  1. Eric cumberbatch defensive half from the gee gees looks really intriguing. 6’2 202 4.51 40 39” vert 7.12 3 cone 4.31 ss 11’2” broad jump. 26 games 83 tackles 4 tfl 15 pkd 3 picks 1 fumble recovery. Real outlier in terms of athleticism and frame. Long tall strong guy kind of similar to clercius. Missed a bit of play time last year. Not sure if he sticks at half and doesn’t have an extensive background excelling on teams. But he’s got tremendous up side as a pass cover wil, S etc. Testing numbers and build likely push him up the draft board, but he could be incredible value in the 3rd plus or minus a bit.

  2. The Super Dogs were great. That was one halftime show I dearly missed when I moved to Calgary. They do have dogs out here & they're really good as well. However, the Stamps barely booked them. I just preferred the Super Dogs, I love dogs... Humans don't deserve them.

  3. Hervey is already back pedalling on that statement. Brady has been a star on the field and viral off it for great reasons, plus he’s a home grown guy. Rourke didn’t live up to his return but he’s got major attention and expectations. Couple of the wrs too imo. In general sports stars aren’t what they used to be and football players have short careers. It’s never going to be the 90s and prior again. The world is very different now.

  5. I don't care who performs just as long as they aren't interviewed during the game. Keith Urban is not alone in this criticism.

The large portion of the cfl market is probably 30-50 men. But the aim is to try n get the youngins to brand in. A really big Canadian act would be great. with the elbows up campaign and massive ground swell of national pride locking in a show like that before the season would help bring in more eyes.

  7. Jets dominating everything but the goal scoring. 25 7 shots after 2 and losing 2 1 is wild.

I expect to be underwhelmed by the half time show but I'm 48 and I know I am not the target audience for sponsors anymore.

They are absolutely trying.... But I can guarantee you it's a slog for them. The CFL isn't as easy a sell among the masses as we want it to be. Unfortunately major businesses aren't beating down the door to sponsor it.

I found the 4 part series Adolescence to be a great watch. Each episode was filmed in one take which made for it to seem like you are there. What is interesting is they shot each episode twice a day for 5 days. Hopefully they renew the series with new story lines.

  16. What doesn’t make sense to me is how can one be a hardcore fan of one team than move to another team? Does not compute.

  17. Yuuuuup. Bumper crop last year. Another year similar will be huge. Down side was the global draft was another total dud. Gotta improve that. plus Samson who has great upside, a lotto ticket in gio, gassama is back for camp, and finally Laroux. We brought back benson but still have Larouxs rights. plus brock gowanlock, who I think they are very high on. He played short yardage and blocking stuff in Montreal. Hes also a much better kick cover guy than you usually see from Canadian DL. Brings great versatility again as a big body Canadian.

  18. yup...took him a few games....mainly getting used to the speed and the intricasies of Canadian Pro ball but when he grasped it...he was getting real good With a new offensive brain trust now.....which is gonna only be good for us albeit maybe a few growing pains along the way...but I see them really utilizing skill sets and dynamics of what we can do....Buck was horrible with creating anything to take advantage of what players could/can do, and exploiting teams with it...he was just stuck in his template and I dont think could see past the basic of basic I think the biggest signing here is Jarius and his ability to see what can be with players and implementing it onto game plans.....I'm really curious to see what he does and how he and the OC implement out 3 backs (BO....Logan...MCI) My hope with MCI and Clercius on roster...we drop that extra Oline guy we carried and use those 2 big bodies on the edge with the threat they can pop out and take a pass, or a toss.....We only used that 7th guy for most part off the edge anyway and really was insignificant as teams knew he was no threat

  19. I was really impressed with his uptake last year. He went from lost in short yardage and not really able to fill any roster role to a pretty good block n push guy. Excited to see year two from last years rookie crop. We got a tremendous mix of athletic upside, and strong intangibles.

I miss the super dogs and even the cross fit thing they did once at a bomber game. I’d love to see some thing unique.

  23. Man, dare to dream. If we eliminate Jakes snaps this year, we likely have a D that can challenge the 21 unit and certainly be the best one since then. Yeah, I feel some positions are already set in stone. If Vaughters stays healthy I don't think any performance in camp or PS takes his job. Good point, Especially in today's CFL. Ratio breakers are on every team now. The league has really good Canadian starters at basically every position these days. We need to be championship-oriented to the point that flipping a spot like G to Imp isn't a concern. No hesitation. I think we have the guys who can take up a starters role in multiple areas, we don't need to force guys onto the field. https://3downnation.com/2025/03/21/blue-bombers-have-not-had-contract-extension-discussions-with-franchise-qb-zach-collaros/ In other news, water is wet and fire is hot!

  24. I honestly think sometimes addition by subtraction can't be discounted. We lost some star power but I think we are deeper this year and some guys we moved on from were good moves. I hope we have a signing or two that moves the needle before or during the season as well.

  25. I think they had a vision, but it is a divisive approach. I get what they were going for, and I think it might even work. But it is risky, and not a good look for a team coming off the GC loses and hosting the cup at home. People don't want to see us fill up our middle back roster, especially when we've lost some of the high-paid guys in FA.
