    I think he has more value than just that stat line. It's a headache for opposing defenses to account for both Harris and Flanders, when they're on the field at the same time.

    Totally agree. Especially the part in blue. Don't let 'tons of fun' waddle into a soft spot in the zone, turn around and catch a pass, uncontested. Happened too often last time.

    Brandon Alexander at corner, and Kevin Fogg at halfback. Looks to me they'll start in place of Brian Walker (hurt) and Roc Carmichael. -Bauming

    I agree with all of the praise for Thorpe. I would like to see a play go to him, like a slant, where he can catch the ball in stride. Dude would be a real nightmare to bring down with a head of steam built up.

    That's exactly what I was screaming at the TV. He's entitled to his spot on the field. Is that actually a rule that was changed in the CFL?

    I am surprised it's everyone, but Ottawa's offense, is what, 1st or 2nd in the league, and our defense is, well..... not. So I'm not completely shocked.

    Let's hope nobody goes down at receiver; very thin there. Excited to see Flanders get a shot. I hope Lapo has installed a few plays with both him and Harris on the field.

    Pretty sure the ball can go out of bounds in the air, but if it hits the ground, it's dead. As an example, a receiver makes a top tap reception with his arms extended catching the ball, over the sidelines; it's a catch because he remains in bounds.

    Why the attitude? I assumed he was injured, as I was keeping an eye on him from my seats, but it wasn't mentioned in this thread. I was simply relaying what I saw.

    Pretty sure Dressler didn't take a single snap on offense in the 2nd half. He was still out there holding for Medlock, but when the O was on the field, he was on the sidelines, standing next to Davis.

    LOL Brilliant! I agree that Lapo seems to over think things. If something is working, stick with it until they show they can stop it. I think his toughest battle goes on in his own head.
