Ceresna would be a great add. If for some reason Wynton McManis is available, he is worth all the money.

I only have Streveller, Lawler, Schoen, Dobson and Ford as a must-sign for us. The rest are good-to-have on the right price. I wish either Alexander or Biggie to retire and be a part of the coaching staff as a defensive assistant.

If he could he would've been their starter. His NCAA career shows that he's a specialist. Shiltz and Dolegala are basically the same as decent QB's but have opposite flaws. Shiltz can't do anything vertical. Dolegala struggles with accuracy in mid-range. If Collaros is the starter, Dolegala is a way easier guy to slot in as a backup IMO because we are built on vertical passing game.

A guy also has to want to be locked up somewhere....maybe he intended to leave for 2 yrs...gethis dollars up...get valuable starter play time and come back here in 2026 ...in his prime...and hopefully dropping dimes....there is that angle too

Actually 2 in a row really, how much can he demand really when he hasn’t been healthy in a while . His health and durability has to be a concern. Ford trying the NFL. Dobson wants to be paid top starting cdn guard money. I’m not sure Schoen and Dobson are priorities and I know Ford isn’t cuz of walters quote. looking at who is left. Lawler and maybe a DL or 2 like fox or garbutt but should be able to find some DL no? walters quotes from the meetings in Carolina tell me changes are coming. the most interesting signings might be Free Agents from other teams. The Faj loss hurt more. We gave up a late TD there. That was the difference. That hurts more than seeing your injured QB throw interceptions and 40 yard passes while not being able to really even grip the ball properly. The T Dot game was over after Zach got hurt. Then returned and promptly made it obvious it was over. The Faj beat us with like seconds??? To go. That hurt.

Don’t think you can make a bad choice tbh. We’ve seen how lawler deals with all kinds of adversity though. We’ve also seen angry lawler going hulk mode on teams. Daltons age might win it for me. Plus the fact we have possession guys, but we struggled greatly with out the scramble guy in schoen. I think his fit is harder to replace. TLDR, get both lol. A little bit high, but not bad at all. I think we pay a bit more for his prime age.

First few Games he did. But was excellent especially down the stretch. Room to improve, he wasn’t dominant like he could be. I love his upside and athleticism. But I like Wallace better. Unless Dobson takes a big step this year I don’t think he will even hit his potential ceiling. I wouldn’t want to pay a young ni ol top dollar on potential. I’m not sure how I feel about not our MM. he’s shown to be a very high level positional coach. He’s under achieved on bad teams as an OC. He’s certainly fresh blood, and as had been said the Argos have trounced us in coaching the last few years. Jackson im a big fan off. I think with our weapons and no toxic jones to over come he’d really excel here. Honestly having MM as the worst case is pretty awesome. If it’s either of them lll be pretty happy. I don’t think strev is a must sign. But I think he is a lock to be back. With a new oc I’d be very interested to see how he does. I really want to see that. But for short yardage we got guys and for vet back ups I like the options in free agency. ford isn’t one as I think it’s a better chance some one else over pays him or he’s gone to the nfl. Big time want back but my expectations are low. with schoen out to start the year Lawler is the next closest. We could get another guy that level in free agency but not nearly as good a fit with zach. Dalton I think no one is gonna give a pay day to see how he is 6 games into the season.
