Yeah, there is ZERO chance that rink was full all season. Maybe the first handful of games. I guess it’s possible they sold tickets to businesses and nobody showed up, but that arena consistently had a pile of empty seats, from what I saw.

This. The Jets are definitely better than the Flames. They didn’t play terribly tonight, but they didn’t have the energy they had against the Devils.

Yeah, absolutely brutal call that led to the tying goal. Stuff like that needs to be reviewable somehow…. Either by the league buzzing in or a coaches challenge. Can’t have calls like that directly affecting outcomes.

I wasn’t suggesting that Nino isn’t a solid player and a decent top 6 piece (although in a perfect world I’d like him on the 3rd line), I was simply saying that him and Perfetti are very different in how they play and the skill sets they possess.

I know what you’re saying, but Nino and Cole are completely different players, so Nino doesn’t replace what Perfetti does for the team. Even from a points standpoint, I think Perfetti has the edge.

I agree. Don’t know why they continue to play Wheeler in the top six. He’s lost more than just a step in my opinion. He’s still capable of the occasional slick pass, but more often than not, he’s coughing it up and has become an anchor to that line.

Not only are their only 2 wins against the Jets, we only scored 2 goals total, in those two games. TWO GOALS against one of the worst teams in the league! This team is broken. Their play is disjointed and lacks any kind of flow. How are they going to out score anyone when they struggle to even string a couple passes together? I shut the game off after the Sharks got their 2nd goal because I knew it was over. Pretty demoralizing feeling knowing that your team has very little, to no chance of scoring 2 or more goals. Maybe it’s best if they don’t make the playoffs…. Not sure my blood pressure could handle watching them get destroyed.

Nashville winning in Boston is a big kick in the pouch. Jets absolutely have to get 2 points tonight.
