And he can take Flaherty with him. Is it me or does Helle seem to be flailing around more in the net? I feel like he used to be more solid in his positioning. You know, boring? I'm not sure if it's him feeling desperate to play better or what, but he looks a bit frantic at times.

You're right, it's tough to produce with 6 minutes a game, but it's even tougher when Thorburn is one of your line mates. He's an anchor to the 4th line. Not in a good way.

I don't view Stuart as an NHL defenceman, but yeah, Maurice didn't have a lot to choose from, at that point.

If the NHL truly wants to remove this garbage from the game, there should be suspensions and fines for the coach and organization, if you want to call up a cement head and he goes out and hurts someone, with a clearly illegal hit, you'll pay for it.

That was a disgraceful hit. He should never play in the NHL again. Not because of that hit, in particular, but because he is a useless POS and serves no purpose as a hockey player.

Thorburn actually did pretty well in bout number 2.

Just to reiterate, nobody is expecting Thorburn to do anything.... about anything. I'm pretty sure about 99% of us don't even want him dressed... ever.

I, in no way, was implying Thorburn would do anything about the hit. I was bemoaning the fact the he is again playing, over Petan. Plus, If Thorburn is on the ice at the same time as Malkin, something has gone terribly wrong. I would like to see someone catch Malkin with his head down, but I don't expect anyone to 'jump' him. They need to focus on the 2 points.
