  1. I like the logo; I don’t think they should change the name back but I hope they go to the 70s style uniforms as well.

  3. I mean look at how spending big on an impact MLB transformed our team back when we got Bighill when he didn’t suck

  4. How long into the new year before they do anything at all? OC, player personnel dept, re-signings. Feels pretty directionless. Out of that huge FA list, Bryant signed (who wasn’t realistically going anywhere else) Tony Jones, Sergio and a couple of jobbers. FA is a month away so they’ve got some time but tbh it seems like they’re flying by the seat of their pants more so than other years.

  5. So how long into the new year do we wait for the call on the new OC.....Ranks are getting thin out there as far as CFL availabilities....Would be nice to get an inkling about the direction we're heading....Jackson looks to be the best option........the wheels are slowly turning when it comes to this hire, but I guess it's more important to get it right

  6. Glad they're not going full redneck and change the name back,... Interesting vintage look to the logo.

  7. Incoming controversial take: Whenever we played the Als, RB's or Ticats (speaking of teams that just seem to have your number!), it always looked fairly apparent that each of them had a Toronto-Specific gameplan. I never got that feeling or saw evidence of that against the Bombers.

  9. Exactly the same people would complaining about bringing back vets and status quo. I love this. Not to say some of our guys won’t be back but gotta take a long hard look at some of these players and hopefully be more active in FA

  10. The way some folks talk no signings should be good news right

  11. Incoming non controversial take: Argos smell putrid. Happy New Year!

  12. I fear that we will see LaPolice back again. It wouldn't be a complete disaster, but it would be a clear signal that O'Shea is going to dish out more of what we've had.

  13. They must be making some roster management changes...perhaps consulting the database.

  15. shouldnt all the players u roster have never say quit in them..and be tough...athletic...versatile....and if not...why they on roster?...call me crazy but in my coaching tenure/experience, thts how we rolled....yhou eraned a spot in camp....and then had to maintain/keep it in season...be it if you were a rookie...2 yr guy..10 yr guy....nothing was handed to you with zero competition, and if you were not performing at the best compete level....u saw the bench or inactive roster.....or bought a bus ticket... that staff does not inspire me....Good luck Buck I think Jackson is the guy...and best option...he's been around a bit but worked with a lot of people....and like Younger has some innovative ideas He has the knowhow and actual sense to use skill sets to get the best out of players...if he was here last yr he would have utilized Whitehead...Demski and likely MCI to an extent to help open things up elsewhere...I could also have seen Brown stick on roster and become a nice piece.... Musta got it in Dubai

  17. Bourgoin, Charbonneau, McDiarmid and Young we're all Bombers coaches, at least at one point, right? Buck loading up a decent staff...

  18. Every team needs to have a few guys who put their body on the line to enable others to shine. But you should be using role players to enable guys like biggie. Not guys like biggie to help the Jake Thomas’. Yeah he was soo critical to our getting over the hump. Hope he goes into coaching. Such a smart great hard working guy.

  19. We need to spend money & rebuild the defense. Especially along the Front 7. We need two impactful Defensive Tackles who are not only run stoppers but can pressure from the interior of the line. A new MLB. And we have to sign Ford. A priority!!!

  20. At this point I’d rather have a high priced MLB than a second high priced receiver at or over 30 years old. Just scour down south and find a guy like Shamar Bridges to replace either Dalton or Kenny. Though I get it’s not that simple, I’m sure it’s easier to find a 6”3 guy who can jump and catch than it is to find a rookie all-star MLB. It’s not like we run a crazy complicated route tree. We won grey cups with top-end talent on defence and the o-line, and a stud RB. The club needs to get back to that line of roster imo This paying 4 skill players on offence reeks of the early 2000s, where it was always close but just not good enough to bring home the prize.
