or Collaros at this point and that’s a lot of names to be behind. (Just to add, there’s no way he should go in before Battle either if we’re talking linebackers)

They said it like this was news, but didn’t they narrow it down to that group last week? Just doesn’t make sense. If maksymic is the guy, why are you looking at an oc for the hc job from another team? How can you promote a guy whose offence got worse with more talent, couldn’t make it work with either qb, got worse when it counted and hasn’t been able to get the O to live up to expectations in the play offs. I wouldn’t want to hire buck either, but it’s no comparison between the 3 candidates. A guy who has been failing down at easier jobs for years now, a guy who has had his offences get worse each year for a while, and the best mix of experience and success. Really the biggest thing bc needs is a culture reset. Buck is the only option that can do that for them.

Right away? No, I don't think he will and that's not disrespecting Biggie. The Bombers have so many deserving candidates that I believe deserve the nod and have waited for the nod.

I often think about how great of a player he was and was crucial in our 2019 run.

Harris led us to the Cup and helped end the 29 year drought. Also helped us win the second because heck we don't get there without his 2021 WF performance. He also helped the turnaround in 2016. I think its: Bryant Miller/MOS/Walters Harris/Jefferson/Collaros/Bighill Not that Reaves, T.Jones, Battle don't deserve a nod

Good for Buck....He needs the chance to give it a whirl....Maybe with just managuing the game day...and not the play calling will be right up his alley now, as he seemed to falter a lot with in game adapting....let his CoOrds do that Same with Killam....not sure why many here...who really dont know much about the guy other than yip yappin here are so negatives,,,,guys a quality coach, and has gotten kudos by many current and former players a well....sucking in Cgy isn't a reflection on any of the assistants there...it falls right on HC and GM....OH...THEY THE SAME DUDE....imagine that AS for us....if we go this purported internal promotion thats literally taking a step back....same ol same ol...status quo....happy with just maintaining...I hate that is even being looked at....but typical and not shocking with the way the team and how certain aspects are ran....sadly The loss of Buck tho will be the best thing for Strev if he is retained...and from my understanding will be. Buck over Mackysmic says the leos want a total different direction for their offence ...which was needed....Hate to lose Pierce but wish him all the success in the world except when we lock horns....Now we have to make the right move to fill oc......I hope we do a lot of heavy thinking before we make that move.....We're on the clock

Happy to hear it, wish him well. Not a big surprise, he is a really good positional coach. all he’s done every year in both roles here is succeed. Personally I hope they give Costello an ast co or run game co type promo as well. Hes the one I least want to lose. The adjustment to oc especially at a high level is one of the hardest though. I’ll be interested to hear him talk and see what kind of scheme he will run. Personally I would’ve gone with fresh blood. But I do like bourgoin. He does have plenty of potential. And he was the rb coach during our heaviest run years. Who we bring in as qb coach will be very interesting as well. If we bring in a guy with oc experience who can help guide Bourgoin that will be huge. Khari, Jackson, who ever. He was our rb coach during the Harris era, and switched to wr coach in 21.

He's been here for 7 years so maybe he would have new ideas or maybe not. We definitely need some new ideas though!

I like Jarious Jackson, he has run some solid offenses. People will hate it but Osh for sure will consider LaPo. Would certainly give us the run oriented offense some crave. I'm not a huge fan of run offenses but LaPo would be alright with this personnel group.

Pierce and Kilam both fail up the ladder. Uninspiring duo, imo.

My first choice would be Jarious Jackson as OC. Travis Moore is another interesting name.

Yep, that LB group (Battle, Jones, West) we had in the late 80's - early 90's was incredible. I'm kind of surprised Battle isn't already in there tbh. When they picked the all-time Bomber team for the club's 75th anniversary, Battle was the only LB selected.

A couple years ago DT did a whole segment on the pre game (mighta been talking to Bauming) about all the players from this core group that are Ring Of Honour players... It's really ridiculous. We will never see this again in our lifetimes.

3 great years here. We’ve had similar stretches from a bunch of other lbers over the years who didn’t go up. Bout a mile behind Tyrone jones. Bighills best years are all with the lions it’s not even close. Yep battle too. Biggie isn’t the best lber, best front 7 guy even among guys who aren’t in yet. He wasn’t the best defensive player in his time here. He was behind Willy and ba early, then guys like Nichols lately.

Bighill 100% goes in right away. People are really forgetting how good he was the first 4 or 5 years in Winnipeg...

I agree wade has the strongest single case. I like the idea of all 3 going up together. I don’t think biggie goes up in any hurry if at all. He’s behind others atleast one big one on D. Brady could end up the most prolific Canadian back in history in a couple years.

I question whether Harris should go in the Ring of Honour thanks in part due to the success Brady has had. Sure Harris had some great seasons with the Bombers and was part of the team that won the 1st Cup in 29 years but should he be one of the chosen few? Where do they drawn the line? Why would Harris go in and not Reaves? Because Harris is from Winnipeg? He can be celebrated when he goes into the Bomber Hall of Fame.

I think the question is do all 3 mafioso go up? What wade has done for grass roots, and for involving kids/people in remote communities alone is hof worthy. What he’s done financially, creating a winning culture, and a long line of highly successful front office types to coaches is extraordinary. Walters with the player management side, scouting, resigning is an exceptional candidate as well.
