I miss the super dogs and even the cross fit thing they did once at a bomber game. I’d love to see some thing unique.3 points -
yeah...Agreed...not sure if feature back is in cards....but as a TE in big packages...or even as a slot/Drury type guy he could reep huge rewards...get him out on swings or crossers...in open space...and he gets rolling with his sub 4.5 speed and his size....yowzers3 points

MCI Wallace Clercius. Hell of a draft by Walters. Be nice if we can find 3 more this year who contribute2 points

yeah too bad he got knicked last yr....but I expect an expanded role...and with good coaching....which we basically have...upside is huge if we plan to utilize his skillset....same with Clercius's development now he defacto starter....he has serius upside as well.....2 points

Game 70: @ Kane mutiny

Interesting perspective, but then why all the narrative around goaltenders stealing games? I was a hardcore Senators fan and I remember the series against Laff Nation in 2004 (yes I am old). Game 7 in Toronto. Patrick Lalime let in 2 soft goals and before you knew it it was 3-0 and the Sens eventually lost the game. There is nothing the Sens team could have done to make up for that clusterfuck from Lalime. Looking back to Game 1 last year against the Avs, Helle let in 6 goals. But most times, he was able to see the puck. I would argue 4 of those goals came from clear sightlines. We were fortunate that the Jets offence was on fire, and Gorgiev was also just as brutal. Even in game 2, Helle makes a disastrous play to giveaway the puck that puts the Avs up 3-2. Then with 10 secs to go, there's a breakaway given to Josh Manson , who is not a sniper, and it's 4-2 avs. I would have argued that Helle should have stopped Manson. Anyways, I really hope we make some noise int he playoffs. This is OUR YEAR!2 points -
This guy is only going to get better....in fact I'm going to predict he has a banner year and well into the future....One of our bright lights for sure2 points

Like other sports, hockey is a team sport. Anyone paying attention isn't suggesting that Helle is the only reason to date we have come up short in post season. He has played a part though.2 points -

Last year I asked myself, is there a rule that a half time show has to be music? Go off the charts and bring in a high end comedian who does a set on football. 🙂2 points -
I'm doing all my vacationing in Canada this year so I'm there and hopefully the blue and gold will be too! halftime acts always suck live. you could put the Beatles or the Who out there and they'd suck. stadiums sound terrible.2 points

MCI was probably the best athlete and tester in the entire draft class....and would have been in top teir in NFL draft for his position as well even tho he he didnt have the actual play time....savvy pick and with the right coaching and not getting his development or projected use stagnated/********....he is gonna be a huge assett The dlineman talkd about just isn't a tester...but he is a gamer...he's from the visual on his tape smart...see's plays develop and knows where/how to get to spots to make an impact.....some guys just arent testing beasts but all they do is make plays...much like many of the testing metric superstars...and guys who look like greek gods are useless and middling players...this is where your scouting....your connections in who you know and who to talk to are valuable and important in finding the gems I2 points

yup...pointless to have that extra guy really when you have big bodied skill guys Buck subtraction to me is addition...big one...he got stale Samson too really....He's a better option than either SchmeckThomas....Can he hurdle them and Osh's affinity...thats the question...way more upside...and he's a powerhouse bull....could be a key piece to develop1 point

yup...took him a few games....mainly getting used to the speed and the intricasies of Canadian Pro ball but when he grasped it...he was getting real good With a new offensive brain trust now.....which is gonna only be good for us albeit maybe a few growing pains along the way...but I see them really utilizing skill sets and dynamics of what we can do....Buck was horrible with creating anything to take advantage of what players could/can do, and exploiting teams with it...he was just stuck in his template and I dont think could see past the basic of basic I think the biggest signing here is Jarius and his ability to see what can be with players and implementing it onto game plans.....I'm really curious to see what he does and how he and the OC implement out 3 backs (BO....Logan...MCI) My hope with MCI and Clercius on roster...we drop that extra Oline guy we carried and use those 2 big bodies on the edge with the threat they can pop out and take a pass, or a toss.....We only used that 7th guy for most part off the edge anyway and really was insignificant as teams knew he was no threat1 point -
I was really impressed with his uptake last year. He went from lost in short yardage and not really able to fill any roster role to a pretty good block n push guy. Excited to see year two from last years rookie crop. We got a tremendous mix of athletic upside, and strong intangibles.1 point

Praying for another appearance so we can just party for like two weeks straight. What a ******* time. And then the Only Curling Trials right after GC with some legit threats for MB in that... Could just be an incredible fall/winter for the Bison...1 point

i'd have to agree, we lost three allstars, and picked up a number of middle of the pack players. What puts teams over the top is those make a difference type players and Walters is paying so much attention to the last year cap we've once again failed to attract those players1 point -

Hopefully the clinch early a bit and can rest some guys the last 3 or 4 games. Think KC and Scheifele are still alright, KC won the game, Vilardi tho has gone quiet. Nino and Apples are struggling but Nino showed some life last game setting up Morrissey. Maybe put Vilardi with Lowry and Nino with KC and 55 cuz lines 2 and 4 are fine. Better to struggle a bit now but they won 2 of 3 on the trip and I’m not sure we talking about line 1 if the van goalie doesn’t make saves he normally does. PK improved. Powerplay a bit iffy but Vilardi struggling. Helle has looked off since the 4 nations. Apparently that’s a common theme in the league. Clinch then rest him. Get Winnipeg guy Driedger a game with the Jets even. Helle overplayed but when it mattered most he made the saves still. So yeah I dunno. Not as dominating recently as normal I guess??? But still winning more often than not. 100 points with 12 13 to go. Probably should enjoy the ride. This is pretty crazy for a Winnipeg nhl team to do. Yes they need to win in the playoffs. But playoffs are still a month away.1 point -

Man, dare to dream. If we eliminate Jakes snaps this year, we likely have a D that can challenge the 21 unit and certainly be the best one since then. Yeah, I feel some positions are already set in stone. If Vaughters stays healthy I don't think any performance in camp or PS takes his job. Good point, Especially in today's CFL. Ratio breakers are on every team now. The league has really good Canadian starters at basically every position these days. We need to be championship-oriented to the point that flipping a spot like G to Imp isn't a concern. No hesitation. I think we have the guys who can take up a starters role in multiple areas, we don't need to force guys onto the field. https://3downnation.com/2025/03/21/blue-bombers-have-not-had-contract-extension-discussions-with-franchise-qb-zach-collaros/ In other news, water is wet and fire is hot!1 point -
